Anna pegged herself in the mirror making sure her appearance was polite and neat because this time she was going to do an interview. He wants to look good, first impressions are very important.

Unfortunately, Irene did not exist this time. Irene certainly can help Anna apply a thin, flawless makeup. Because Irene was not there, Anna just swept the powder and coral color lipstick to make her look fresh but not excessive.

One thing stuck Anna's mind, the thing that kept her from thinking. How could the test have been conducted in the Maxwell Company building. Isn't this job too ordinary to have an interview test in a luxury building.

With her best formal attire, Anna is ready to take a taxi. The Maxwell Company was a long way from home. It's just that Anna has never been there. So this will be the first for him to visit an office building.

"Miss Hayden, it turns out you've been waiting for. Let me take you to the interview room," said the receptionist.

Anna just nodded. Thankfully, it's not a joke. He followed the receptionist and entered the elevator. They went up to the 40th floor. He was quite surprised why only an interview should be on this high floor?

Another female staff welcomed them. A well-groomed blonde woman. Very beautiful, neat and efficient woman. He introduced himself to Amber. Amber then takes over to drive Anna.

Anna nodded in thanks to the receptionist before passing by following Amber. The building here looks very nice. Black and white shades are certainly intimidating. Maybe this kind of design was deliberately created for the sake of such an aura.

Anna had to follow Amber who was walking so fast. Amber's footsteps may be ordinary to him but not to the small Anna, with her towering height of course Amber is used to walking fast and it is quite troublesome for Anna.

"Excuse me.." said Anna asking for attention. Because he saw the man was very focused on what was in front of him.

"Miss Hayden, please sit." Said the man looking at her for a moment. It was just a little later that it dissolved again with his laptop.

The bench in this room is U-shaped with the projector screen still on. There is a design picture of a room that looks like an apartment. Anna looked around somewhat fearfully. He doesn't like dark rooms. The dark was like a mystery that confused him. This dark room makes him uncomfortable.

"There's still something I need to finish. I hope Miss Hayden doesn't mind if I finish this first" the man said. This time he looked at Anna with an intense gaze.

Anna nodded not knowing what to respond to. Did it come at the wrong time?

"Sure, it's okay to finish first. I can wait," replied Anna.

"All right, make yourself comfortable. What do you want to drink?" ask the man again.

Anna wanted to ask him what the name of the man was. But this hasn't even been in the interview session yet, Anna couldn't have asked.

"White water only, sir," Anna replied without being able to say the name of her interlocutor. He was too anxious to remember the name on the copy of his email, which was now recklessly left at the reception desk.

Before long Amber brought a glass of water, a small plate of meat-filled bread, and snacks in small portions to all be carried in a tray.

Anna thanked Amber, who was met with a very sweet professional smile.

Why are all the women in this office so beautiful? He murmured in his heart. Just like any other world.

Theo looked at the girl across from his laptop screen, the girl he knew named Anna. He wanted to make sure that this girl was the girl he saw at the party. And it seemed to be true, this girl was the girl who rejected her suit. The girl who didn't even glance at him twice. A fate without the need to search for this girl was already in front of him now.

His attitude did not change as they had when they met at the party. This time, Anna was so awkward. He was seen occasionally stealing a glance at him as if busy concentrating on his laptop when in fact Theo was turning on the video feature and was busy observing Anna from his laptop screen. "Ehem..." Theo cleared his throat while closing his laptop and focused on seeing his interlocutor.

Anna was surprised by the voice Theo made. Surely he was a little dreamy earlier so he did not realize that his interview was finished with his busyness. He was embarrassed because his interviewer had to cleared his throat to make him focus.

"My name is Annamarie Hayden, just call me Anna. I came in response to an email saying that I had to take an interview at the Maxwell Company building at this hour, am I right?" said Anna introduced herself while making sure.

"Yes" Theo replied briefly. He got up and walked towards Anna.

Anna realized that her interviewing man was very tall. Not only tall but also incredibly handsome. He looks like a kid next to her. Anna stood up as the man stood beside her chair.

"Greetings, Mr. Maxwell."

Anna shook Theo's hand with her tiny hand.

There was a foreign vibration radiating in Theo's heart as his hand came into contact with Anna. Just by shaking hands, Theo felt Anna clutching his heart. The sensation was so beautiful that he refused to let go of his grasp.

Anna simply looked down in embarrassment as Theo did not let go of her handshake.

When Theo let go of his hand, he immediately sat down on the chair beside Anna and did not return to the table.

"I need a housekeeper at my house. Since I'm so busy, I'm sorry if we talked about this in my office. How about we talk about it over lunch."

"Here is enough, thank you," replied Anna. He felt that here was enough. No need to cross the line.

"I'm pushy" Theo said as he looked at Anna expectantly.

"Ah, well," said Anna at last. It was quite wrong with that invitation. He hoped Theo wasn't playing him.

"Look, you didn't even finish your snack. I want you to eat enough if you have to work with me. I'm afraid you've fallen ill with this body," Theo said, pointing to the food being intact.

Anna was a little uncomfortable being commented on about her body. He felt doubtful about not being able to work hard with this body.

"Don't worry Mr. Maxwell. I used to work hard and I was very diligent" Anna assured Theo.

"I believe that, but by the way call me Theo, I don't want to be called like the company name. Moreover, we will work in a private room so there is no need to be formal."

Anna nodded.

"My assistant, Amber will make a cooperation agreement. Amber will send it via email. You can learn it later before signing it."

Again Anna could only nod.

Theo then hints at Anna to follow him. Anna also complied. They walked outside the building. Everyone who passed Theo no matter the young old all lowered their heads. Say hello politely. Anna saw that this person who was going to be her boss was truly an extraordinary person.

This time Anna was in the car which made her very awkward. Sitting with his would-be boss in an extraordinarily luxurious car. Cathy's car is a luxury, but it's like a car that really doesn't need money. No wonder the CEO of a company as big as Maxwell Company is indeed very rich.

"Something's bothering you?” ask Theo. “You can say it now," he continued as he activated the barrier so the driver didn't hear what they were talking about.

"Where are we going?" asked Anna innocently.

"Lunch on."

"Where?"

"In my house."

Anna immediately panicked and unconsciously bit her lower lip.

Theo saw it and it made him uncomfortable. He wanted to bite those thin lips as well.

"Can you not bite your lips, it bothers me a little."

"Sorry" Anna replied. He himself did not even realize how he could end up biting his lips. It was beyond his consciousness.

"No need to apologize."

The car stopped at an unusually large house. Anna wails. This must be the reason the payment is so expensive. Because it has to be cleaned a lot. Anna was pensive until Theo invited her in. They headed straight for the spacious back porch. There is a large swimming pool with beautiful garden views.

A middle-aged woman came to greet Theo.

"Welcome, young master. Who's this beautiful lady with?" she reached out to Anna.

Anna welcomed the woman's hand and introduced herself.

"my name is Annamarie Hayden. Just call Anna, greetings."

"I'm Paula, Aunt Paula. The butler's here."

Anna nodded.

"Please prepare us lunch" Theo ordered.

Aunt Paula nodded then left the two of them in the garden chair. There's a big pool like Cathy's. It must be fresh if swimming there in the hot afternoon weather.

"I'll drive you around until the food is ready" Theo said, hinting at Anna to follow him.

"This is my favorite place, he said pointing to a chair beside the park. I used to spend time reading books here."

There were many rooms in this house and Anna could not remember them all. Of the many he saw that most interested him was his boss' bedroom. The room was amazingly large and luxurious. The design is masculine and perfectly fits portraying a Theo. But what was surprising was that Anna would occupy the room next to Theo's room.

"There's a lot of guest rooms, why do I have to be here?" asked Anna did not understand, maybe he was presumptuous because he asked but he was really not out of thought.

"I recruited you personally, I want you to take care of my needs."

Before Anna asked me anything else. Another young servant approached them saying that lunch was ready. Anna swallowed another question that hung on her lips. All right, let's see what happens tomorrow.
