As pretty as a Butterfly
Chapters 108. Legacy.

Opa Wijaya was so happy when he saw Wiliam and Jelita coming to visit his residence.

The lonely old man immediately welcomed his two special guests who had just arrived.

"Oh Wiliamku, Opa's brash grandson finally came to also bring Opa's beautiful granddaughter-in-law. Please enter the grandchildren of Opa," welcome Opa Wijaya while relying on Jelita and also William to enter together.

Jelita and Wiliam smiled, then changed to lead Opa Wijaya together. "Thank you Opa. Let's go in together" they replied, then sat down together in the living room.

The two beads of Opa Wijaya's eyes immediately glared, as he looked at Wiliam and Jelita who looked closer.

"Opa was very happy to see you guys coming to visit, especially Wiliam coming with you Jelita. Now tell Opa what's the point of you coming here?" ask Opa Wijaya.

William smiled and looked at Jelita who was also staring at him. They then took turns staring at Opa Wijaya and that made Opa increasingly curious.

"Come on, kid, don't make Opa curious like this. And Jelita why are you so embarrassed?" tanya Opa Wijaya pasted Jelita's face bowed.

"Opa ... We have happy news for you" replied Wiliam.

"Happy news, what is Wiliam? Was your contract with that client a huge success?" tanya Opa.

William smiled again. "It's not just a contract with our client that succeeds Opa, but Jelita and I have decided to get married next year."

Opa Wijaya propped up for a moment, hearing the shocking statement from his grandson. He could not speak because he was so happy.

"Is that really true, you're getting married next year and not waiting for Jelita to graduate first?" tanya Opa Wijaya.

Wiliam and Jelita nodded together and answered Opa's question in a compact manner. "True Opa," they answered.

Opa Wijaya began to cry bitterly, not expecting what his own sense of hearing had heard when he knew that a happy day in his life would happen in the near future.

"You're not lying to Opa, are you?" tanya Opa Wijaya still could not believe it.

"Opa, this news is true. We will get married next year and we plan to get married in mid-January" Wiliam said.

"Mid of January next year? That means just a few more months for Wiliam. Then we have to prepare everything from now on," said Opa Wijaya, he was so passionate when he heard the impromptu but encouraging news.

"Yes Opa, because early January, Jelitaku is already 20 years old. So I think he's old enough to get married and about the event, we'll both take care of him" replied Wiliam, he looked at Jelita who was still silent and embraced it. "It's not so my jelly."

Jelita nodded immediately. "What Wiliam said was true Opa, so Opa did not need to worry or bother himself. Let us both take care of it."

"Where Opa might just shut up Jelita, this has entered the end of September, less than 4 months away to your wedding day. Opa should help, at least make a guest list. And find the right date for you in that month, place and so forth," said Opa Wijaya so excited.

Who marries him who is passionate, that's how it is today and Wiliam is so happy when he sees Opanya is also happy.

...***...

After a long time they talked about the wedding plans and also looking for a good day and date, Wiliam and Jelita finally asked for permission to go home.

But Opa Wijaya immediately held them before leaving his house.

"You two wait here for a moment, there's something Opa wants to give you Jelita," said Opa and took something from his room.

"Okay Opa" replied Jelita.

While waiting for her grandfather to go pick something up, Wiliam teases Jelita back. "Dark ... Tell me, where do you want your honeymoon?" asked Wiliam while raising both eyebrows many times.

Jelita hits Wiliam's arm. "You're! This month is not over yet, you have even asked for a honeymoon that is still far away. You're a bitch," he replied sniffly.

Wiliam chuckles. "Why, what's wrong with that? I just want to know where you want to do that, because when we do that later. You will surely scream when you see my snake" replied Wiliam.

Wiliam laughed loosely, feeling very happy to tease Jelita. "Ah you're this, just making me anxious. It's better I don't have to answer, let you get curious."

"No answer is fine, I'm not interested in your snake" Jelita said.

Wiliam shook his head while chuckling amusedly, it turns out that his future wife is really innocent once and it successfully adds to Wiliam's impatience with Jelita's reaction later.

Not long after that meaningless conversation stopped, when he saw Opa Wijaya coming back to them.

The old grandfather was walking in waves while carrying a box containing bracelets belonging to his previous family relics.

"Jelita, this is for you, accept it" said Opa Wijaya as he gave her a valuable box.

"Is this Opa?" ask Jelita.

"This is the treasure of the Vijaya family, used by my wife and passed to my daughter-in-law, her mother Wiliam. But after my son-in-law died, this treasure returned to me and I am very grateful to have obtained the successor of this family legacy," replied Opa Wijaya then gave it to Wiliam to be worn to Jelita.

"Wiliam put this bracelet on to your future wife" advises Opa Wijaya.

William nodded in understanding, then put the bracelet on Jelita's left wrist.

As long as William put the bracelet on his wrist, Jelita stared at Wiliam's face without blinking. The gentle smile of the man was able to make himself drift in daydreams.

"Eh if you look around, he's handsome too huh," Jelita murmured inwardly.

Wiliam smiled then looked at Jelita who was daydreaming to see herself. "I was handsome a long time ago, there's no need to look at me so hard."

Jelita shook her head quickly. "I'm not daydreaming, just accidentally seeing you," she told a lie.

"God! Already caught red-handed not wanting to confess. Okay it's done, it turns out this bracelet is very suitable in your hands," said Wiliam still holding Jelita's hand.

"Oh yes," he replied clumsyly, then looked at the bracelet in his hand. "It's so pretty" he said again.

"Right, it's beautiful. She is truly beautiful" said Wiliam smiling as he continued to look at Jelita.

Opa Wijaya looked at Wiliam and also Jelita, she was so happy to see the two were so friendly.

"Dark ... Take good care of this Wijaya family legacy, after you have a daughter-in-law later, you can pass this treasure on to him," replied Opa Wijaya.

"Okay Opa, I promise to take good care of your family's legacy" Jelita replied as she continued to look at the gift bracelet from Opa.

"His daughter? That means we have to have children as soon as Jelita, we have to give Opa a lot of great-grandchildren for her" Wiliam said.

"What a child!" peekit Jelita's.

Jelita was wide-eyed and swallowed her hard-earned saliva, when she heard the unfiltered curse of William first. He could only pinch Wiliam's stomach with his head bowed, hiding his already flushed face in embarrassment.

Meanwhile Opa Wijaya just laughs at Jelita's clumsiness, while hitting Wiliam's shoulder sign in agreement with what his own grandson said.

That's right said William, Jelita. After you get married later, give a lot of great-grandchildren to Opa" Opa said.
