Chapter 22. Floren's cunning tricks.

"Florence!" michael and Mrs Berta said at the same time.

"Mommy ...."

Floren put on a smile and walked slowly towards her mother. But while walking past Michael, Floren accidentally banged his shoulder into the handsome man's body. Looking for a way to lose balance and in the end he managed to fall down.

"Florence!" shrieked Madame Berta and the others together.

But because of Michael's excellent reflexes, both hands quickly grabbed his waist and one of Floren's wrists. The deft Michael managed to hold Floren's body from falling down with a little soft hold.

The quick incident made them pause for a moment, Michael and Floren looked at each other. But when Floren smiled faintly at him, Michael immediately let go of his arms.

All who saw let out a sigh of relief and were grateful that Floren had not fallen to the floor because of Michael's quick help.

"Thank you Mike, if not helped by you I might have fallen down earlier," Floren said, patting his chest softly and sighing.

"Truely Michael thanks for saving our beloved daughter," said Mrs Berta chimed in while looking at her child's entire body afraid that someone might be hurt.

"Together Aunt, there is no need to hesitate."

"Yes let's resume dinner tonight, Michael you also please sit back," said Mr. Wijaksana.

"Okay Om ...."

Michael sat down again, and so did Floren. Now they sat facing each other, together throwing smiles at each other with hidden intentions.

"This is just the beginning of Mike's start, you'll get a lot of surprises after this" Floren murmured.

"You deliberately bumped into me and pretended to fall in front of everyone to draw my sympathies. I admit your acting skills are really good, Flo, I don't know what you mean by doing it all. But one thing is for sure I will not go along with your will just like that" Michael murmured inwardly.

Shortly after, the dinner resumes and Mrs Berta introduces her daughter to Michael's parents.

"Mrs ... Mr ... This is the beautiful princess I meant earlier, she is my son her name is Floren ... Floren now greet them," said Mrs Berta.

"Np ... Aunt ... I'm Floren, Michael's classmate," Floren said with a smile.

"You are so beautiful Floren" Mrs Caca told Floren.

"True, your daughter is beautiful" Nael told Floren's parents.

"Thank you Om, Auntie." Floren blushed in embarrassment and glanced at Michael who was watching Floren's unusual behavior.

"Master Wijaksana, we're almost done with dinner. Can you explain the purpose and purpose of inviting my family? Does this have anything to do with business?" ask Mr. Nael.

Mr. Wijaksana gave a smile. "True Mr. Nael, I just want to invite cooperation. You know my fancy restaurant and some of our family-owned hotels have been so successful. What if you invested in one of my businesses, we would promise you a huge profit" said Mr. Wijaksana.

"How much do you want and what percentage of profit will I get after investing my capital in your business?" ask Mr. Nael.

"500 billion and 10 percent profit" replied Mr. Wijaksana.

"No, Mr. Wijaksana is too small, if you want I can invest 500 billion right now, but with a 30 percent profit instead. If I can't, I'll refuse." replied Mr. Nael.

"You're so smart, Mr. Nael, I agree. But sir, I have one condition to agree to all of that" said Mr. Wijaksana.

"What is Mr Wijaksana?"

"What if Michael becomes my son-in-law? Your son is so handsome and my daughter is also beautiful, they look good. What if we unite them together, surely they will be the most coveted couple by all couples" replied Mr. Wijaksana.

"True Master and Madam, what harm would it do if we put them together. We are both from well-known and respected families, if our families join. Isn't that very good Mrs Caca," said Mrs Berta chimed.

Michael was surprised, he immediately stopped his dinner and looked at Floren who was still sitting quietly like nothing had happened.

"Sneaky tricks to tie a relationship," murmured Michael inwardly.

The Madam and the Great Lord then looked at her displeased son.

"Sorry Mr. Wijaksana, I cannot decide. For this personal matter, you can ask Michael directly, "the great sir replied.

"True Mr and Mrs Berta are sorry to offend you, but we have promised Michael in advance not to interfere much on matters of romance as well as his personal life. We also set her free to find her own woman of her choice" the Great Lady said.

The look on the faces of the Floren family instantly turned irritated, yet they still did not give up so easily.

"Oh so yes, well I will ask Michael," replied Mrs Berta.

"Michael, I heard you had a problem yesterday on campus, a janitor tried to seduce you into getting you caught in a complicated situation. Floren says that the girl is like blackmailing you and asking you to pay off the amount of debt that is not small," Mrs Berta said, smiling at Michael.

Michael's parents were shocked. "You didn't tell us, baby. Is that true?" ask Mrs Caca.

Michael clenched his hand tightly. "No Mami, I think Floren misheard."

"Mike, you don't keep protecting that girl, she's very cunning and parasitic. I know you must be ashamed of yesterday's incident, where the inappropriate video was spread all over campus. But I trust you Mike, you can't do that dirty thing because it's for sure that lowly woman has trapped you" Floren said, trying to provoke Michael's emotions.

Michael's parents who were listening were a little confused by the conversation. "Dirty video, what does Michael mean and who is that lowly girl Floren meant?" mrs Caca asked a little worriedly.

Michael didn't answer he just let out a long sigh, then Michael got up from his chair and immediately pulled Floren's arm away from his parents for a while.

"Flo, if you want to talk about this. Please don't be in front of my family!" said Michael.

"Where do you want to take me?" ask Floren.

"Follow it!"

Upon arrival at a restaurant park, Michael let go of Floren's hand so violently that Floren fell on the bench of the park.

"Aw, Mike why are you so rude!" shout Floren.

Michael gritted his teeth, then approached while bending his body like a Floren cradle sitting on the garden bench.

"You ... What do you want?" ask Michael.

Floren put on a smile, then shamelessly poked his hands against Michael's neck. Floren slightly pulled Michael to get closer to his face, until the distance between the two is now only a few centimeters.

"I want you Mike" Floren answered and tried to kiss Michael.

Michael immediately pulled himself up and stood before Floren while staring at the brash woman before him. While Floren only chuckled at Michael's annoyed expression.

"Mike, you're so handsome. Look, Mike, I'm not gonna bother you. You have to propose to me and make me my fiancee in front of our parents, then I won't say anything to your family."

Michael grew furious. "You think I'm gonna agree to it huh!" you think I'd be scared of your threats?"

Floren. "You're still stubborn."

Floren then took his cell phone and showed it with a photo and video to Michael. Michael was surprised by Floren.

"Syall!"

Michael then grabbed Floren's phone and deleted it quickly, but Floren just laughed at it all.

"Mike, are you so scared or stupid? you think by removing all that then I'll lose the others?" said Floren to make Michael die of lice.

"What do you mean?" ask Michael.

"Dear Mike, I've asked someone for help. He also holds these embarrassing videos and photos, I just have to contact the person then everything will be uploaded on the internet."

Michael clutched Floren's shoulder. "You're so cunning, use this way."

Floren smiled, then pulled Michael's waist with both hands until they were close together almost touching.

"I don't care Mike, all I care about right now is that you have to accept our new relationship."

"No will! you're so disgusting" said Michael.

Floren then poked both of his hands around Michael's neck and said, "Mike remember this dear ... Just by moving one finger then all your photos and videos yesterday will be uploaded and widely spread on the internet. Just imagine how if all that happened, your family's good name would be tainted. Not only that, Mike, what about the fate of your honorable family that will be humiliated by many."

Michael was silent for a moment thinking about all that, he was very upset by Floren's actions were so low. But the honor and happiness of his family is the most important to Michael.

"Well, I'll propose to you in front of our family."
