CHAPTER 11. Jihan Escape Again

"Boss, you haven't come home yet?" Riky asked as soon as he saw his boss still struggling with some documents and files scattered on the table.

"Hm." Sami replied with a murmur without looking. He is focusing on studying some files. It's all gonna be over tonight.

"It's almost dark boss. You still want to be here?" Riky said with a worried tone. Not usually at this time his boss did not want to move from the office. Something seems wrong but Riky tries not to interfere too much.

"If you're done first, Ki. It's okay."

"Okay boss. If there's anything I standby." Pamit Riky before passing by after closing the door. Leaving the leader who is still struggling with some files that accumulate on the work table. I don't know when it will be finished.

After almost an hour had passed, Sami suddenly remembered Jihan. He glanced at the watch on his left wrist. It's almost eight o'clock. It was time to return to the Thamrin apartment to see the condition of the girl. Sami had not seen Jihan for more than a week after she agreed to stay in Sami's apartment. It feels like Sami has missed the girl's sweet face so much.

Sami turned off the lights in the office. Grabbing the car keys and darting out of there. Split the street to find Jihan in the apartment. Sami can't wait to see Jihan tonight. He rode his iron horse towards Kebon Kacang Raya road.

It didn't take long for Sami to get to their apartment. When he reached the corridor of the fifteen-story building Sami directly entered the elevator. Incidentally also the atmosphere of the apartment was not too crowded. Sami was able to get into the restroom faster, which was able to take him to the top floor in just seconds.

Sami then turned towards the main room. Door's blown.

"Damn?" Sami tried to call the girl but there was no word. The bathroom was empty after checking. The guest room makes no difference. Sami didn't find Jihan anywhere. Where's the girl? Where's he been this late? Is he still doing any activity out there? Cannot be. Sami clearly forbade her from returning to work. He had given a magic card to the girl the other day to meet Jihan's needs. There's no way he's back at work. Is that girl still on campus? That's impossible too. What courses did he attend at this late hour? Sami breathed a rough breath. Then without a second thought he stepped out of the room to look for the girl. But as it was about to pass from the door, Sami's eyes caught a piece of paper lying on a small table near the entrance.

Sami then grabbed the paper with lightning speed. Read the writing there. Instantly the handsome face instantly turned increasingly cold. The paper crumpled to shapelessness in Sami's grasp in just seconds.

Sami was stunned for a moment. Trying to digest what's going on. He tried to think clearly. Take a deep breath. Review what happened between him and Jihan. Where did the girl go? How could he make such a foolish decision?. Sami then grabbed the device in his pocket. Squeeze the number two on the phone screen. Before long the number was connected to the assistant mainstay. Riky's voice was heard from across the street.

"Yes boss."

"Ki, Jihan's missing. Please find the girl immediately."

"Oh okay boss." Riky seemed to understand what was going on. No need for further explanation, Riky immediately moved quickly. As if he understood what he should do.

Sami breathed a rough breath. He doesn't think about Jihan. What exactly is on the girl's mind? Does he intend to escape again? How could his mind be that small? That girl is stubborn. He was confused how to deal with Jihan. It must be how else he behaves so that the girl understands if Sami really needs her. Sami wanted the girl by his side. Sami has really fallen in love with Jihan. He was enamored with all the simplicity of the girl. With all his innocence. In a very simple way of life. How he looks at life.
