CHAPTER 12. Looking for Jihan

Sami took a deep breath. Rubbing the face with both palms. He feels bored. This piled up document was like endless. His mind had started thinking about the many files he had to sign as the owner of the company. The textile business he lived in made him have to focus on paying attention to all the ins and outs related to textile products and materials and their quality. Not to mention the welfare of the employees and some factories that he has in several big cities. Coupled with her domestic problems with Nayla and Jihan's disappearance, Sami's head throbbed even more. What's he supposed to do? Where else should he find the girl? It's been almost over a week but Jihan hasn't found it yet. Sami breathed a rough breath. He took off the glasses that were perched sweetly on his big nose.

"Where, Ki? Any updates?" Sami asked as soon as the phone was connected to the secretary. Sami has contacted Riky more than three times to ask about Jihan. 

"Not boss. They're still looking. Are you still in the office?" Riky asked back. He should have known the answer to the question but still the question was thrown out of his mouth. The worry of the boss made his heart unsettled. It's been a few days since he noticed Sami's boss always drowning himself in work. His heart must have been very upset at the thought of the young woman he met at the entertainment venue that night. LC girl who has managed to steal half her heart. I don't know where the girl is now. Why did he run away from a man like his boss who was much targeted by women. If not insane, the girl must be very stupid because she could not see the charm of a Sami Mahendra.

"I'm still in the office. If there's any new news, just let me know." Tukas Sami before turning off the cell phone. 

"Okay boss." Riky's final answer before the conversation ended. Sami breathed a heavy sigh. His head is getting dizzy. He no longer knows what to do. Until how long he had to be patient waiting for certainty to get information about the girl. Jehan is like a lost cloud. It was as if it had vanished in the swallow of the earth. Where is he hiding? Sami was sure that the girl would not be able to go far given the difficulties of life that he lived. 

Without a second thought Sami darted out of the office. Leaving behind some unfinished documents he checked. His brain was already deadlocked because it had been overrun by Jihan. In that instant Sami decided to find the girl's existence. He could not stay silent by just waiting like a fool. The first place that popped into his head was the old boarding house of Jihan. Yep. Sami's gonna find Jihan there. Wanted to check for Jihan's whereabouts in the room.

Within minutes Sami had managed to set foot there but the results were nil. The room is empty. No more of Jihan's stuff left. Sami just remembered that the girl he had forced to move into the apartment two weeks ago. Of course there's no trace of Jihan there. Stupidly Sami doesn't remember that. 

Sami breathed a heavy sigh. Trying to reach for the phone to call Jihan again. A second later Sami heard the operator's sentence stating the intended number was out of reach. The girl's phone could not be reached. It's certain that he turned it off on purpose so Sami can't reach him. You stupid girl. Sami cursed Jihan in his heart. He hit the steering wheel with his hand because he was unable to resist the annoyance.

Dizziness circling around the Menteng area, Sami slid to the north. Don't know where else to look for Jihan. His car continues to trace the district of Gambir. Around Merdeka square. Pass through the national museum and museum Taman Inscription. Sami continues down the bustling Pecenongan street providing a variety of classic dishes. He then stopped on one side of the road right in a cafe that provides a menu of fried chicken. Somehow he became tasteful when he saw the chicken menu listed on the cafe billboard. Sami got out of his vehicle suddenly feeling hungry.

"Thank you, ma'am." Said Sami after receiving the package of orders that he had requested before. He then turned around to immediately go home with fried chicken sambal ijo sauce that made his appetite suddenly rise drastically. Do not know why suddenly he wanted to taste the chili chili menu ijo. He usually doesn't like it. As he was about to exit the entrance of the cafe, Sami accidentally hit someone. Almost the plastic bag he was carrying fell.

"Oh sorry mas." Said the girl when she realized she had accidentally nudged someone. He apologized without seeing who he had hit. The sturdy body was too tall that he did not intend to find out the man's face. Sami turned his head for a moment when he heard the soft voice of a girl. Like a stranger in his ears. The girl wearing the hoodie just passed by after saying that short sentence but before she could get away, Sami had already intercepted her arm.

"Mas Sam's.." Jihan stuttered immediately. Eyes rounded. He immediately rebelled from Sami's hand. Intend to get back to running. Didn't expect the man to find her in this place.

"Wait Jihan. You don't go anymore." Said Sami trying to hold the frail body. 

"Lepasin. Please let me go." Said Jihan with all her might trying to remove the man's hand from her arm. Several pairs of eyes now noticed the scene of the attraction of the love duo. Some of them looked at them with strange eyes. Sami doesn't care. He was already quite relieved to finally accidentally be able to find JIhan here. It seems like the universe has given Sami his blessing to find the girl after almost a crazy week more unable to track down Jihan's whereabouts. Today no matter what happens Sami won't let go.

Not gonna. It will not take you off. Why did you leave? Why did you run away from the mas? Do you still not understand if you are serious with you. Why are you so stubborn?" Sami tightly grasped both of Jihan's shoulders. The girl looked at Sami with her eyes already spread. His chest already felt tight. He had tried to run away from Sami but still the man could find him. 

"We can't be with us. I don't deserve you. You can't be with me either. Remember, you are not alone anymore. Our condition is equally impossible to coalesce." Said Jihan with a voice that began to tremble. It felt like I was enduring that heartache. He escapes from Sami, believing they will never be together. He tried to kill the love that had also been blooming after they accidentally intend to do the forbidden relationship. But Jihan regained her senses if she had done anything stupid. He must return to reality if his relationship with this married man is impossible. Moreover, he has also been working in night entertainment. The harsh reality he had to accept. He can't squint his eyes.

"What is impossible? Have you forgotten what we did? Did you forget?" Sami stared intently at the bead of the girl's eyes. He tried to go back to struggling. 

"Forget it. Lupain all. I'm..." Not yet had Jihan completed the sentence of denial unexpectedly everything suddenly turned dark. 

"Damn...Jihan" Sami panicked instantly. Jihan limbung was unconscious in the man's embrace. 

What happened to Jihan? Why did he suddenly faint unconscious??
