CHAPTER 22. DIVORCE PLANS

Sami just parked his car in the office parking lot. Just about to open the door, he felt the shakes of his phone from inside the vest he was wearing. Sami grabbed the flat object while closing the car door. He saw it was an incoming call from Naya. Sami let out a long sigh as he answered the call from the woman who was still his legal wife.

"What else is Naya?" Sami asked in her cool style. He was able to remain calm after what had happened. Although the woman had made half her heart freeze, Sami still could not care for the woman who had given her one daughter. Sami let out a heavy sigh as soon as he heard Naya's soft voice from across there.

"Where are you? I want to talk to you."

"Speak what else Nay? I explained everything yesterday. Do you still not understand?" Denying Sami. He nodded his head which began to throb. Sami's mood dropped immediately upon hearing the sentence he had just heard Naya's mouth.

"We're not finished yet. It's not that easy to ask me to separate. I'll explain it to you. Listen to me first mas." Pinta Naya with a trembling voice. His voice sounded choked. Sami closed his eyes to hear the voice of the wife who began to sob. His heart ached hearing that stuffing.

"That's Nay. End your charade. I'll take care of our farewells soon. Had enough. Don't cry anymore. Free Nay." Pinta Sami with her flat tone. He was forced with a heavy heart to utter that sentence. Although it sounds very cruel, Sami is still unable to tolerate everything that the woman has done behind her back. The disgusting activity that Naya has done for years without her knowing is enough to make her determination to be unanimous to end all the turmoil of her household that has long been buffeted by storms in the middle of the ocean. 

Coupled with the sins he had committed with Jihan that added his disgust to himself. He was also guilty of adding to the complex problems of his household, which was like a tangled thread. Jihan already contains her seed now. He took away the sanctity of the girl. Inevitably Sami must immediately take responsibility for what he has done.

Still grateful the girl was willing to accept it to fulfill that responsibility. If Jihan refuses and decides to abort her, Sami will become even worse for being a murderer. The seed is his own flesh and blood. He does not want to be a cowardly man who can only sow seeds without being responsible. Jihan has managed to touch her heart because the girl knows herself enough. He never tried to hold Sami accountable. Even the girl had always refused his presence. 

"Mas.please listen to me.." There was a pleading tone from Naya.

"Nay is enough." Sami ended the call. He breathed heavily. His heart began to fall. He returned to his feet to enter the office. I no longer want to talk to my wife. The longer he listened to Naya's nonsense, the more his heart felt bitter.

Sami released the sky blue vest he was wearing. Throw it just on a small sofa that is behind the partition that becomes a barrier between his work desk with a small room that becomes his personal space to rest from fatigue. His feelings immediately deteriorated after getting a call from his wife. The woman who had betrayed the sacred promise of her marriage first.

Shadows the beautiful face of Naya who get the caress of lust from other men besides her. Sami. How stupid he had not known anything that Naya had done during their many years of marriage. Naya's cold attitude when they do bed activities does not make Sami to think there. Turns out that's the cause.

The woman had lost her passion while with him because she had already enjoyed many touches from foreign men out there. Sami's heart hurt a lot. He then broke. Laughing at how stupid he has been. Sami laughed softly until unconsciously his eyes felt heated. Without realizing it, the clear liquid also decays without permission. He closed his eyes with a burning heart. I can't figure out why the household would be destroyed like this. A moment of adorable beautiful face of her little princess when they spend time together. Sami is sobbing. His heart is very painful. 

Tok.dok...

The knock on the door several times stunned Sami from the sobbing in silence. He hurriedly wiped away the tears dripping down his cheeks. Trying to re-cover the sense of adversity that hit the side of the heart.

"Lake in." Sami from within. The door opened instantly revealing the assistant's face. Riky stepped in while carrying some important files from the outside. He smiled as he looked at the boss who greeted him with a warm face.

"For bosses. Here are some documents you need to sign today. Please check first. There's a smelly offer coming from some client." Said Riky while handing over the files. Sami accepted while nodding in understanding. He grabbed his glasses from the box. 

"Okay boss. What do you want to drink this morning? Orchid Tea what is Flat white?" Ask Riky before it passes. Boss Sami's habit of starting the day. Riky saw that his boss wasn't okay this morning. The cold face looked even more sad. It was obvious that the boss was pretending that nothing had happened but Riky was able to see what was going on. He has been very understanding of the character of his superiors because he has long been a confidant of Sami. Although the boss was trying to keep covering, Riky was able to read just by looking at the leader's body language. Riky already understands the character of Sami's boss.

"Teh Orchid aja Ki." Sami replied in a relaxed tone. He then remained silent for a moment.

"Okay boss." Riky nodded in understanding. He then left Sami.

"Ricky.."Sami called back to the assistant. Riky turned back. His steps stopped instantly when he got the call.

"Yes boss?" Riky asked with a look back at the leader.

"Please call our lawyer. I want to talk about my breakup with Naya." Sami said with a sad feeling. Riky rounded her eyes hearing the sentence she had just heard from her boss.

"Do you want a divorce from the boss?" Riky asked with round eyes. He did not expect Sami to take that step. Sami nodded while sighing heavily. It felt too hard for him to choose that decision but all he had to decide sooner or later. He was no longer able to tolerate what his wife had done behind him. Riky herself had even known about it earlier than herself.

"Yes. Please call our lawyer immediately. I can't wait any longer. You know what I mean?" 

"You sure boss?" Riky repeated the question. He wanted to see the earnestness of his superior once again. Riky knows Sami's boss is serious but he still has to question the decision he will take. Divorce remains the last option for a family relationship that has been established for a long time. Although Riky knew it would happen sooner or later. 

"Please Ki." Sami replied without nodding. Riky took a long breath. He understands now the decision of the leader. He then nodded without asking any further.

"Okay boss. I'll call our lawyer as you ask."

"Thank You Ki."

Sami then saw the assistant coming out of his room with a resigned expression. He knew Riky was quite worried about what was happening in his household with his wife. Riky is the first to figure out the rot that Naya has done. Riky also discovered the fact and he was also the one who finally revealed all the secrets that had been hidden so closely by Naya. Now what can the secretary do besides just being able to see and follow all the requests of the boss with a heart that also feels concerned?

Sami looked back at the files that Riky had just proffered. He grabbed some of the documents but was just about to start opening the first sheet of his phone back to ring. Sami grabbed the flat object without a second thought. When he was about to wipe the screen, he was confused. Sami becomes reluctant when he finds out who the owner of the call is. It becomes obsolete.

Naya is calling. Sami breathed heavily.
