Chapter 39: Stealing Knowledge

"Is he still cultivating?"

Su Ping thought of an idea. His consciousness sneaked silently.

Astral power seeped into Su Lingyue's room from the cracks in the walls and doors like quicksand. The astral force in the other room floated faster, fusing like a vortex.

The center of convergence was a slender figure that could be faintly seen amidst astral forces. It was none other than Su Lingyue.

"Did he also lie on his bed to cultivate?" Su Ping raised his brows as he looked at the figure outlined by astral forces.

Just then, Su Ping noticed that his sister was using a completely different way to absorb astral power.

Inside Su Lingyue's room, she was like the bottom of an hourglass. All the astral forces that flew into his room were withdrawn, gradually forming a vortex. The closer the astral forces are to it, the faster they spin. Finally, all of the astral power was sucked in by his body.

"He absorbs faster and in greater quantities!"

“Does he control the absorption speed?

"Is this what they learned at the Astral Animal Academy?"

Su Ping had tried many methods but failed to speed up the absorption of astral power. He assumed that speed could never be changed. However, Su Lingyue's cultivation revealed to him something new.

While being surprised, Su Ping began to examine his path closely.

Immediately, Su Ping realized that the main location where the astral force was absorbed was the dantian in his stomach. Inside his dantian, there was a small astral power vortex!

This vortex of astral power rotated rapidly, creating a powerful pull that made astral forces beyond its rotation as well. That was how the huge vortex outside of him appeared!

The pull of this external vortex can affect a large area. The astral force that was beyond the reach of his consciousness could be withdrawn as well. They would fly and become part of an external vortex, to be quickly absorbed by Su Lingyue!

“That's because of the pull!”

Su Ping stumbled over that fact.

How easy. Why hadn't he thought about it before?

Indeed, his consciousness could not control the astral forces roaming outside, only the astral forces within him!

"Let me try."

Su Ping pulled his consciousness back into his room, limiting the range of his consciousness to his bed.

He controlled all of the vortexes within all of the original nuclei in his cell to spin rapidly.

Buzz!

Suddenly, it was as if a storm had appeared beside his bed out of nowhere. The sheets start to float as a result.

The free astral force that floated towards Su Lingyue's room was instantly disrupted. It slipped irregularly into Su Ping's body in a chaotic state.

"What?"

Su Ping was surprised. He immediately stopped the round.

“Astral power is in chaos. Is it because too many puller sources make a mess?” Su Ping frowned. All the swirls that revolved in its original core confused the ethereal astral force.

After some thought, Su Ping decided to copy Su Lingyue's method, creating a huge vortex somewhere inside her body.

Whooshing sound!

The astral force that was slowly moving towards Su Lingyue's room suddenly stopped. Under the effect of the pull, the astral force turned around and flew towards Su Ping dantian on his stomach while moving in the form of a vortex.

"understand!"

Right now, he realized that all the astral forces from Su Lingyue's room were being pulled, lump by wisp.

"Pull my vortex stronger than his?"  Su Ping was surprised. He stopped at once.

"What?"

While in his room, lying on the bed as he was cultivating and reading at the same time, Su Lingyue was startled by the sudden tremors in the astral power vortex outside her.

When he stopped to pay closer attention, the vortex had already returned to normal. He thought he was having an illusion.

"Snack." Su Lingyue was confused but she did not think too much about it because everything had returned to normal. He holds a pillow and Snowball to return to his book world.

It was not a boring reading material, or he would not continue reading with the light of a lamp. It was one of his favorite teen comics with really vibrant stories.

Unlike the other girls, she is not interested in TV romances, movies or comics. After all, with such a bad brother, any fantasies he had about boys had been completely destroyed!

"Didn't he feel it?"

Su Ping did not see the reaction from his sister. He blinked. Therefore, he could try something else.

After observing the cultivation methodology that Su Lingyue had learned in the academy, Su Ping's mind opened wide in the field of astral force cultivation.

Since he could create a vortex within him to absorb and cultivate astral power, perhaps, he could create an inverted vortex. He wondered what he would do.

"Let's see."

With the experience of cultivating the "Chaos Star Chart," Su Ping became very skilled in creating "vorticity." He controlled his range of consciousness around him no more than a bed. Then, he quickly reversed the direction of the spinning vortex.

Soon, there was one more vortex in his dantian. This vortex did not attract astral power. Instead, a vortex pushed astral forces away. He was inside an area that had no astral power.

“As I thought.”

Su Ping was quite right. He's very excited. While the power-free area seems useless, this is a successful attempt.

The astral force that was pushed away flew into Su Lingyue's room faster than before, which shocked Su Ping. He had a fresh idea in mind.

"If so, with two swirls ..."

Su Ping blinked. The idea is difficult but it makes it a challenge.

He immediately took action.

First, he would start with a small-scale experiment…

Immediately, Su Ping created two vortexes within him, one in the front, one in the back, one spinning forward, and the other in the opposite direction.

In the air outside the wall behind him, a large amount of free astral force was drawn onto his back but he did not absorb it. It was released from his chest.

His body was like a bridge where astral forces met, to then send it in clumps.

The astral force that had been compressed within Su Ping became more concentrated and was pulled into the vortex within Su Lingyue's room.

"Huh?"

Su Lingyue, who was reading the comics, suddenly felt a warmth spreading in her stomach. That's pretty comfortable. He felt warm all over his body, as if he was in a hot spring. He could only hum comfortably.

When a voice came out of his mouth, he regained his senses. He tried to feel it carefully. To his surprise, he was surrounded by this warmth as the astral force became deeper several times all of a sudden!

"What the hell is going on?"

Su Lingyue sat down, surprised. Why did the astral powers become richer all of a sudden?
