Chapter 59: Tiger Scales Tapir

They stepped into the center of the campground and stood under the space crack.

“Try to follow.”

Lin Mokong jumped straight into the space crack in the sky without looking back. Soon, he disappeared inside.

Fan Ganglie reminded Fan Yujing, “This is Brother Su's first time here. Take care of him."

With that said, Fan Ganglie jumped into the space crack as well.

Li Ying followed him closely.

Fan Yujing told Su Ping, "After you."

Su Ping took a close look at the space crack. Making sure that it was free from danger, he jumped into that crack.

As he dove into that vortex, Su Ping felt that space and time were changing. It was very similar to what he experienced when he entered the cultivation plane.

Suddenly, he landed on the ground and felt a weight lifted from his body. Finally, Su Ping could see the scenery around him. There were people rushing to and fro behind the space crack. They are explorers of other teams.

Su Ping looked up. It was a crystal-clear galaxy above his head. Beyond the atmospheric layers, there are several stars and planets of different sizes and distances. Clearly, this must be the unknown world that Fan Yujing mentioned.

The place is dark. It was also night in that world.

Fortunately, after all was said and done, Su Ping was a fighting pet fighter with better visual senses than the others. He could see something within 30 meters. But he only saw a fuzzy object outside the 30-meter mark.

Whooshing sound!

With a flash of light, Fan Yujing also came.

Everyone is there. Fan Ganglie took out a map from his backpack. “This is the latest map of the area we have explored. This is the place we visited the last time we came here. The Blood Fox is missing here. Let's go and search.”

Everyone looked at the map, trying to remember the layout and the signs.

Su Ping was confident that the price of the map was high. He looked closely and recalled all the routes and lines depicted.

For now, no one knew how vast the world within this space crack was. If possible, Su Ping would stay away from the dark areas recorded on the map, as they were still unexplored.

Lin Mokong asked, "Li Ying is in charge of reconnaissance, right?"

Li Ying nodded. He called out to the scout bird from before. The bird dived into the night sky ahead.

Lin Mokong asked another question, "Where is the furthest place the bird can reach?"

Li Ying replied, "About 7,500 meters."

"Only 7,500 meters ..." Lin Mokong frowned. Compared to what his team scouts could do, this distance was quite short. Because of that, Li Ying was only a mid-level battle pet warrior. Lin Mokong couldn't ask her too much.

The first one then said to Fan Ganglie, "Let's spread out, huh?"

"sure." Fan Ganglie thought the same thing. He called out to the big wolf, his body was completely black. This was a Bloodthirsty Demon Wolf with a bloodline of the seventh rank, extremely aggressive and suitable for battles at night. It was an adult animal, judging from its size, unlike the still-growing pets used by students in the academy.

Lin Mokong looked at this Bloodthirsty Demonic Wolf. He raised his hand and summoned a python that was over 10 meters long. This is Python Codson. Although it was a python, it was extremely poisonous, one of the most difficult types to deal with among all seventh rank pets.

Fan Ganglie and the others looked worried when they saw this huge python. Li Ying and Fan Yujing in particular, they seemed to be afraid and reluctant to be near this python.

Usually ferocious and bloodthirsty pets like pythons will easily get out of control. With their abilities, it could instantly kill them easily after becoming a frenzy.

They truly believed in Lin Mokong's abilities; he would not lose control of a seventh rank pet. That being said, this is a matter of life and death. No one can be careless.

They have to admit that Codson Python is intimidating. The moment it appeared, explorers from other teams cleared their way out of instinct.

"Let's go!" Fan Ganglie yelling.

The Codson Python and the Bloodthirsty Demon Wolf set off side by side and dashed into the darkness ahead.

Ever since they entered the space crack, Su Ping had become extremely cautious. His mind was more focused than when he was on the cultivation plane. He expanded his sense range to his limit in order to sense the surroundings, rather than relying on the information gathered by Li Ying alone.

Li Ying told the team all of a sudden, "There's an unknown Astral Pet ahead."

He could only distinguish the number and size of the Astral Pets from the information conveyed by the bird, but not the species.

Fan Ganglie hoped that no unexpected problems would arise. He asked, "Is there any other way?"

Li Ying closed her eyes and opened them a moment later. “All other routes have Astral Pets there, more than one.”

Lin Mokong proposes, “Then, let's go and take a look. We will retreat if it is an advanced Astral Pet.”

Fan Ganglie was not against this. It was a simple decision. He thought about doing the same.

Soon, they were near the area. A pet giant star the size of an elephant was found in a forest lake in front of them, drinking water by the lake.

Fan Ganglie took out something like a night vision device from his backpack. He looked and said in relief, "That is the Sixth rank Tiger Scale Tapir."

"Kill it." Lin Mokong went on to make a quick decision.

Fan Ganglie nodded and was ready to get involved. But Su Ping frowned. Something felt wrong to him. Seeing Fan Ganglie was about to take action, Su Ping stopped him. "Wait a minute."

"What?"

Fan Ganglie turned around and looked at Su Ping in confusion.

Lin Mokong knit his brows. He turned around to look at Su Ping as well. He did not have a good feeling for this new person who had no experience in exploring the unclaimed land. If Su Ping was unable to come up with anything useful, Lin Mokong would have told him to keep his mouth shut for the rest of the trip.

Su Ping asked Fan Ganglie, “Did you get a clear view? Is that Tiger Scales Tapir?”

Fan Ganglie was surprised by the question. He replied with a frown, "It's midnight, but I can see it clearly."

"Let me see." Su Ping asked to borrow the night vision device.

"Are you making a fuss or are you afraid to die?" Lin Mokong pulled a long face and glared at Su Ping with her ice-cold eyes.

Li Ying was also unhappy. Clearly, Su Ping was worried that the beast was not the Tiger Scales Tapir but something else. How shy is Su Ping! Moreover, Li Ying was confident that their captain would never lie or brag about anything he was unsure of. Otherwise, they would lose their lives many times!

Fan Yujing was embarrassed. He whispered to Su Ping to persuade him, "Brother Su, the captain must have seen it clearly."

"true." Fan Ganglie was very confident about the pet she had just seen. Moreover, he was certain that his eyes were no worse than Su Ping's. If he made a mistake, then Su Ping could not possibly know!

Su Ping's face was clouded as he heard their words.

This was the decisive thing in his life. He will not pretend at this time.

His eyes were cold as he glared, focusing an emotionless look at Lin Mokong. “Fear of death? Do all explorers act like you? Just forward forward without thinking, like a fool?”

Lin Mokong was furious. "What did you just say?"

If not for Su Ping gaze that made his heart tremble, Lin Mokong would definitely pull his dagger right then and there.

Su Ping eyes were as cold as possible. “Sense temperature. During this season, if I remember correctly, the Tiger Scales Tapir will not come out for no reason.

“In addition, the Tiger Scales Tapir does not drink much water. They stay hydrated by eating small insects. When they are thirsty, they eat plants to get water. They are omnivorous pets.”

Others were surprised.

They felt the wind blowing. That's cold. This confuses the other friends.

Fan Ganglie looked at Su Ping. "Are you serious?"

Su Ping glared right into his eyes coldly, "Do you think I'm joking?"

Somehow, Fan Ganglie felt his heart beating faster as he looked into Su Ping eyes. It seemed like the Su Ping next to him was a completely different person. When they were at the base of the explorers, Su Ping looked soft and gentle. However, at this moment, Su Ping eyes were as cold as he looked at a corpse. Is this really a person who has never taken part in a visit to an unclaimed territory?!
