At Least I’M Free

Saturday 08.36 forest police on patrol reported a foreign vehicle in a protected forest area. From the description of the Fj40 hardtop jeep car it hit a tree on the side of the road until the hood section is open. It did not take long until the ownership of the vehicle was confirmed on behalf of Ian Kurniawan. An hour later the investigation team arrived to secure the scene and scooped up new clues leading to the perpetrator.

In the middle of the rain they put up a tent to protect the car and the surrounding land area. Since most of the footholds in this area are topsoil so all sorts of trails will be left more clearly. With a complete PPE, 7 people investigation team perform their respective duties\ each with full caution\-attention.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the road, Huga was talking to the forest police who had reported. Accompanied by Ridwan who recorded his testimony and testimony, they successfully scooped up quite a lot of information. Even so there is one thing that is awkward...

"Schedules patrols how many times a week? And how long does it take?" Ask Huga.

"Every day we patrol, usually up to 3 hours done crowded\-peace."

"Dissipating?"

  "Rubber."

"Every day on patrol? Then surely the whole area is gated huh. But..." Huga shakes her head while smiling at the forest policeman. "why is it being reported now? 2 Today what is it?"

Instantly, the attitude of the forest police who looked younger than Ridwan became clumsy. "S\-I was just told to report sir. I t\-don't know..."

Huga chuckles. Despite the name of the forest police, but they are not under the auspices of the state police. Its development is carried out by the environment ministry with the main task of monitoring, evaluating and reporting forest security activities. It is predictable that 2 days ago they had found the car while on patrol, but concluded that the vehicle belonged to an illegal hunter who was in an accident, so they try to solve the problem themselves by combing the forest looking for groups of hunters that never existed.

Unfortunately they did not give up quickly, until the next 2 days later they reported to the police without thinking that the vehicle was related to a murder case that was being discussed. For fear of being blamed, they also sent the youngest members to report and be scapegoated for their negligence.

"He had even predicted all this, so he dumped the victim's car here so that his invention could be delayed by a few days." Suga muttered half laughing.

"What time sir?" Ridwan's response was full of curiosity.

Meanwhile, the young forest policeman looked down as deep as\-deep. "S—I represent a fellow forest police officer to apologize as big as\-big!"

"Good\-good is enough. Thank you very much for your time and willingness. Please send my greetings to your colleagues\-worker in the post yes."

Seeing the unexpected calm response, the forest policeman raised his head. "S\-ready to do sir!"

"So the victim's car has met since 2 days ago?" Ridwan. "Why are they being abandoned, sir? It's the same as trying to obstruct an investigation."

Suga handed the umbrella that was still closed in one of his hands to Ridwan so that he did not have to continue to share the umbrella. "If you feel disturbed, just report it. Beret."

"You're this really\don't care about anything other than solving this case what?" Ridwan picked up the proffered umbrella.

"What are you saying, of course I care." While chuckling Huga turned her eyes across the street, observing the investigative team still at work.

Suddenly\ suddenly excitedly Ridwan opened the umbrella and stood in front of Huga, blocking. "But sir, isn't this good progress? the possibility of robbery was disallowed because instead of being sold, the car was dumped here which means after the perpetrator killed the victim he used the car for kabu\-"

"Pending the discovery of the body, because if the car is left in the automatic parking lot the school guard will look for the owner." He calmly corrected.

"Yes that too! which means the fingerprint of the perpetrator will be left a lot in the car. Well at least at the wheel and doorknob must be tacky, right?!"

Huga tried not to laugh at the outpouring of enthusiasm without a clear foundation of proof.

"Eitherway. Why would the perpetrator want to leave his fingerprints here while at the first CPI not? It is not wrong to be positive either. You still have a garbage bag from the English club's introductions yesterday?"

"What is the content of the glass\-glass paper used to drink the tea? There is someone in the office, you yourself told to keep it. Why why?"

"Let's go to the dactyloscopy team." Huga grinned. "each glass I've named the student who touched it, so it's easier to match the one in the car."

"Catching up? He meant.." it took Ridwan a few seconds to understand what his senior was talking about. "Oh! The fingerprints! So that's why you want to bring ngeteh equipment? Each student is treated to it so that his fingerprints are stuck in a drink fitting glass? Isn't the purpose of yesterday's interrogation not to get answers, but their fingerprints?"

Without any intention of answering, Huga just smiled.
