At Least I’M Free

At Least I’M Free
XXXV

As usual, the minimalist house feels quiet and quiet when they enter it. Perhaps because of the dense interior and lack of lighting, all appear like shadows fused in the dark.

"Lo nyokap you still work, vin?" Tanya Lilya was stale while opening her shoes.

"Yes." Yeah." Meanwhile Arvin begins to climb the stairs facing the entrance.

After putting his shoes on the shelf, Lilya immediately went up the stairs. To be honest, he had never been to the 2nd floor. During this time only the kitchen and the middle room where he used to visit to just chat casually with Sarah or Arvin. Besides because there is no reason, the owner of the house never invited him to visit another room in this house.

After arriving at the end of the stairs, they were immediately greeted by a long corridor that on both sides there were doors like a hotel. While Arvin continued to walk leisurely, Lilya was still speechless observing.

Although from the outside it looks minimalist and modern, Lilya must admit that the inside of this house is more antique and old school.

Lilya rubbed the stairs beside her then looked at the dust stuck in her fingers.

"Why you?" Arvin asked while busy unlocking the end of the room.

Lilya. "Know my habits when coming to a new place." Lilya was about to approach Arvin when her eyes caught a slightly open door on her right.

"What room is vin?" Lilya pushed the door half open and was surprised to find a clean, all-white room containing only mattresses and a wall clock hanging from the wall of her crossbar.

"Grotto room." Arvin turned around, and looked inside the room. "Why?"

Lilya. "What, really, is this cake you call a room? Is there a mattress?"

"It's for sleep. Lu why the hell?" Said Arvin as if Lilya was the only strange person here.

Lilya shook her head in disbelief. "I mean, which stuff? Clothes, books? Is it separated?"

"Yup. My closet's just like mom's in the dress room." Arvin casually pointed at one of the doors on the left. "Well, the book is there." Arvin pointed at the door he had just opened.

Lilya was silent still processing.

"Well come on, mo photo book catetan right?" Arvin again passed to the door at the end of the hallway and entered into it.

Although there are still many questions in the mind of Lilya, for now the girl prefers to ignore it first and go to the room that Arvin intended.

"Vin's the rest of the room that laen made what...?" Lilya's question hangs when she arrives at the doorstep.

Again he was surprised.

Very far compared to the previous room that was stretchy and empty, this place was even crowded with bookshelves around the room covering the wall to the ceiling. Lilya slowly stepped up with a circulating view observing around.

Buk up!

Something blocked his leg until Lilya stumbled. The girl looked down and found the boxes strewn on the floor.

"What's this?" Lilya crouched down and looked at the contents of the cardboard in front of her.

"Books." Answer Arvin briefly. The only empty part of the room was the study table in the middle of the room that Arvin was sitting in.

"It used to be a bokap workplace. He likes the cake." Arvin lowered his head and began to open a small cupboard under the table, where he put all his notebooks.

Lilya was still amazed to comment. He picked up one of the thick books on the cardboard and observed it closely. It was a classic children's storybook that seemed to be very old and weathered.

"K-so cool cake perpus..." Lilya puffed up, her eyes could not stop at one point and continued to observe all angles. "I know I can pinjem."

"Do you like to read?" Sindir Arvin half-laughing. It is right that Lilya is not the type of person who is willing to spend his time by just sitting down to read.

"Yes rather than the cork," said Limpal Lilya who rose again after putting the book in his hand into the cardboard.

Arvin lifted a stack of notebooks onto the table. "The thing is you never joined."

Arvin nodded and immediately took out his HP.

For a while they only focused on photographing each page in the notebook. Until finally Lilya started her plan, she,

"Lo really knows I like ama lo," said Lilya suddenly without stopping the photography activities. "But even if you know, you keep diem. Bener times yes who said Udo, you have a crush on Ersya."

Instantly Arvin fell silent and slowly glanced at the girl. "Why are you suddenly talking about this?"

"Totally yes?” Lilya pengulum smile.

The mood turned awkward.

Lilya knew very well that her relationship with Arvin would not be the same as it used to be. Maybe the good times are over. He is grateful to have involved himself in the case that put him in the position he is now.

"Gue cape maen. Yes, I am just a transfer boy yesterday afternoon who does not understand anything, but I am not the face of two who always give in order to nyenengin his friends again. So.. sorry yes if I have trouble and you make me honest,” explained Lilia while looking down.

"Wrong..." Arvin nodded as if sorry. "It was just a cave to appreciate Ersya's decision. But I guess the cave has to be a story."

Lilya started to raise her face and watched Arvin closely.

"What do you think of Ersya's place?" Ask Arvin.

Lilya did not understand at all, but she was patient enough to follow. "Luxury.. but lonely?"

Arvin nodded. "That's one of the properties that belongs to the Kusumaningrum conglomerate family. If you don't know, they are a business family that has a lot of scandals. Now they are on the verge of bankruptcy. Although so they are still good to want 'love' one of his properties for livingin Ersya. Why did the cave say it was good enough? Because Ersya is just the adopted son of the head of the Kusumaningrum family."

"Seriously?" Lilya looked up and was stunned by the amount of information she had heard. "For a moment, you know where you're from?"

"The same cave cake knows about the reason you moved? The rest of the tanyain cave went straight to Ersya." Bright Arvin. "Although he was already an adopted child, his last name was not changed, because that's not a lot of people know. Or you could say only the cave is the only one who knows. The cave just wants her life to be calm, so the cave keep her secret ampe now."

Silent.

Lilya stared at Arvin sharply trying to ascertain the truth behind his words.

"So that means...as the only person who knows Ersya's identity, you are willing to shut up for the sake of keeping her secret? Even if it was in the interest of investigating the death of bokap lo?“

Arvin speechless. He seemed to want to answer but did not want to answer at the same time.

“Haa..emang really yes lo all his like he.” Lilya chuckles. “Keep about the essay contest won by Ersya, it is also your help?”

Arvin was about to reply when suddenly a ringtone call sounded.

Lilya looked at her HP screen, found the name of Huga listed there. Without lingering Lilya immediately raised it.

“Hallo?”

“30 Minutes later we meet at the cafe near your school. I have to quickly test the woll fiber you got it..”.

“Ok ready.”

The phone was turned off. Although Huga said she met in 30 minutes, Lilya felt she had spent enough time here.

“Yahh I have to unplug it... Tadi you want to say what?” Ask Lily cheerfully.

“Yah about essay... cave has nothing to do at all.” Reply Arvin somehow impressed origin.

Even so, Lilya did not really bother about it, but there are other things that are much more important to investigate now.

“Yaudah if so, ntar I stopped by here again to make a photo.” Lilya waved her hand before a small run left a speechless Arvin with one hand under the table holding a few sheets of paper inscribed with the draft essay ‘micro human expression and truth behind it’.
