The new location for the existence of artifacts belonging to his father has been re-acquired. Surely Freya was very happy because again she could get the stolen artifact. The faster he collected the lost artifacts, the faster the task was completed.
The artifact he snatched from the auction was removed, Freya looked at the thing for a moment. All of these are the most historic. He wanted his father to be remembered by the rest of the world as the man who discovered all the artifacts, so he had to get all his father's possessions stolen.
The secret room was opened, the artifacts that were in hand were put together with the other artifacts. Freya seemed satisfied, slowly but surely she could get the valuables and soon she would get the others. After getting it, Freya exits the secret room but is shocked to find Norman in her room.
"Ck, what are you here for?" freya asked in an unhappy tone.
"Of course help yourself find the whereabouts of the artifact you're looking for!" Norman stepped up to Freya who was closing the door of the secret room and locked it again with a complicated code that would not be easily broken.
"There is no need!" Freya.
"Have you got it?" Norman hugged her from behind and kissed Freya on the neck.
"Of course, but get your nasty lips off me!" Freya tried to push Norman's face.
"You like it too, so don't sell it big!"
"Hey, the time is serious" said Freya but she was already leaning comfortably against Norman's chest.
"So, where's the next location we should go to?" ask Norman.
"You seem more excited than I am, Norman."
"Of course, I can't wait to have another adventure with you!"
"Alright, the artifact is in Los Angles. Not too far away so it doesn't have to cost a lot."
"When are we going? Are we gonna steal it at the museum, or steal it again at the auction?" ask Norman.
"No, not in both places. My father's artifact had just been bought by a businessman who loved collecting antiques" Freya said.
"Didn't you get any information about where the businessman bought your father's artifact?" ask Norman.
"What do you mean, Norman?" Freya stepped away approaching her still-lit computer.
"I mean, wouldn't it be better for us to figure out the source directly so that we don't waste a lot of time? How many more artifacts do you have to find? If we search for them one by one, we will spend a lot of time just to get your father's artifacts. The sooner we find the source, the more we can find your father's whereabouts. We're racing against time, Freya. We must act quickly."
"You're right, but how do we find the source? Do we have to arrest the businessman and interrogate him?"
"We can do it but we have to know who the businessman who bought the artifact and actually we have to suspect many things and be aware of many things, Freya."
"You mean?" Freya sat by the side of the bed, eyes not turning away from Norman.
"So you mean, the existence of the artifacts in Los Angles is just a hoax?" ask Freya.
"I'm not sure, it could have been a trick and it could have been a trap. We have to draw a lot of conclusions about what we do. First, we're not taking that thing from a fool. All the artifact owners must have heard the news of our actions and I'm sure they must have started to be vigilant. They could not just spread their valuables if there was no purpose. It could be a trap to lure us regardless if the artifact exists or not!"
"Well, what you said is very true but I still have to go to make sure it's there or not!"
"No, Freya. Isn't that dangerous?" Norman stepped closer and sat down at Freya's side.
"Dangerous or not, I have to go check it out. Anyway from the beginning I knew what I was doing was dangerous so I would go check it out. Even though it was a trap, it could have been a trap it had brought to my father and it was possible that the trap had led me to the stone I was looking for."
"If so, we go together but we have to be careful and move together so that no one gets caught between us!"
"All right, we'll make plans later. I also have to find out who exactly owns the artifact."
"Let's find it together!" said Norman but his hands were already on Freya's face and his eyes could not be separated from the woman's face.
"Why are you looking at me like that? Don't tell me you're in love with me!" Freya.
"Don't be too confident!" Norman flicked Freya's forehead quickly twice.
"Don't touch my forehead!" Freya held onto her forehead and looked pouty.
"Alright, come. I want to hold you for a moment!" Norman pulled Freya closer and hugged her. Freya smiled faintly as Norman's hands unceasingly rubbed his head slowly.
"Have you thought about this before, Freya?" ask Norman.
"Think what?" Freya looked at Norman for a moment but she leaned back her head.
"Let's lie down and talk!" Norman invited Freya to lie down. They faced each other and looked at each other. Freya did not turn away let alone Norman's hand was rubbing his face slowly.
"I thought about this, Freya. What will happen to us once you find your father? Aren't we gonna be partners again?" ask Norman.
"You should've known the answer, Norman. We are partners from the beginning, we should not involve feelings even though we have slept together and look friendly but we should not involve feelings. I promised to clear your name when I'm done then I'll do it and when it's all over, we'll split. I don't think you want to be involved with a criminal like me for too long."
"You're right" Norman said, though he didn't like what Freya said. It turned out that for Freya he was really her partner. Luckily he asked so he knew what he had to do after all was done.
"Why do you ask that when you already know the answer? Don't tell me you already have a little feeling for me!"
"Ck, I told you not to be so confident because I can't possibly fall in love with you so when the time comes, we'll part ways like we wanted to from the start!" after saying so, Norman kissed Freya's lips because he did not want to hear what Freya said.
Freya doesn't refuse even though Norman says he won't fall in love with her. Indeed that was supposed to happen but why did his feeling feel chest tight? The two of them quietly hugged each other, but they both harbored an uncertain feeling. So it was better, although it felt heavy but now they already knew if they were going to separate and through their talks, indirectly they had agreed to separate.
