The King Who is Jealous

A place to meet Gabriel has been found. Actually Freya was very upset that Norman was following her even the man was like a bodyguard who was guarding her. How not, Norman walked in front of him without letting go of his hand. He acted as if no one could get close to Freya. Freya sighed, I don't know what made Norman so that he really didn't understand.

This was the first time she had seen Norman like that, she was already not much different like a possessive couple even she felt Norman was more possessive than a real boyfriend. Though they were only comrades, he knew Norman was aware of it. There was no way she had forgotten, yet Norman was already like her lover who was burned by the flames of jealousy. Did that guy forget about their relationship and was really jealous?

No way, he's sure of it. Norman could not be jealous and he had to be self-conscious if he was no one in the presence of the king who was playing with him.

Gabriel who was waiting looked impatient. He arrived first from then on. He brings something to show Freya, he is sure Freya will be happy.

Freya and Norman have arrived, Gabriel is very happy to see the arrival of Freya but the man who is with Freya, makes Gabriel unhappy at all. Though he wanted to talk alone with Freya but there was a disturbance that he did not expect.

"Gabriel!" Freya shouted out while waving as she looked at Gabriel.

Gabriel went up and replied to Freya's hand, while Norman looked at her with a displeased look. Freya pulled her hand from Norman's and ran towards Gabriel.

Displeasure grew more Norman felt, resentment even filled the heart as Freya hugged Gabriel in front of her eyes and they both looked so familiar. What's wrong with her? Don't tell me she's jealous of Freya's relationship with another man but for what? No, it seems like something's wrong with him. He didn't know what but he felt he had played too far with the woman so it gave rise to feelings that shouldn't exist.

"How are you, Freya? Why do you look so different?" ask Gabriel.

"I'm fine, thank you. You alone, how are you?"

"I'm good too, as you can see but who is that guy? Is she your lover?" Gabriel looked at Norman with an unfriendly look but somehow he seemed to recognize Norman. The man's face looked familiar, he had seen it but he had forgotten where.

"No, Norman is my best friend" Freya replied. Surely the answer given by Freya made Norman very, very unhappy.

"Oh, I'm also a friend of Freya's, too" Gabriel reached out toward Norman who stood by Freya's side, "Gabriel," said the man, introducing himself.

"Norman, the closest friend in all things!" Norman welcomed Gabriel's hand. The two of them looked at each other and squeezed the palms of each other. Freya frowned, glaring at Norman with a displeased expression due to the words she was making. I don't know what that means, which must have been Norman acting so shitty.

"Hm, you guys are really like lovers who haven't seen each other for a long time!" Freya.

"Look, don't just talk!" Norman let go of Gabriel's hand, so he was disgusted by Freya's words.

"What about your father, Freya. Is he still doing the digging?" Gabriel immediately sat down as did Freya and Norman.

Norman sat down at Freya's side and pulled Freya close, one hand on Freya's waist without letting go. Norman seems to show Gabriel that Freya is his and that man should not bother Freya. Okay, looks like she's really jealous but why? Has he fallen for Freya?

"My dad's fine, thank you. Now he's going to do some digging in an ancient tomb" Freya lied. He didn't want anyone to know what was going on with his father.

"Your father is amazing, I really wish I could do some digging with him. It's possible that I might be able to find a great invention like the one your father found!" Gabriel said.

"Great discovery?" Freya looked at Gabriel with a suspicious look.

"Yeah, I hear your father always finds valuable historical relics, so I'd really like to do some digging with him. It's possible that I could be your father's assistant so that I could follow him wherever your father went!"

"When did your father come back? I'd really like to meet him!"

"Come on, Gabriel," Freya sighed, she herself did not know when to discover the whereabouts of her father.

"All right, how about you now. When are you gonna do the digging again?" this was what he wanted to know but there was another purpose besides that.

They were talking without any regard for Norman, Norman was also unconcerned. He only listened to what they were talking about but to be honest he was suspicious of something, something that Gabriel was alluding to and would find out later after they left the place.

Gabriel shows Freya something so they both look serious. Norman, who did not understand what they were talking about, was very bored and, in order to get rid of the boredom, ordered a drink. He also ordered the ice cream that Freya liked by the surprised Freya when Norman put ice cream on her face.

"Es cream to you" Norman said.

"Thanks," Freya smiled and picked it up, she indeed needed a sweet and cold one after talking too much with Gabriel.

"By the way, I seem to have seen you. Have we met, Norman?" ask Gabriel.

"I met a lot of people, where I remember you!" answer Norman cynically.

"Yeah, you're right. But I've really seen you somewhere but I forgot," she sure did see Norman even though his name wasn't foreign, but she forgot where.

"Don't you meet him when he runs away in debt!" Freya.

"Debit?" Gabriel looked towards Norman seriously. Such a man, how could it possibly have debts? Is Freya being tricked?

"Right, he's just a guy being chased by moneylenders all the time!" said Freya while enjoying the ice cream.

"Yeah, that's me!" Norman pulled the nape of Freya until his face approached and the man sucked Freya's lower lip so that Freya was surprised.

"Sugary!" norman said without showing any guilt.

"Ezum, don't do that in public!" Freya hit Norman's thigh and looked annoyed. Freya also covered her mouth especially her lower lip throbbing due to Norman's actions.

"It seems you are more than friends!" Gabriel said.

"He's just a perverted friend!" freya said, she still looked annoyed.

"I told you, we are friends. Friends in everything!" Norman seemed satisfied because he had already shown that Freya was his.

"All right, let's order some food. I paid!" Gabriel said. He really did not believe what Freya said because he felt like he had seen Norman and the man, it was impossible to have debts like Freya said but who? He was very curious and he would find out about this later.

Norman looked at Gabriel with great attention. Either he was jealous or did not like Gabriel but he was suspicious of the man. He was already impatient for the man to leave because there was something important that he wanted to discuss with Freya.
