Chapter 21: Apologizing

Vegas had been waiting for more than 15 minutes but Helena had not yet returned to pick up the clothes she wanted, Vegas ended her call with Rose. Because he felt something was not right, Vegas immediately rushed to get up from his seat and walked to the clothing room at the end of the hallway. "Are you crazy!" the sound of Helena's voice looking angry, things made Vegas quickly open the door of the room and anger instantly surrounded her.

"What's this!" screech Vegas while pulling John and pushing him violently.

John looks panicked as he waves his hand at Vegas. "Gosh, good thing you came on time. I wanted to help Helena find clothes, but she seduced me and pulled me to the end of the wall."

Helena who heard that quickly shook her head, this does not match what just happened, this one man has indeed gone crazy like him. "No Vegas, she—"

"Did you always flirt with other men like this behind my back?" Tanya Vegas made Helena stare in disbelief towards Vegas.

Helena shook her head very slowly, not believing that Vegas could actually say that. "What do you mean? you think I'm that kind of woman?" helena asked an angry and disappointed one that had mixed in.

Not yet Vegas answered Helena's words, the woman had already gone out of the room while holding back tears and a sense of tightness in her heart. It's a very stepping on her self-esteem thing, if someone else says it maybe Helena will just get angry, but this is Vegas, the person she wants to reach out to and love so much.

Without a second thought, Vegas came out of the clothes room and ran small to the photo shoot room looking for Helena who had nowhere to go. The heart of Vegas was really unsettled when he saw the disappointed face that Helena showed, it felt like tightness and pain without Vegas realizing it. "Helena" called Vegas quietly when she saw the woman talking to a crew member in the dressing room.

Helena turned her head, she looked towards Vegas as if there was no problem whatsoever, making Vegas who originally wanted to apologize become a little awkward with Helena's indifferent reaction. "Let's wear this quickly, soon the shooting will begin," said Helena who seemed cooler for this time. There was no smile that the woman usually displayed, her face was completely flat with no expression.

"You angry?" vegas asked as he received the clothes that Helena had given him.

"I'll wait outside, Marteen seems to be calling me." Without answering and not glancing at Vegas in the slightest, he walked through Vegas just like that.

Again Vegas can only breathe slowly, if it is like this what should he do? should he feel happy because maybe Helena will resign as his assistant, but what Vegas feels now is guilt and want to quickly apologize.
