Chapter 26: Finding Something
Helena entered the room first, while Vegas stared in dislike at Jeff who was still standing in front of the room without explaining anything. "Sorry to bother you Mr. Vegas" said the man, bowing his head and turning to the elevator, which made Vegas remember that the man was the man with them in the elevator.
Not having enough time to think about the uncertainties, Vegas did not prolong the matter, he went back into the meeting room and sat next to Helena who looked tense. "Are you sure you're okay?" whispered Vegas slowly. Helena turned and nodded her head.

All day Helena became unsettled, Jeff's presence made Helena feel no more time. Helena walks into her room and ignores Rose's call intentionally for the first time, she doesn't want to talk to anyone. 'Did Vegas read the letter and see the necklace he gave you?' the thought continues to haunt Helena now, feeling already very depressed, Helena finally forced herself to ask directly to Vegas, has she opened the box yet? then what did Vegas answer to her plea for help?
While Helena was looking for Vegas contact, an unknown number appeared. Helena frowned faintly, who contacted Helena's new number? Not sure if Helena refused the call and soon a message came in making Helena could no longer give it up. [Thank you or I'll pick you up right now!]
After reading it, the number came back shortly. Helena swallowed her saliva strongly and hesitantly raised the call. "H—helo."
There was a small laugh from there, Helena was quite familiar with the sound of laughter full of cunning. "Hello Helena, you've had enough playing time, if you don't come back I'll have your family's company destroyed! You wanna play with me? I'll show you how to play if you want."
"Where did I get this number?" helena asked confused, she did not give this number to Jeff last afternoon, she only gave this number to 3 people, Vegas, Marteen and Rose.
Zack was heard laughing again as if mocking his ignorance about the greatness of Zack. "It's too easy for me to get a number belonging to a Vegas assistant. Looks like you're a good fit to have a job like that Helena, you think it's easy to avoid this marriage? I'll pick you up if you don't come back in a week, it's a choice I give you, do you want to be treated well when you're my wife, or do you want to be my pet dog forever?"
"Of course there are, a lot! If only I didn't have that stupid request I'd leave a troublesome woman like you Helena. I also know Ella secretly knows about you, right? do I have to teach that woman a lesson first so you can believe I can do anything if you follow my words?"
Helena's two eyeballs were fully rounded, she took her breath in with a heart already filled with vengeance by Zack. "Don't you dare touch Ella one bit. All right, you win, I'll be back before a week."
"Good, that's what I want to hear, when you come, you give your apology very politely, if you want to please me, if you want to please me, kneel down and say if you're sorry that you're worrying me."

While in the other room, Vegas was busy looking for Helena on all social media, she did not find Helena's profile which was apparently quite difficult to find.
"Aish! Why am I so finding out all about Helena!" sizzle Vegas while cursing herself. Vegas put his phone on the nightstand and stared at the sky of his room. His mind drifted again last night while they were at the beach, Vegas was again confused and realized there was something strange about him. "Am I starting to get normal?" vegas murmured slowly, to be honest, Vegas had been confused because he had never been interested in women, every one who approached her there was only a feeling of uneasiness and resentment because they were almost like the woman Vegas hated, the woman who managed to ruin the happy life of Vegas with her Mommy.
Vegas exhaled slowly, well, he'll try to see his own reaction to Laura tomorrow, the photo shoot with the woman always made him uncomfortable, but to prove it all, Vegas will try to see if it only affects Helena or all women.
