Fina was instantly silent then gradually moved. He placed his glass on the window table and filled it with water from the teremos. Shortly after Fina returned to sit next to Rafael's back, the man pulled back and gradually pulled himself to sit down even though his eyes were still closed.

Drinking warm water at the beginning of waking up has indeed become a habit of Rafael and his family. Fina knew that because Rafael also told her.
