Chapter 40. Following Starla

When Saka was agitated because Starla never picked up the phone. Starla was going to the supermarket with her papa who had just come home from meeting her friends. Adrian is currently on holiday, about a week he will be at home. Starla feels grateful, because she can use this to stay at her papa's house.

Now the two of them are in the nearest supermarket to shop for groceries at a depleted house. Because, since Starla lived in her in-laws' house. The house was rarely occupied except when Adrian went home sailing and Adrian only shopping for himself. But this time he was shopping quite a lot for Starla, he was happy because Starla was going to stay one Sunday.

"You want chicken wings too, baby?" adrian asked his daughter. Starla nodded her head, smiling at the package containing chicken wings in her papa's hand. Starla is a fan of fried chicken, especially chicken and grilled chicken. Sometimes Adrian buys food that stays cooked for Starla or buy it outside the house.

"Oh, baby, what does your husband like?" adrian asked while pushing a trolley containing groceries.

"Why is Papa nanyain him?" ask Starla who doesn't seem to like her papa discussing Saka.

"She will want to stay at home too, so we have to prepare food for her as well as dong during her stay at home." joked Adrian who made Starla surprised. It was not terbesit at all in Starla's mind to invite Saka to stay at her papa's house as well.

'I didn't think at all until there. Who wants to stay at Papa's house with him? I'll go back to nenangin' myself'

"Saka busy pah, he's a lot of errands. He's third grade, so that's natural. Saka won't stay home, I doang." Starla reasoned like this, a reasonable reason. But it still made Adrian suspicious.

"This is not an excuse, is it?"

"I-I mean what the hell is that? How is it like gini?" ask Starla nervously.

"You're sure this isn't an excuse? You're living at home without your husband, not because there's a problem?" adrian asked his daughter. He noticed Starla's face, especially her eyes, was there a lie there? Adrian is looking for him.

"There's nothing, Pa! I'm just fine with Saka." Starla tried to smile and trick her papa.

"If you're okay with him, now you call him." said Adrian.

"At home, we'll go shopping. Btw, I want to buy ice cream pah!" Starla exclaimed turning her attention, she pointed at the ice cream fridge as she walked over. Adrian sighed seeing his daughter like that.

After shopping, Adrian and Starla return to their home. Starla then put the food into the refrigerator. His father asks Starla to be quiet, he does not want Starla to be exhausted. Adrian also said that he would cook dinner later. Then Starla decided to go into the room, she immediately laid her body on the bed.

"Quiet Starla calm down.Why are you even drying the same unstable boy? Relax Starla, don't stress." Starla tries to calm her mind from Saka, the man who gives promise, tenderness, but all of his promises are fake. Starla believes in him, but he still loves his ex. Still cares about his ex. Starla does not want stress, mending she focus on the script only.

After a long fall, while waiting for dinner to finish. Starla opens the laptop at her house to return to work on her script. He did not even open his phone at all which was being charged. He is very lazy and activates the vibrating mode.

Though there were several calls and messages from Saka, as well as Bhishma, Gina and Galang. But Starla does not know because she is focusing on her laptop now.

At the Saka parents' residence. The teenager had just arrived at his house, his breathing was dull as he entered the house. He did not even say hello to his mother and father who were in the living room.

"Saka..kamu why? Uh. the kid..." Graceful to see her son enter the room just like that.

"Why are your children, Ma?"

"Eh.. Papa's son also dong," chuckled gracefully while smiling at her husband. Despite having grandchildren from Starla and Ghea, they still feel young and always seem friendly.

Shortly after, Saka comes out of his room after learning that Starla is not there. He approached his parents who were sitting on the sofa in the living room.

"Ma, pa!"

"Why are you, baby? Kok kayak abis running a marathon, ngos-ngosan that." asked Anggun wonder.

"Yes, you haven't even changed uniforms. It's late" Jeffry chirped as he looked at his son's wet, slightly dirty uniform.

"Ma, Pa, where's Starla?" asked Saka to the point as he was in a hurry at this moment. He doesn't know where his wife is.

"Loh...Surely Starla didn't tell you? He's going to go home to his dad's house" Jeffry told his son that Starla's coming home.

"Why did Starla go there Pa?" saka asked with a hunting breath. She is shocked when her papa says Starla went to Adrian's house. Saka was afraid that Starla would return there forever and not come back here again.

'Where is this? What if he's really mad at me? He must have misunderstood, I have to explain everything. I will follow him to Papa Adrian's house Saka said in her heart. Without saying a word, Saka went back into her room. He will clean up and change clothes first. Later, he will follow Starla to Adrian's house.

In just 15 minutes, Saka finished her bath and changed her clothes. He also brought a few clothes and school books into the bag. He will definitely stay there for a long time. Wherever his wife and little star went, he had to go.

"Well, where are you going these gini nights? How do you bring a bag?" ask Anggun when he will go to the kitchen. Graceful to see her son getting ready to leave.

"Saka went to Papa Adrian's house, Ma" said Saka.

"Oh.You want the nyusulin Starla. Even though Starla sent a message to mama earlier so that you are at home, she said you have many tasks. But..You have a lot of tasks, right? You come home late in the afternoon," Anggun cerocos to his son. This ending Saka always came home late in the afternoon because of busy schoolwork, but today he was deliberately playing at Malvin's house.

"Stay Ma, no matter how busy I am. I must keep my wife company. Starla is pregnant with Ma, I'm afraid she needs something." Saka explained to her mother.

"Yes, yes, too. Mama is happy because you already have thoughts like this," said Anggun proud because his son has started to grow up a little and not selfish as before. She thought of her husband, who said that Saka would grow up in time. He will be overcome by circumstances.

"Yes Ma, if that's Saka to go first!" pamit Saka to his mother politely. Gracefully smiled and reminded him to always be careful.

Saka then left his house on his motorcycle. He hoped Starla would forgive him.

Meanwhile Starla and Adrian are already sitting at the dinner table with a simple dinner, egg special fried rice because Starla is wanting to eat it.

As they were about to start eating, a bell rang. Starla moved out of her seat.

"Let you open the door" said Adrian softly.

"But Pa,"

"You're here, baby," said Adrian who always pay attention to his daughter. Adrian got up from his seat, then walked to the front door to open the door.

Not long after, Adrian came to the dining room along with someone who made Starla's mood so damaged. Even Starla did not want to see him at this moment.

"Star is Saka."

"Oh." Starla replied briefly, she knew her husband was looking at her at this moment. But Starla prefers to ignore it.

'Truly, she was angry with me' Saka said upon seeing Starla's cold response.

"Here he brought your favorite cake," said Adrian while saving a package of cakes from the subscription store Starla.

"Simpen aja Pa, my son again want to eat nasgor made by his grandfather." said Starla who suddenly changed the look of his face because he realized his father would be suspicious.

"Why are you here? Didn't I say I'd like to stay here first?" starla asked with a sharp look at Saka. His words were gentle but his gaze was sharp.

'Told you? He didn't even say anything, he lied, ' Saka said in his heart.

"Where can I sleep without you beside me. I can't get far from our Little Star. You don't have to worry, if you're going to disturb my focus.For me you're the same little star is the priority." said Saka who made Starla almost vomit when she heard it.

'priority? Acting same sweet mouth she's very nice.. Who is the priority? The Elisha?'

"Yes Saka, sit here. We had dinner together, it's good to cook a lot." Invite Adrian who still feels that his daughter's household is fine. They are in an inner war.
