Ch. 23 Elisabeth Islan 1

Hemsworth widened his eyes at his last moment. Until the end of his life he still did not believe he would die in the hands of a little girl who was nothing.

After confirming that Hemsworth was dead, Elisabeth left the crowbar still stuck in Hemsworth's body and left.

He passed through the fifth-floor corridors with his legs dragged away leaving a trail of blood along the path he was walking along.

In the middle of the night on the fifth floor, there was the sound of crying from the little girl. Eli could no longer hold his voice and immediately burst out in a heartbreaking cry. He wanted to immediately meet Sean and hug the young man who had already given him the affection of an older brother.

But at this time his strength was not much more when his body fell and lay on the fifth floor. He dragged his body not wanting to give up.

“Sister Sean.I.m sorry” Eli's tears flowed profusely while still dragging his body through the corridors of the fifth floor. He used all his remaining energy to go through the corridor, but his efforts were like collecting leaking water.....

“I....could not save you.Even when I saw the man was about to kill you..I'm sorry.” Eli's voice grew weaker when his body could not move anymore. Eli looked out the fourth-floor window and saw the moonlight seeping in shining down on his body.

He stared at the moonlight that night, and his tears were flowing increasingly profusely.

Previously Eli was very happy to see Sean again, because during this week he had to go to school and only had the time now.

Sean suddenly crossed his mind. Sean who smiled gently brought warmth to everyone, Sean who was serious while doing experiments, Sean whose face was black due to the explosion of chemical reactions he did, and who was very serious, Sean scolds him if he touches a dangerous item, Sean who always teaches him, Sean who helps him finish his homework, Sean who reminds him to study hard... All of his memories of Sean are giving him the affection of an older brother that he had always expected.....

Eli smiled weakly before he lost consciousness and lay weakly in front of the fourth-floor window. The moonlight made the apparition of the cheerful sweet little girl even clearer...

That night, the night that became the beginning of all the tragedy that happened in the health university X.

Elisabeth Islan drowned her face on the hospital blanket as she felt the pain in her heart. He felt he had become the most useless person. It should have been that time he helped Sean rather than slurping.

At least Sean will be safe and well, although in the end Sean will be angry with him. But now even Eli misses Sean who is mad at him.

Eli was so sorry for his own actions.What had he done? why wasn't he the only one who died then?..

“You're aware?” a woman in a medical suit entered Eli's room. He immediately wiped away the tears on his face and calmed himself down. Eli nodded and smiled gently at the female doctor.

“Do you feel better? Your heart pressure is good and everything is normal” said the doctor after checking Eli's condition.

“You don't need to worry, it's not permanent. You just have to always have chemotherapy and your legs will be like before again” said the doctor calmed Eli. Eli nodded and smiled at him. When the door suddenly opened and showed a woman in a police uniform entering her room.

“Hai Elisabeth, are you feeling better?” the policewoman asked as she waved her hand at Eli.

Eli smiled and nodded lightly. Eli already knew that the police found him and took him to the hospital, so he could survive now.

Although sorry that he could no longer meet Sean, however, Eli had to feel grateful for the second chance God gave him.

“Thank you to the police. I can survive because of your help, Eli told the police officer, who only nodded lightly and said that it was their duty as police officers.

The policewoman explains to Eli that since she is the only remaining witness to the murder of Sean and Hemsworth, they must interrogate him. Although legally Eli is still a minor, but no one else knows about the incident other than Eli, at least they know what happened behind this event.

Eli nodded and the woman informed her colleagues that Eli was ready to undergo their interrogation.

A few moments later some police arrived at the hospital, making the hospital a scene. They quickly headed to the room where Eli was being treated.

A policeman with a lot of badges attached to him approached Eli and rubbed the little girl's hair. He explains that Eli must not lie to what he is about to tell and tell the truth. Eli nodded and said that he would tell them the truth.

The police then invited Eli to speak.

Eli looked at them before sighing heavily and bracing himself, he began to explain what was happening, from where he had fallen asleep to the night, Sean being pierced with a crowbar, he said, then he was thrown off the roof of the building until he ended up killing the old man, who he now knows was one of the investors of University of Health X. Eli was a little surprised to hear that, he did not know that the person he had killed was such a big fish.

Hearing Eli's explanation the policemen who heard him felt disbelief, the girl before them looked pure and innocent but now her hands had been stained with blood. They could not imagine the tiny little girl thrusting iron at a man much bigger than her.

“Eli you didn't make up this story, did you?” the policewoman asked Eli, not believing what he was saying.

“I'm not lying ma'am, if you don't trust me I have proof. Brother Sean has many experiments and I know most of them, you can see that the poison I used was still there. And you can match it with the poison sample that entered the old man's body. I didn't lie I felt so angry and felt I had to kill him with my own hands.I used to feel scared while doing this, but now I feel relieved knowing that the man had really been killed. At least brother Sean is not alone there.” Clearly Eli with teary eyes, with a satisfied face.

The police could not believe hearing such a thing from the mouth of a child. He felt relieved after committing murder? Is this little girl in front of them a psychopath?

The police thank Eli for his confession and leave the hospital, leaving Eli to fret again.
