The police can't arrest Eli for his murder considering he's a minor, but due to the case he's in, he must be monitored at all times. Eli doesn't worry about this not even thinking about it, he lets the police carry out their duties and he also goes about his days back.
***
For two years, Eli did not attend school because he was under close police surveillance.
That day he re-entered high school and had to go back from the beginning of class. He was released and underwent his normal activities.
News of the murder committed by Eli did not spread to the high school environment and was only known to some of the lecturers who were in contact with the victim and it could also be counted on the fingers, he said, so there's no weirdness going on at his school that they know Eli didn't go to school because of an accident and had to repeat the class again. But because Eli is a student who is smart and fast to learn, he overstepped his second class and immediately third class.it was in first grade only a few months because the lessons delivered by the teacher he already knew, he already knew, in fact, it could be said that Eli knew more than them because the person who taught Eli before was a student who should have been a professor because of his genius.
Eli's days were as good as ever, yet there was no longer a smile on the girl's cheerful and tender face. Even on his birthday he only smiled a few times and his smile looked even more like a person full of sadness instead of happiness.
Eli's condition worsened over the next week, his hair slightly bleached and there were black bags under his eyes. Every day she had to take sleeping pills to calm herself down. Because every time he falls asleep his memory of where Sean died comes back to haunt his mind.
The teachers had warned Eli to rest well and told Eli to go to the hospital for treatment. But Eli just says he's fine and just needs some quiet now. And they no longer force it.
***
A month has passed since Eli first entered middle school for the second time.Over the past month nothing meaningful has happened in his life and everything is practically fine.
This week was the time when he would normally meet Sean but that person was no longer there now. This month Eli did not enter the university at all for fear that he would not stand it.
Eli walked out of his class and walked without direction. That afternoon it was raining heavily all over Eli as he quietly wept but his tears fused with the rain. Unbeknownst to him, it was night and he realized that he was not on the street anymore, competing in front of a five-story building with police lines surrounding him.
Eli's attention was distracted at the building, and stared at the roof. The shadow of Sean falling from up there and hitting the floor violently flashed across his mind. Eli wept and roared loudly, his heartbreaking voice muffled by the sound of heavy rain.
Eli walked into the dark building, walking down the corridors of the building with moonlight as lighting for him, before entering the research laboratory that Sean usually uses to conduct experiments.
Eli turned on a small lamp on Sean's desk and saw that it was still working, Eli stared at all of Sean's belongings still there, just as he had left the building two years ago. Nothing has changed except the amount of dust that has accumulated there.
Eli circled around the place for a while while reminiscing about all that Sean had done in this laboratory. There were no more tears flowing from Eli's eyes than a gentle smile that contained a million deep, deeply rooted sorrows in his heart.
Eli's hand stopped on a small book covered in pitch black and plain. There was no writing there other than the black cover. Eli took it and opened it. He looked at the small characters written in the book.
On the first page it was well and neatly written from a bright white ink decorating it, the paper was dark in color and the white ink stood out on the paper. Eli saw this and learned it was Sean's diary, telling him about his complaints about his sometimes unsuccessful experiments and the records from his experiments, all of which included three halama sheets, which he wrote, at the end of the note was a footnote.
“A soul full of greed for science,
Walk on the path created by science,
Disappeared in a sea of blood,
It brings darkness from the purest heart,
Cage the soul in a thin paper with ink from blood
Eli suddenly felt that Sean was really as depicted in this poem. His eyes glazed over before turning over the next night. And finding another little note, but this note looks strange, it's not written in white ink like the others are competing in dark red ink like blood, he said, looks very creepy when combined with a thick black book.
“A soul full of hubris,
Wading the world in darkness,
Black among all the white,
Hiding in the dark,
Cage the soul in a thin paper with blood ink
……..”
Eli read every word of the character in the book, and without him realizing something was happening outside of building X, when suddenly the paper on the book in his hand gave off a pitch-black light for a moment before it returned to normal.
Eli turned around and put the book in his arms and left.
He's feeling a little happy, at least he got Sean's last memories today. What made him curious about the book was that, in the first poem, there was Sean's name there, which Eli thought Sean had written himself. But in the second poem is not written the name of anyone competing points without a single letter there.
Eli then ignores him and feels that Sean may not want to write his name there.
Eli traced the corridor of the building in silence. While remembering the events of that night. He walked up to the roof of the building and stared at the darkness before him. His eyes were staring at the moon shining brightly tonight.
A gentle breeze blew and blew Eli's fine hair away. Eli looked down at the fourth-floor building as he imagined how Sean had fallen from this height.
Just imagine it, Eli could not, when thinking about how much pain Sean felt at that time.
Eli wiped his tears and turned to return because it was already night.
Eli is walking down the campus corridor with mixed feelings now. Sadness mixed with a little pleasure to find Sean's last memories.
Just as Eli came out of the university fence, a black bayngan appeared on the roof. His face was already out of shape and his eyes were as red as blood. On his right hand was a black and rusty crowbar.
The figure smiled meaningfully at the figure of Eli who was in the distance before a shrill laugh that echoed throughout campus X.
