Ch. 38 The Truth of the Little Black Book

Sean felt sorry for the girl because yesterday they had met and felt that the girl was a good boy. During the sight of the girl's corpse, Sean knew that she was an accomplished girl at Health X University. Sean was sorry for the death of such a talented girl.

But the thing that did not enter into Sean's estimation was the moment when the girl seemed to lose control of him. Sean just thought this had nothing to do with yesterday's strange events. And thought that the girl might have someone who disliked her so much that she wanted her death.

But right left a few months before Sean was about to enter Health University X he again experienced a similar incident and this time it was a man. At first Sean doesn't care what happened to the previous girl when he touches the little black book and chooses to forget about it.

But when he saw the man who touched the book also experienced something similar. Sean remembered this. He looked at the man for a while and just like the previous girl the man had been controlled and his gaze became blank. He just got up and left.

Sean becomes more and more astonished he wants to follow but because of the events that happened to him earlier to cause him to have to give up his own life just because of his curiosity, Sean chooses not to interfere and ignore him.

The next morning Sean was again surprised by the news of someone returning to die at the University of Health X. Sean looked at the corpse in front of the main campus building and his eyes widened to see the man he had previously met had been sprawled in front of the main building in a terrible condition. Just like the previous girl the man also had a deep hole in the middle of his chest and in his eyes was a long scratch that made blood lines flow all over his face. His mouth was bleeding a lot.

Ever since that incident Sean learned everything about the black book. He asked the students and Alex, but none of them knew there was a book that had the same characteristics as Sean mentioned.

This made Sean pay more attention to the little black book. One day, Sean tried to open the book. A little boy with a smashed face and black hair who looked like he was on fire met Sean.

In a glance Sean did not recognize the little boy at all.

"Sister Sean...."

Sean's eyes widened and an expression of great shock appeared on his face. Even though a few years have passed, Sean will not be able to forget that voice. The voice of someone Sean heard the last time he finally closed his eyes for all eternity.

Sean froze for a while and looked at the boy until he was unaware his tears were flowing from his eye sockets.

"Little elf...." Said Sean in a trembling voice. He looked at Eli. Although Sean saw that Eli's eyes were gone, Sean was sure Eli was looking at him closely.

Blood started flowing from Eli's eyelids. It creates a terrible sight. Sean was not at all bothered by that.

What makes Sean inexhaustible is Eli's dire circumstances even for a little boy like himself.

Eli was so happy to hear the voice he so missed.

Eli told Sean everything that happened to him about what happened until he was killed by Hemsworth, and the cause of Sean being reborn.

Sean initially finds it hard to believe it, however since he who was summoned back is more precisely his soul who was summoned back from the book.

Sean was also angry and angry at what Hemsworth had done to Eli. Sean can see that Eli's condition in his last moments is so heavy that even Sean is difficult to ignore. Sean swore in his heart from then on that he would avenge what Hemsworth had done to Eli. It might even do more than Hemsworth did.

"Then what does this book have to do with two of my friends who died yesterday? Because as I recall they all made physical contact with the book before they suddenly became strange" Sean looked at Eli while questioning this. And Eli just shook his head in response.

After the incident Sean never let anyone make contact with the black book. Therefore when Laura made contact with the book Sean was very surprised. Moreover, according to the explanation from Laura, she could not open the book the same as Sean had experienced.

Sean begins to think that Laura may also be a reborn soul because according to Sean's estimation. He could not open the book because he was the soul he had reborn.

Sean immediately dismissed this. There are some things that make Sean does not justify his guess.

First because Laura seemed to know nothing when she opened the black book. It was as if he was indeed opening just purely out of curiosity.

Second, If Laura was a reborn soul then she would be just like Sean. At least Laura will have abilities that make her different. But as long as Sean is close to Laura Sean finds nothing special about the girl. Sean didn't think about this. Besides Laura should have her past memories as well as Sean's, but that's not the case.

Sean stared at the little black book in his hand. He could feel the changes to Violet's body.

Violet's entire body seemed to stop working. Sean could sense something was pulling him somewhere as if he was being controlled. Sean couldn't rebel because this wasn't his body.

Sean could see Violet walking towards the old building behind the main building. This made Sean become surprised and astonished.

"If I'm right then all the children who died at that time must have headed to this old building" Sean thought in his heart.

So far Sean has understood a little bit what all the children who come into contact with this little black book are going through.

If they all died under the same circumstances, then the person who did it was the same person.

Coupled with holes in every body of the deceased and deep horizontal lines in the Eyes of each person only one person who crossed Sean's mind was capable of doing that.
