Ch. 37 Ghost Woman's Memory

Sean saw in his hand a book containing material about animals. Sean guessed that it was a book on animal biology.

The ghostly woman is seen reading for a while and occasionally taking notes on what she thinks is important on a small notebook the size of an adult's palm. At the right end of the paper was written the name of the ghost woman.

Her name is Violetta Hepburn. He is eighteen years old at the moment. Violet is one of the top students at University of Health X.

For several months he entered until now in his second semester he has participated in various kinds of competitions.

In the second semester he also had an internship in one of the research laboratories of University of Health X. To hone his skills before being sent off campus for an internship at a hospital.

"Well.... I didn't think animal anatomy was so hard..." Violet complains while reading on the part of animal anatomy.

Sean, who has seen Violet's memory for some time, learns that Violet has a knack for human anatomy. But in the near future Violet will follow a race that has a theme about animals. And one of the materials that will be discussed is the Anatomy of animals.

Violet despite having remarkable achievements in the science of human anatomy but of course humans and animals are different. Violet looks quite overwhelmed practicing how to deal with problems in the organs in animals.

But talent makes things easier. It had only been a few hours since Violet first analyzed one of the vertebrate animals, but she was able to analyze the disease and how to overcome it. Talented students are different.

Sean was amazed because Violet was a fast learner. Although not as great as Sean used to be but you could say Violet is a seed superior in the world of medicine.

"The organ problem is over. All I have to learn now is the remaining part of the animal nerves" Violet said as she wiped the sweat off her forehead.

Violet glanced at her watch which was already showing at 17:00 and was intending to go home.

Violet walked back to the library intending to borrow a book, so she could study while she was at home.

The atmosphere of University of Health X is very calm but still seen some students who roam with thick files in their hands. Sean guessed they were all final semester students. At the end of the semester like this is indeed the toughest time for final semester students. They will be preoccupied with reports, proposals and the thesis they have to complete.

Violet was seen greeting the seniors who passed by her and they smiled back.

"Vio, you haven't come home yet?" Ask a female senior to Violet.

"I'll be home soon, brother. I want to borrow a book in the library first, in preparation for the race later" Violet said with a tired face to her senior.

The senior was seen chuckling and rubbing Violet's back. "It's a risk to be a genius...Hahaha" The woman laughed seeing the overwhelmed Violet represent the assortment of races the past few weeks.

Violet just smiled awkwardly and flattered to go to the library.

Some time has passed since Sean saw Violet's memories. Currently Violet had been in the library again and in her hands there were already about five stacks of books of varying thickness.

'Thud!'

Sean who also saw the book had a bad feeling.

When the book was already in Violet's hands, Sean could see a book the size of Violet's notebook that had a pitch-black cover and on top of the book was written the character of Blood red with the words 'I Am Scary'.

Sean widened his eyes. Sean is no stranger to this book. During this second life Sean has been figuring out the cause he can rise again because of the black book that Violet is in the hands of now.

Sean was still a student at the time and he asked his cousin Alex to help him get into Health X University, so Sean could roam around in Health X University as he pleased. As long as he's not in trouble then Alex won't reprimand him and let Sean as he pleases. Alex certainly knows that even though Sean is in someone else's body, but Sean's soul and memory are still his before he dies. Sean is also a genius kid so Alex doesn't mind him.

Sean found out about it all the time he accidentally got the book in the library first.

With his red eyes Sean could see the dense death aura of the black book and soon he learned that the book was dangerous. Sean picked it up but what happened was that he couldn't open it, it was as if it was locked tightly not letting anyone see what it contained.

Sean gives up on opening the book and plans to bring it back to his house. But in the middle of the journey Sean accidentally hit a girl.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean it" said the girl in a slight panic and immediately helped Sean tidy up his book that had fallen off.

Sean could see the girl feeling guilty, Sean looked at the girl for a while and saw pink hairpins adorning her hair. Sean says it's okay but the girl still apologizes making Sean a little awkward.

The little black book fell out and it just so happened that the girl took it when she helped Sean pick up the book.

But strangely after touching the book. The girl seemed to be someone else. His gaze became empty...

Sean looked at him in wonder. He grabbed the book in the girl's hand but the girl's expression did not change.

Sean kept the black book in his bag when suddenly the girl got up and walked out of the library.

"Sorry.." Sean said, but the girl did not answer, not even looking at Sean. Sean simply scratched his head in surprise and stepped away from there.

The next day news of someone being killed in the old building right behind the main building made Sean panic.

Sean knew full well the dangers of the old building. Sean goes to see the body of the student who had an accident and sees that she is a girl.

Sean stared at her for a while and his gaze was fixed on the pink hairpin that adorned his messy hair and was adorned with blood all around.

Sean flinched, his eyes widened and realized that this dead girl was the girl that had hit Sean yesterday. The girl's condition was very bad, in the middle of her chest there was a deep hole and her face was filled with blood. Horizontal lines etched into his eyes caused his eyes to suffer great damage. And the blood that filled his face was also from this wound.
