6. An Awakened Curiosity

The first filming will begin ...

The first day, Chanyoel with 3 fellow artists took a walk around the hill, then down the streets of Dusun. They try to get along with the villagers, and play with the children. It seemed like Chanyoel and his three themes could easily get along with the residents. They were even invited to eat together in one of the houses of the residents of Dusun.

In the afternoon, some residents took them fishing in the river adjacent to Hana and Baek Hyun's house. Chanyoel. He did not think there was still a house at the end of the lonely road.

“Oh .. there is a home also here,” he told one of the residents who escorted them.

“That's Rain's house and his wife. Unfortunately they don't exist. Rain escorted his wife to the opposite village to check her content.”

“Oh ..” Chanyoel.

“Later you will meet them. Rain used to go to sea with us.  Eum .. I think you're the same age.”

“Really? means he's young?”

"Yes, everyone knows Rain and his wife. Their presence brought many changes to our hamlet. They are very kind, friendly, smart. The building you're occupying is the plan. They are also immigrants here. But then become permanent residents here. When I meet later, I'll introduce them to you.”

"Alright .. I also became curious about him." Chanyoel said with a smile.

Luckily, this time, Hana can control herself. They managed to arrive at the opposite village even though Hana's face looked pale from seasickness. At least this time he did not vomit and did not faint again.

At one of the village puskesmas, Baek Hyun accompanied Hana to check on her pregnancy. The man was wearing a hat that covered as much of his face as possible for fear that anyone would recognize him.

“Tuan Rain, please see a doctor,” said one of the puskesmas officers.

“Baek Hyun got up and took his wife to see a doctor. Hana was stunned looking at the doctor who was reading the results of Hana's examination.

Her hair was cut short but her face looked so beautiful. It seemed that the doctor was unaware of Hana and Baek Hyun's presence in his room.

“Bu doctor ..” Hana's greeting makes the doctor look surprised and then chuckles.

“I am a man,” sahutnya make Hana surprised and instantly embarrassed. His half-body hidden behind the table makes Baek Hyun and Hana fooled by the man's appearance.

"I'm sorry,” said Hana while enduring embarrassment.

“No problem. This happens often for new patients. My name is Luhan, please sit."

“Oh yes, thank you.”

“So it's been 4 months?”

Hana nodded back.

“Actually you're still a little thin, your hips are also small. There's a chance you'll have a hard time getting the baby out, so there'll be a chance you'll give birth Cesar.” Obviously doctor Luhan is relaxed.

In contrast to Baek Hyun who was surprised by Luhan's outspoken explanation. Hana's face slowly turned deathly pale.

"Usahakan baby weight does not reach 3 kg.  Actually the heavier the better, but the mother will have trouble giving birth normally. What I did at the beginning was just a prediction. But you better be prepared because it could happen. Your baby is also healthy, only his mother is a little less fit.”

“My wife seasick.”

“Oh ... deserve it.”

"You live in Seberang Hamlet?”

“Iya,” replied Baek Hyun short.

“I will give vitamins to pregnant women.”

“Of course you can,” sambar doctor Luhan. “You can do it even if you are nine months old. But remember, you can't do it the same way you did before your wife got pregnant. Do it slowly and in the right position. Do not let your baby down, also not too often. It's not good for your baby, ” replied doctor Lu with a smile.

Hana's face immediately reddened in embarrassment, as did Baek Hyun. Hana pinched Baek Hun's waist until the man regained consciousness.

“I mean ... I mean not that, but ..”

“It ... baby photos in the stomach.” Keep Hana.

“Oh ... USG?”

“Iya,” replied Baek Hyun relieved.

“Oh ..” said doctor Luhan who became a little embarrassed after the misunderstanding earlier.  “There is no such tool here, unless you are to the city.”

Hana and Baek Hyun looked at each other. Obviously that's impossible for them to do.

"USG aims to determine the condition of the baby in the womb, gender and others. If your wife feels something uncomfortable, of course, it would be advisable to use USG. I think your wife's a healthy baby too."

Hana and Baek Hyun looked at each other again. They look relieved. "Thank you,” said Baek Hyun as he looked at doctor Luhan.

“Hopefully what the doctor said didn't really happen. We have a great healer in the hamlet. All the residents also acknowledged his prowess. Even I heard the residents there almost never checked her pregnancy into the health center, but everything was fine until they gave birth.”

“I hope so,” replied Baek Hyun. "I hope you and our baby will be fine until birth. But we also have to prepare for the possibility that the doctor said earlier.”

“Included ..” Hana did not continue her words.

“Iya .. if that time does have to happen, we cannot avoid it. We will face it together,” said Baek Hyun as he clasped his wife's hand.

“My wife and I used to live in the city. My job is exactly what the people who come here do. I used to be known everywhere. Maybe the people in the village across the street can recognize me. Only the people here don't know who I am. That's why I feel comfortable and safe here.

In the past, I had a problem that made me and my wife desperate to commit suicide by plunging into the abyss. But I drove the car at high speed until it hit the brink. Somehow we were thrown out of the car and ended up safe. While the car fell to the bottom of a very deep ravine. No one knew we were safe. From the news I saw and I heard that everybody made sure we were dead with that car. That's why my wife and I decided not to tell us where we were. My wife and I have been on the run for months. In the end we arrived here, arriving at a place where people did not know who we were and who deigned to accept our presence.”

“May I know what makes you reckless to do that?”

“The story is long ..” Baekhyun sighed before he told the truth. It was hard for him to bring up the old painful story.

“How ... will Rain come with us?” Ask one of the fishermen to break Aspir's daydream

“Why?” Aspir asked in surprise.

"Will Rain come with us? I didn't see him 2 days."

“His wife is pregnant, so she has to take care of her wife. You go with them.”

Second day filming ...

“South with the fishermen.”

Although just learning, Chanyoel and his three friends can follow the work of the fishermen well. Filming went well and was fun, especially for Chanyoel himself who likes to adventure and do new things like that. After the sea, Chanyoel and the fishermen held a small party along with cooking some of their catch around the inn. The activity was also part of their filming. Filming will continue the next day. They would cross the sea and sell their catch with the fishermen.

The presence of Chanyoel and his colleagues in the opposite Village along with the crew makes them an interesting spectacle by the Villagers in any village. Especially after the news they are artists who are filming at their place. Many villagers took the opportunity to take pictures with them including with the crew who were considered foreigners in the village.

The opposite village in question is already more advanced than the hamlet where Baek Hyun and Hana live. There is already an internet network, there is electricity even though it only turns on at night, and of course it can be reached by motor vehicles.

The sea results of the day sold out in an instant. After everything was sold out the crew and fishermen returned home to Dusun. Once there, the sale proceeds were divided, Chanyoel and his friends also got rations. Although they refused, they eventually relented to accept the results of their hard work together.

While lying down, Chanyoel smiled as he spread the money he received with his two hands. The money was much smaller than the income he received as an artist. But if you remember, the faces of the fishermen look so happy. Their work became fun because of the funny jokes of the fisherman.

“Rain ..”

The name of the man is often discussed by the fishermen who went to sea with him. To this day Chanyoel has not met the man. I don't know why the curiosity is getting worse.  Could they meet tomorrow?

“You're not tired?”  Jin asked as he lay beside Chanyoel.

“My body is indeed tired, but the mind is hard to forget our experience these few days.”

“Iya, it feels good. What are our activities tomorrow?”

“Saying director, we'll be filming in the garden. Maybe we will garden, harvest the garden and sell it again to the other village like that."

“True, it feels like it'll be fun again."

“Come sleep. We must prepare for tomorrow ...”

Filming was completed quickly. After learning to garden and harvest garden produce, the crew and artists were given free time to enjoy the atmosphere of Hamlet. Some of them are relaxing in the inn, some are walking to the beach, going fishing, visiting the homes of residents, and others.

Chanyoel himself chose to walk to the small river at the end of the Hamlet. He brought fishing gear because he wanted to go fishing there. As he passed the house at the end of the village, Chanyoel stopped his steps. Again the house looked like an arm. The owner of the house is what has made him curious. A person who is so famous in the Hamlet but never once he met or saw the figure. Chanyoel continued his steps towards the river. But after a few steps, he faintly heard the footsteps of someone not far behind him. The man turned his head, but there was no one there. He resumed his steps. But curiosity kept troubling his mind. May it be the sound of the steps of the owner of the house?

Chanyoel paused his intention and turned to the house earlier. Sure enough, there are people.

Instantly Chanyoel's blood rippled .. His chest suddenly rumbled and poured heat all over his body. The body immediately trembled. His widened eyes seemed to try to make sure the figure who was now standing behind him. So far Chanyoel still has difficulty believing in what is in front of him at this time.   The figure that Chanyoel noticed did not realize someone was staring at him. The man was busy pulling out the grass that grew around the garden in his yard. When the position of his body changed sideways, it was clearly visible. His smile that seemed satisfied eating his own garden further ensured the figure of himself known to Chanyoel.

Cold lava skated from under Chanyoel's reddened eyeballs. The hot air was felt more burning in his body to make his face also reddened. After making sure with great certainty, with firm steps he moved forward bringing about a turbulent sadness and anger in his soul.
