I Want to Calm Down

Doctor Leon lay in his bedroom bed. He thought of the words of Harry and Erisa. What they say is true. He cannot enter the Muslim world because of love or because of man. But because of the sincere intention from within his heart. Suddenly Jesica's mother went into her room.

"Tumben at this hour have you returned Leon? It's usually night" Jesica's mother said. It's rare that Doctor Leon comes home late in the afternoon. Usually late at night.

Doctor Leon turned his head towards Jesica's mother. His face looks gloomy.

"I came home late in the afternoon Bun" replied Doctor Leon.

"Definitely met the love one, didn't you?" ask Jesica's mother. He thought that his son had just met the woman he loved.

"Yes Bun" replied Doctor Leon. He had just met the person he loved.

Jesica's mother looked at her son's lethargic face. He knew his son must be upset.

"Is there a problem?" ask Jesica's mother. He believes his son is in trouble.

Doctor Leon wakes up. Sitting on the headboard. Looked at his mother's face.

"Yes Bun, it's not just a matter of course" replied Doctor Leon. The problem he faced was not an ordinary problem but a matter of faith. He can't play around with faith. He could not be with Erisa on top of differences of belief, because faith is very basic before stepping into a more serious level.

"Definitely a problem of faith?" guess Jesica's mother.

"Kok Mommy knows?" ask Dr. Leon. She hasn't told her mother about Erisa and the difference between her and Erisa.

You have the right to decide your own creed, but it must be from your heart" Jesica's mother said. "So you want a vacation?" ask Jesica's mother.

"No, I'm moving to work. There are not many doctors who specialize in liver cancer" replied Doctor Leon.

"You're gonna leave the one you love?" ask Jesica's mother.

"Yes, if you are a match, fate will determine at one point where we will meet and be together again" replied Doctor Leon. If he and Erisa were to be paired off, they would definitely meet and be together again. He believed that.

"Mother is proud of you" said Jesica's mother, stroking her son's head.

Doctor Leon smiled. Look at the woman who gave birth to him.

"Leon what if he's married to someone else while you're gone?" ask Jesica's mother.

"I'm sincere. The important thing is that he is happy" replied Doctor Leon. Trying to get chested if Erisa is not his match.

"You're great, son, this is just a mother's son" said Ms. Jesica. It is not easy to let someone you love for someone else.

Doctor Leon nodded. He has given it all to fate. If indeed he was a match with Erisa surely they would meet and be together without any differences that would separate or hinder their love.

That morning Doctor Leon was sitting in the bus. He wanted to go to Garut city to meet his grandfather and calm himself there. Doctor Leon boarded a bus headed for Jakarta-Garut. His eyes looked at the view outside from the glass of the bus. He was waiting for the bus to go to Garut. The bus is still waiting for passengers to get inside and fill the seats. This morning Doctor Leon had sent a message to Erisa. He did not expect Erisa to come but he wanted to hear her voice.

"Eh." Erisa stood beside the bus seat. Staring at the handsome, teary-eyed man sitting alone in a chair.

Doctor Leon turned his head towards Erisa. He smiled at the beautiful girl he loved.

"Who wants to go?" ask Erisa.

"Sit down!" doctor Leon's Pinta.

"We go outside first, it's crowded here" Erisa said. It was very crowded on the bus. There was a hawker and a passenger already sitting in his seat.

Doctor Leon nodded.

They both got out of the bus. Doctor Leon carried a large backpack on his back. He carries a lot of his luggage from his clothes to his work equipment. While Erisa looks relaxed with checkered clothes, levis pants that broad on her knees, and wearing a hat with long hair pout back.

The two of them sat on a chair under a tree. Still quiet. Haven't said anything yet. Both looking ahead.
