Catastrophe House
The Cooperation Show

“Alright, now eat fast!” aunt Oh's orders passed away leaving Hyeon Chul who was still tinkering at her food.

“Mother.” call Jennie to Mira who is staring blankly at the television.

Mira blinked several times until she turned to Jennie who looked at her in wonder.

“Eum? What's up?” mira asked after she managed to normalize her voice.

“It's been 1pm, I'm hungry.” muttered Jennie softly while caressing her stomach at the end of the word.

“Oh, okay. What do you want mom to cook?” tanya Mira leaned more on Jennie.

“Eum, I don't want to eat here. I want to eat out.” said Jennie looking at Mira with a pleading gaze.

Mira smiled and then turned off the TV talk show that just started at 1 o'clock. Actually Mira really likes the talk show but her son's request is more valuable than the comedy show.

“Alright, come!” said Mira pulled Jennie's hand which followed her from behind.

But Mira thought there was less than him, Mira immediately stopped her steps and turned towards Jennie.

“Mum hasn't brought a wallet yet! Also haven't washed your face, just a moment baby.” said Mira then walked away leaving Jennie who looked at her with annoyance.

Mira immediately opened the door of the room and her first look was fixed on the handsome face of her husband who looked innocent while sleeping. Unknowingly Mira's smile expands with a sincere look at the sleeping Dennis.

Mira awakens from her daydreams about Dennis, and the woman in the patterned yellow dress steps into the pastel drawer and opens it.

“Ah, where my wallet.” murmured Mira as slow as possible so as not to keep her husband awake.

“Search for what?”

A slow voice without any intention of surprise from Dennis was able to make Mira jumped in shock.

Slowly Mira turned to be afraid of Dennis who displayed his dull face with messy hair.

“Eum, my wallet. I forgot if I put it here or not. ” Mira replied softly until Dennis had to get close to Mira to hear it.

“Your wallet? You're really careless. Where do you want to go?” dennis asked sounded a little angry and upset from his intonation.

“Jennie wants to eat out so I need her. "said Mira looking down on Dennis' anger.

“Use my money, but I want to shower first.” murmured Dennis stood up and stepped towards the bathroom.

Mira looked up at Dennis leaving with a hurt look. He was again hurt with Dennis' cold attitude.

“Basic, grumpy! It's cold! Shitty!” maki Mira with a soft and fragile voice, she hates and loves her husband.

“Oh? Dad want to come?” jennie asked to see Dennis who was dressed casually and neatly walking along with Mira.

Dennis smiled faintly at Jennie and then immediately eliminated her back.

“Yes, your mother lost her wallet.” obviously Dennis looked at Jennie warmly and far from cold and indifferent.

“Ah, so.” muttered Jennie responded to Dennis' words a little stiff.

“Euh! Alright let's go!” mira exclaimed after arriving at Jennie and then pulled the child's hand.

Never Mira imagined it would be like this murky view of her small family, this silent atmosphere Mira never found in the family before. Even Jennie's mouth that always talks or sings used to be silent.

“Where are we going?” dennis asked still focused on the road ahead of him.

Mira with an agitated movement faced a glance towards Dennis who was beside her.

“Eum, the! Eat tteobokki. ” answered Mira pointed to a restaurant that only serves Korean specialties including tteobokki .

Back, after Dennis understood Mira's direction earlier. The atmosphere of the car returned to silence until Dennis' favorite car stopped.

“Oh, dad why stop?” tanya Mira found out that the silver car stopped right in front of the gate of the orphanage that was occupied by Hyeon Chul, as Mira recalls.

Mira still did not understand the answer from Dennis who was in a hurry, Mira turned to look at Jennie who was also looking at her in surprise.

“Mother comes out first, Jennie stays here.” Mira says straightforwardly to Jennie who nods according to her mother's orders.

Mira frowned at the sight of her husband as if he was talking to a small child.

Mira is getting closer to wanting to know who the little boy is because the little boy's body is covered with Dennis' sturdy back.

“Hyeon Chul.” muttered Mira after right beside Dennis who was crouching.

Hyeon Chul turned to Mira fearfully, quickly Hyeon Chul stood up from his seat on the ground and bowed respectfully to Mira who he knew was a grumpy figure.

“Eum, so can you?” dennis asked to continue the conversation that had been cut because of the arrival of Mira.

“I can't uncle. They even came to me last night through a dream.” Hyeon Chul replied after straightening his back again.

“What are you talking about?” mira asked not to understand the direction of their conversation.

“So then, do you want to eat with us at the store?” take Dennis while pointing at the restaurant at the end of the street, while trying to take sympathy from Hyeon Chul.

Dennis now believed in what his family told him and experienced.

“Euh, is Jennie coming?” hyeon Chul asked after some time of thinking.

Dennis nods to correct Hyeon Chul's question that Jennie relies on.

“Why they were so long.” Jennie watered after exhaling her upset breath.

Before long the three car doors from the front and side of Jennie opened giving the three human children a chance to enter. Jennie was certainly surprised at the presence of Hyeon Chul who began to occupy a seat beside her.

“Why are you here?” jennie's question was not immediately answered by Hyeon Chul because the man was busy pulling a seatbelt beside him.

“You guys are friends, right? What's wrong if we eat together?” frank Dennis glanced at the two boys backwards.

“Jennie why don't you wear this?” hyeon Chul asked, pointing her index finger at the security link she was using.

Jennie turned a little toward her own seatbelt that she did not wear and then pressed her shoulders.

“That's an unimportant item.” Jennie replied looking down on the seatbelt.

Hyeon Chul slightly clucked at Jennie's speech which he thought was wrong.

“What do you know if there will be an accident or not? All of that can happen anywhere, because it is always on standby using this thing.” explained Hyeon Chul long and no longer make Jennie open her voice.

Jennie nodded in understanding as she now knew what advantage she would have if she used it even though Hyeon Chul did not explain it directly. And it turns out this 9-year-old boy is so good at talking.

Dennis gave a small smile hearing all those Korean conversations, they were really close like brothers.

“It's up!” dennis exclaimed in Korean he told 3 people there.

*

“Thank you uncle!” hyeon Chul said she bowed respectfully to Jennie's family in the car.

Shortly after that the silver car sped away splitting the deserted road. Hyeon Chul did not want to erase his happy smile because of the harmony of a family he got back. Even if only for a moment.

“Waha! Look who's home! Where have you been?” asked the head of the orphanage with his cynical face.

“Do you have new parents? There with them! Don't ask me to eat again!” the woman's orders screamed until it sounded in the corner of the main courtyard of this dull building.

Hyoen Chul felt so scared, he felt his ears were so hot and his eyes felt watery. He tried to look up even though fear was still emanating in the eyes of the child.

“I just ate together.” explained Hyeon Chul with a voice shaking in fear.

“Yes, then don't eat dinner later and you won't get rations tomorrow!” said the woman immediately walked quickly into her luxury car and intended to leave the orphanage.
