Catastrophe House

Catastrophe House
Terror On Jennie

“What are you doing there?” ask someone from across there.

That's how Jennie, she would make a video call with her grandparents if she couldn't sleep.

“Emm, I didn't do anything Grandpa. Just at home.” Jennie replied after thinking for a while.

Cklek!

Jennie's door opened and Jennie knew it must be her mother and told her to go to bed.

“Iya ma'am, I will go to sleep soon.” said Jennie without turning to the figure she thought her mother was.

“Darling, that, is that your mother?” asked Grandpa Jennie a little stammered seeing the woman who turned her back on Jennie was not a daughter-in-law.

Jennie frowned and began to turn to face her mother.

A thousand was right, the woman was not her mother, blackened skin like burning, messy hair and a broken face and far from beautiful as her mother was looking at her with a grin.

“I have not said, You should sleep.” muttered the woman then immediately threw a stone that hit right on the glass screen of Jennie's phone.

Jennie could only widen her eyes and shed tears as fear approached her.

Brak!

Jennie's bedroom door closed very tightly making Jennie regain consciousness. His phone died but did not cause any damage there, what was he experiencing right or just hallucinations?

.****.

This sunny morning was so taken advantage of by the residents of this complex, they started to come out of their homes and run small breaths of fresh air that had not been mixed with pollution.

Mira with her busyness in the kitchen makes her not go out and greet her new neighbors, she should have as much time for her husband.

“Jennie! Why don't you wake up the kid?” dennis asked Mira after he sat in the dining chair.

Mira looks smiling and greets her husband for the first time today.

“Entailah, maybe he was tired after calling your father.” replied Mira who was still clashing with tools in the kitchen.

Dennis who also heard that Jennie last night was talking to her father over the phone just nodded in understanding.

“For dad, morning mom.” say hello Jennie impressed lethargic while going down the stairs.

“Pagi. Did Jennie call Grandpa last night?” dennis asked after he drank a mouthful of black coffee in his hand.

Jennie turned to Dennis and nodded her head.

"Grandpa didn't tell Mom or Dad anything?" dennis asked again this time answered by Jennie.

“No,” Jennie replied while thinking.

“Then did you hear the sound of the door closing loudly from my room?” jennie asked after a few seconds she considered whether she should ask.

“The door sounds closed? I don't know, your father and mother are too busy watching television.” replied Dennis uncertain.

“Why bring me too? What are you talking about?” sela Mira who heard Dennis' words.

“Tak what.” replied Dennis calmly as he continued to dip a roll of fresh bread into a coffee cup and ate it.

Seeing Dennis acting ridiculous Mira also returned to talking.

“Dad! Don't teach your son to behave dirty like you!” mira's protest ruffled her waist after she turned off her cooking stove.

Dennis looked up at Mira and then he immediately pulled the bread and ate the rest of the bread as soon as possible.

“What? The kinsman? You don't know how to eat like this dad will taste different, if you don't believe try to put it in dad's coffee!” dennis orders Jennie to give her coffee mug.

“Dad!” mira shouted in warning as she approached the dining table and placed a medium-sized bowl filled with fried rice.

Jennie chuckled at this debate between her parents.

“I told you not to!” said Mira was anxious and then hit her husband's arm slowly.

“What's wrong with doing that? If it doesn't make people sick it means it's fine.” martial Dennis then take the fried rice to his plate.

“Then keep doing it like that! And do not eat fried rice.” threatened Mira while tightly grasping the arm of Dennis who took his fried rice.

“Yes! I won't do it!” dennis said he sounded anxious about his wife's behavior.

“Heum, good.” muttered Mira invited Dennis' hand movements to take fried rice.

*

“Honey! Come here Jennie, what are you doing there?” call Mira as her eyes continue to be glued to the television then her mouth and hands are busy peeling off the boiled peanuts and eating them.

Jennie leaned against the wall while facing the door of the house finally answered her mother's call.

“Ya mom!” jennie replied listlessly and approached her mother in the living room.

“Eum? Why is your face sluggish? You sick?” tanya Mira pulled Jennie's body slowly and took her to the sofa where Mira was sitting.

“No, but my friend hasn't come yet. Though he said he would come this morning.” muttered Jennie at the end he said.

Mira frowned confused at Jennie's explanation.

“Who is your friend?” mira asked back while putting Jennie's hair behind her ear.

Jennie looked surprised to find out what she was saying.

“No, I've only ever seen a little boy here.” Jennie was nervous and tried to turn her eyes on Mira.

“Hyeon Chul? The little boy is coming again?” tanya Mira intimidates.

Jennie is shocked when Mira finds out that Hyeon Chul is the one she was referring to.

“Why are you friends with him? Do you know who he is?” ask Mira bertubi.

Jennie couldn't answer because she was too nervous and scared.

“M-why mom? He's just a little kid.” defend Jennie with the rest of her courage.

Mira let out a long sigh trying to temper her anger.

“Mommy wants to go to the room first.” Mira waddles away leaving Jennie.

“Hah! The boy always denied my words.” muttered Mira put down her body of the king-size basket.

“Ah! Mother always forbid me to do anything.” said Jennie staring back at the door of her parents' room then she began to sit quietly on the sofa and enjoy the boiled peanuts from her mother.

“If I report again Jennie's behavior to Dennis will I be scolded by the man of one child? Should I report.” muttered Mira then started trying to pick up her phone that was on top of the drawer next to the bed.

The movement of Mira's hand continued to propagate until she felt her hand holding also a cold and hard hand.

Mira almost squealed if only she did not realize that it would lure her son to the top.
