"Dad, I want permission to go outside" After waiting for half an hour Livy decided to say the intent of her arrival.
The duke looked at his steadfast daughter wanting to go out, he knew that if her daughter must be tired of being in the mansion yet he could not stop being anxious.
Since the last time Livyana went out and came back sick she was always anxious whenever Livyana wanted to get out.
"Dad will let you if you go with your brother" Duke could only compromise with his daughter because there was no way he would continue to lock her up in the mansion.
Livy actually wanted to refuse but she thought it was okay to go with her brother instead of with dozens of soldiers.
"Um fine, then I say goodbye to you" Livy bowed politely and then walked away. The Duke could only stare sadly at his daughter who was keeping a distance with him.
It was known to Livy through the duke's gaze. He sighed stepping forward pecking at Duke's cheek. Although awkward but Livy tried not to show it.
The duke's mood rises as Livyana kisses his cheek. Livy who could see it clearly only smiled faintly.
After that Livy returned to her room and prepared to leave she planned to leave.
...
Livy leaned lazily while looking out, thinking how to trick her sister because Livy went with Isgrid.
He could tell if he wouldn't be able to move freely if he didn't get rid of her. The goal is to go out to find information.
"Sir Isg, I want to read in the library until what afternoon do you want to be with me?" of course Livy invited Isgrid because he knew he was not a person who likes to read. That's why he took Isgrid and not Lisgred.
"I want to be with you" replied Isgrid hesitantly, he wanted to accompany his sister but he was completely anti against books only Lisgred was fond of reading books.
Livy smiled faintly, she knew if Isgrid hesitated, she would naturally have to give him an excuse not to continue following her.
Livy smiled and said "If Isg has a job, you can go first and pick me up later in the afternoon".
Isgrid's eyes shone when he heard Livy's words, however he was worried. At first he still had some work but he did not want to miss out with his sister.
Moreover, he will die of boredom if he continues to be in the library. "It doesn't matter, I'm afraid something's going on without me beside you"
"No problem, sister, I won't leave the library unless you pick me up. Also we can take a walk in the market later"
Livy knows if her brother wants to spend time with her but she still has business so she can only fool her sister into leaving her alone.
He should have room for privacy. Livy smiles at Isgrid and acts as a caring sister.
Although Isgrid was not stupid, his IQ and EQ decreased when he was with his sister. She always trusts Livy unconditionally to the point that she won't say no to Livy.
"Well, I'll pick you up later. Remember don't go alone" Isgrid patted Livy's head gently as if she was a fragile porcelain doll.
"I'll be waiting for you" Livy nodded obediently.
...
Upon arrival at the library Livy immediately entered with dalin. While Isgrid went to the palace on horseback.
"Dalin I hope you don't divulge what I'm doing and I'm talking about here" Livy said coldly.
"Miss is my only master" he replied obediently, however he had often witnessed his nona doing things without the knowledge of the Duke or his two brothers.
"That's great" Livy could see if Dalin knew one thing, he wasn't surprised or panicked and didn't try to stop it, as if this happened often.
At first he still did not believe in Dalin but his reaction and answer made him sure that Dalin was really on his side. Not his enemies or his father and brother.
Livy thinks that Dalin is more like a slave than a subordinate, however, he obeys all his words without objection.
"That's great if you understand" Livy was a little sorry for not testing Dalin's loyalty early otherwise she would definitely not bother looking for information.
'i'll ask her later, after all it's no secret if I lose my memory' her inner self as I keep going.
...
Livy looked at the library in awe, however this place was so quiet and comfortable that it made others reluctant to leave.
She couldn't stop admiring him, though she didn't show it on her face anyway Livy was very good at hiding her expression.
He started exploring the shelves with bright sparkling eyes, he would pick up any book he found interesting and worth reading.
