"Who are you" asked the Duke in a cold tone and murderous gaze, he knew for sure that the person in front of him was the one who kidnapped his daughter.

He was eager to slash the head of the man before him, but he could not do so because it concerned the safety of his daughter.

While Isgrid is trying to hold back his anger, he wants to tear Livy's kidnapper apart, but the situation is not possible so he will remember the face of the man before him so that later he can tear her apart.

The man smiled smirk as he looked at the furious gaze from Isgrid and the murderous gaze from the Duke.

"You can call me Axe and can you keep this sword so that we can have a comfortable discussion" he said still with a smile on his face but there was little threat to his chest.

The duke looked at Axe coldly, he sighed then lowered his sword, he then stuffed it back into its sheath.

Spring

"Tell me" said the Duke in a cold tone, he closed his eyes to soak his anger after it was gone he then reopened it.

"What do you want" said Duke still in a flat tone, he quite understood the situation if the enemy wanted to negotiate with him for the terms of his daughter's freedom, he said, but of course it depends on the conditions requested by him.

'He wants to threaten me using Livy, then I'll show you what the consequences of his actions are' Inner Duke with full fury.

He would definitely not let go of everyone involved in this kidnapping. And he knows exactly who's behind this kidnapping.

Axe smiled before answering Duke's question. "You're very impatient".

"Don't mince words" the Duke interrupted in a cold tone, he didn't want to hear the joke Axe made.

"Ahhaha, okay. Duke Reichburgh my lord wants you to cooperate with us" he said, bowing respectfully.

"You're joking, why should I cooperate with the person who kidnapped my daughter" the Duke said with a sword-sharp look.

Axe smiled after hearing Duke's reply but soon put on a serious face, He lowered his body a little as a sign if he was not playing games.

"Sir I really want to cooperate with you. You must know his purpose, and for your daughter we only invite her to tea, while waiting for our discussion to finish" Axe explained with a smile painted on his face but his tone was a little threatening.

"Do you want us to believe your words" said Isgrid with anger, he looked at Axe with a murderous gaze, he wanted to step up to slash Axe's neck but the duke stopped him.

"Why should I obey you" Duke said in a flat tone.

"Of course for the sake of comfort of all of us" Axe spread out his hands, he tilted his head and looked at Duke with a smirk smile.
