Livy returned to her room after a brief chat with the Duke who asked about her trip earlier. For the time being he only wanted to relax before the actual battle.

At first he was a little surprised because the number was quite a lot but he quickly regained his composure, although many but only a few had high quality mostly low-grade artifacts with not enough useful magic.

But if it is known by the magic tower they may die of anger, because Livy does not appreciate the artifacts are very rare even though their function is inadequate.

However it was extremely difficult to create a high-level artifact, otherwise the artifact would not be rare. They would be furious if they found out that Livy considered a low-level artifact like an ordinary gem.

He would give artifacts with Defense magic that could dispel high-level magic, it was suitable for his father. An artifact with light magic that could heal all wounds for Isgrid and a teleportation artifact that could make its user teleport short without a marker for Lisgred.

And for Juan himself he will give him an anti-magic artifact that makes all magic attacks lower than the level of its user in abort.

High-level magic artifacts were different from other artifacts that could be worn by anyone. Magic artifacts have a consciousness that makes them only usable by the person who is the master.

To become the master of a magic artifact by himself then he must be recognized by the artifact itself. Simply dripping blood on the artifact if his blood was absorbed meant that he was already recognized by the artifact. A high-level magic artifact could only be snatched if the previous owner had died.

Livy learned this from the lessons that Lisgred had learned.
