CHASING THE LOVE OF THE TEACHER
The Arjuna (Flashback)

“Tumben clock as soon as you go to the office,” greet papa Arman once saw Arjuna enter his room.

“There needs to be the same Papa.”

Today Arjuna accidentally stopped by Papa Arman's office because his heart was getting worse when he saw Cilla was enjoying his happiness getting a surprise from Dono and his classmates.

Today, his beloved baby duck finally entered the age of seventeen years. If everything goes according to the original plan, soon the girl will officially bear the status of Arjuna's wife.

“If there is no need where you will specifically come to see Papa,” replied papa Arman while moving from his chair to the sofa.

Arjuna sat on the sofa.

“What other problems are there ? Your business of retreating as a teacher has it all worked out?”

Papa Arman frowned. Actually he can guess the purpose of Arjuna's arrival, just by looking at his son's face.

Papa Arman had a little laugh when he heard his son's words.

But when faced with the fact that your future wife is a young girl who is ready to support you, you are even behind your own fears. “Surely you two will receive and support each other?” papa Arman's eyes squeaked, making sure that his only son was confident in his request.

Papa Arman fell silent, considering Arjuna's request. Indeed, papa Arman and mama Diva are not completely angry at Arjuna and Cilla, instead they hope the two can be aware and re-unite.

At 6:15 the three were already sitting together at a table in the promised restaurant.

Arjuna was more silent and just a listener because from the beginning met Papi Rudi's gaze looked indifferent and cold to him.

Although the two fathers chatted as usual and discussed many things, but what Arjuna felt was the tension and pounding of his heart.

“Iya, Om. I asked Papa for help to accompany me to meet with Om,” Arjuna immediately replied to papa Arman open his voice.

Papi Rudi just kept silent and took his drink without turning his head towards Arjuna.

“I want to apologize for the cancellation of my marriage and Cilla. I've talked everything back to Cilla and we really expect Papa and Om to give us the blessing to be together again.”

Papi Rudi was still in a silent mode and there was no reaction whatsoever in responding to Arjuna's heart expressions.

“I really love Cilla, Om. I am ready to carry out my duties and responsibilities as Cilla's husband, take care of Cilla as my wife and take care of the business that will belong to Cilla until her age is sufficient. Please bless us back, Om,” pinta Arjuna with pleading face.

“Why suddenly change your mind ?” ask Papi Rudi in a flat voice.

”Sorry because I was a coward, Om, but my heart never turned away from Cilla. I always loved and loved Cilla, only I was afraid to imagine something that might not have happened. Arjuna awaits the reaction of Papi Rudi who is still in silent mode.

At least, now Arjuna has expressed his feelings in front of Papi Rudi.

“It's night, I have to go back first, Man. Today is Cilla's birthday. I promised him not to come home tonight.”

Papi Rudi got up from his chair and hung up Arjuna's plea making the man a little uneasy.

“So today is Cilla's birthday ?” Papa Arman asked without alluding to his son's request.

“Yes, and I hope it's not too late to celebrate after nine years of neglecting Cilla's every birthday. I'm back first, Man,” said Papi Rudi while smiling typhoid.

Without saying goodbye to Arjuna, Papi Rudi left the restaurant.

Arjuna sighed and papa Arman could only smile thinly while patting his son's shoulder.

It feels like Arjuna also wants to run to meet Cilla, say happy birthday while hugging his favorite duck child.

“Juna will be patiently waiting, Pa,” said Arjuna trying to smile with a mediocre expression.

While at home, Cilla stared at her phone with a sad face. No messages let alone a phone call from Arjuna.

There is no way the man forgot because Mama Diva and Amanda had said it through a video call, there was even a delivery of Cilla's favorite fruit pudding.

Cilla let out a long breath. Congratulations from the person he was waiting for did not come, but one sentence from Arjuna will be an oasis of the antidote to his thirst.
