CHASING THE LOVE OF THE TEACHER

CHASING THE LOVE OF THE TEACHER
Sharing an Old Story

“What Cilla can know the real problem, Auntie ?” cilla asked carefully and a curious face.

Mami Siska who had broken Theo's embrace, grabbed Cilla's fingers and began to tell stories.

“We brothers have been orphans since Sylvia 2nd grade Junior High School and 3rd grade aunt. Mother died of a fall in the bathroom and two weeks later, the father who had long suffered from lung pain finally followed the mother. Since then, the aunt who had been working part-time since 1st grade High School, took over the duties as a parent and sister for Sylvia. But it seems like the problem is becoming our friend. At graduation, the aunt was framed with a male friend who turned out to make aunty as their bet. Until finally pregnant aunt Theo. Initially the aunt wanted to abort him, but Sylvia forbade and promised to help raise a fetus that was already in the womb aunt. Until finally Theo was born, Sylvia who was then in 3rd grade school Junior High, helped take care of Theo while aunty worked in the afternoon. A life full of struggle we passed while raising Theo. Entering High School, Sylvia herself began working as SPG only on weekends, because every day after school she had to replace her aunt and Theo. Until one day Sylvia met with Rudi as an exhibition visitor. If it's not wrong then your mother has just climbed 3rd grade High School and is working to fill her long vacation time. Two-year-old Theo is more entrusted to neighbors during your aunt and mother's work. It turns out that Rudi, who has just returned from his studies abroad, falls in love with Sylvia and begins to intensely approach her until they finally date. But unfortunately their relationship is not approved by Rudi's parents who are from a rich family. Especially when she found out that Sylvia had a niece who was born without a father. Humiliation continues to be thrown by Rudi's family, that's why the aunt told Sylvia to break their relationship and stay away from Rudi and his family. But Sylvia who was too in love with Rudi still chose to stay despite frequent fights with aunt. Which is surprising when Sylvia says that she will donate one of her kidneys to Rudi who really needs it. Though their relationship is new and has not been running for a year, even then Sylvia will take her final High School exam.

That night we had a big fight until the aunt decided to split up with Sylvia. Aunty told him to get out of the house by providing him with some money and promised to keep paying for his college if he wanted to continue his education. And at that time, the aunt's heart grew disappointed because Sylvia chose to go and separate from the aunt and still decided to donate one of her kidneys. Eventually Rudi's family accepted Sylvia as their daughter-in-law after Rudi insisted on receiving Sylvia's kidney after they were legally and religiously married. Both of Rudi's parents had no choice, as Rudi was their only child who would carry on their descent and efforts.

Before everything was done, the aunt was still trying to meet Sylvia to prevent her from giving her one kidney even though she would be married off by Rudi. Auntie believes that Rudi's parents are forced to accept the aunt's sister and their treatment will not change much after getting what they want. That night even threatened and gave an ultimatum, if Sylvia still forced to give her kidney and married Rudi, then our relationship as siblings ended. Aunty would no longer consider him a sister.  It turns out that the threat of aunty is not digubris by Sylvia who is stubborn and already in love with Rudi. He accepted the aunt's decision and did it all without the aunt's blessing. Since then, the aunt has never been in contact with Sylvia either by phone or by mail.

It turns out what aunt thought happened. After Rudi's condition improved because he had gotten a kidney donor, Rudi's parents, especially his mother, often insulted Sylvia who did not get pregnant after her marriage lasted 2 years. Even aunty had heard from Mr. Trimo that his mother Rudi had proposed to pay the womb of another woman to get their offspring. But it is difficult for the aunt to pull Sylvia from that painful situation, because now she is already the wife of people, so the rights and responsibilities of her life are in the hands of her husband.”

“Tante is familiar with Mr Trimo and Bik Mina ?” cilla asked when she heard the name of her nanny who was like her adoptive parents was called.

“Bik Mina and Mr. Trimo have worked with Rudi's family before your mother got married. Aunty had known them when she came to the opa house and your oma to convey that as a sister, aunt objected to Sylvia's intention to donate her kidney. We had a fight because we did not find an agreement, but because Sylvia as a donor did not object, the aunt could not do anything. When the aunt wanted to go home, the couple met the aunt and said that the aunt should not worry about Sylvia, they promised to take good care of Sylvia.”

“Then regarding the paid uterus, does papi follow the request of oma ?” cilla asked with a slight tremble. There was fear in her heart if the answer given by Mami Siska did not match her expectations.

“Tante don't know about it Cilla. Excuse me. Since Sylvia's decision to run everything with or without the aunt's blessing, the aunt went to bring Theo to America and worked as an illegal power there. Until finally the aunt was met by a man who made aunty pregnant and is the biological father of Theo. It turns out that Theo's papa had been looking for a aunt and wanted to apologize and take responsibility for his actions that night. Om Rio, the name of papi Theo, does everything under the influence of a drug deliberately given by his friends so that he loses the bet. Especially after knowing that he has Theo, all the ways he does to prove his regret and sincere intentions are responsible, because it turns out he actually loves aunty when in High School. Aunty took 1 year to convince herself to accept Om Rio as husband and father of Theo's aunt. Moreover, his family also opposed Rio's decision to marry aunty and raise Theo, even though it has been proven that Theo is their biological grandson. But whose name mate will not run away, maybe that's exactly how Cilla. We finally got married and run the household until now,” said Mami Siska with a smile and patted the fingers of Cilla who was still in his grasp.

Theo picks up a drink glass for Siska's mom and signals Cilla to have a drink as well. The girl complied and took a drink that was provided by the waiter.

The atmosphere was silent because both Cilla and Mami Siska dissolved in their respective minds on the old memories that were quite sad and painful.

“After marriage, his papa Theo invites us to move to London to accompany him to pioneer his business there. At that time Theo was 6 years old. Since then, her aunt has never sent word or found out about Sylvia again. Until we finally returned to Indonesia when Theo entered Junior High School and his papi set to send Theo to Indonesia until graduating high school. Not long after we returned to Indonesia, your opa and oma died in a plane crash. Om had invited aunty to serve because it turns out the om family is one of your opa and oma business partners. But the aunt who has hardened her heart, refused the invitation and asked her not to tell Sylvia about our marriage. From there the aunt knows that the aunt's sister already has you who was 3 years old, but the aunt did not know that at that time Sylvia was undergoing treatment because of her kidney pain.”

“What Aunt doesn't know when mom dies?” cilla asked with a sad face. Mami Siska shook her head and was unable to hold back her tears given the incident.

“Tante only found out after Sylvia was buried. It was told by Theo's omniscience. At that time the aunt could not go home because her papa Theo was sick and had to be hospitalized in London. Although the aunt's husband had told her to return to Indonesia, but as a wife, where it might leave her husband alone in a state of illness. Forgive aunt, Cilla.”

Cilla wiped away the tears that slowly came out of the corner of her eyes and grabbed onto Siska's fingers and held onto them.

“It's okay Auntie, it's all gone. Mami's hard attitude is also what makes Aunt finally decided to do it all. Cilla believes that Aunt's affection for mommy never runs out. All these well-stored photos prove how much love Aunty on mami, until it feels like Aunty is not willing to throw all the same good memories mami.”

Mami Siska immediately hugged Cilla and sobbed in Cilla's arms, while the girl also still shed tears despite not sobbing.
