CHASING THE LOVE OF THE TEACHER
Chapter 6 From Zero Point

Arjuna stood at the door of his room. This Friday afternoon, he really gave up his status as an employee and CEO of papa Arman company.

Arjuna took a deep breath and with a heavy heart, he closed the door that seemed to be the barrier to his new life.

Just like before, Arjuna rode on a bumpkin to meet Dono. They have made an agreement to find a cheap and decent boarding place and it is not far from the school.

“Let elo be economical cost, Bro. If it is too far apart in addition to time problems also cost.” said Dono on the phone on Thursday afternoon.

30 Minutes Arjuna had arrived at the promised place. Dono has sent the location point via mobile phone. The man looked for his friend who had not arrived.

Arjuna took a handkerchief out of his pants pocket. Two days everywhere on the ojek, Arjuna began to feel how high the level of street pollution in Jakarta. Just one trip away, his face felt sticky.

“Sorry I'm late,” Dono pat Arjuna on the shoulder from behind.

Dono stepped forward to one of the alleys, which was only 50 meters from where they were standing.

“The path is rather narrow, Jun, can only pass the motor. But the environment here is quite comfortable and safe. Neighbors know each other. The owner of the boarding house is a religious leader who is quite respected here, Pak Haji Sobri. But the one managing is his eldest son, Firman.”

Arjuna listened to Dono's explanation while paying attention to the environment he passed through. In the afternoon like this, seen some mothers and small children playing and talking in front of their houses which are quite close together.

Some of them nodded their heads and smiled at Dono and Arjuna. A handsome man with a cool appearance invites the attention of mothers both old and young. Dono and Arjuna reply to them in the same way.

Arriving at the boarding house, Arjuna saw 2 empty rooms that were still left. All of its residents are male and some rules are clearly affixed in some parts of the house including the main entrance.

At Dono's suggestion, Arjuna chose a room on the 2nd floor. Without indoor bathroom and AC, free wifi and complete furniture. For the cost of washing clothes, residents of the boarding house will be charged an additional fee. Arjuna also paid the boarding fee for the next month.

Dono again invited him to eat at a simple restaurant nearby. Along the way he also explained many cheap dining places, the location of the kilo laundry stall, and many things that need to be known by Arjuna as the first person to feel like a boarding boy.

“Elo already have a bank account, Jun ?” dono asked as the two sat down and ordered some food.

Today I have rames rice. Both take a frugal package with a menu of 2 vegetables and 1 side dish.

“Not yet. My old account was blocked, until his ATM card was taken bokap.”

“Then tomorrow I anterin create a new account. Select the bank according to the school used for salary transfer,”saran Dono.

“But I don't know if it will be accepted or not.”

“Accepted or not, today will be a hassle if you do not have a bank account. Moreover, we will live in Jakarta, almost all payments can use QRIS. Elo want every time you ride ojol must be ready for dime to pay the cost?”

Arjuna just nodded because his mouth had just been filled with food. What Dono said was right. Nowadays it is better for people to miss a wallet than a cell phone.

“Tomorrow on Saturday, Don. Doesn't the bank close all ?”

Arjuna just laughed softly. He had heard and received information through the application message that some banks still serve transactions on weekends. But where the bank opened, Arjuna never knew, because as far as he remembered that passing through the bank buildings in the streets, everything was closed, only ATM cubicles were opened.

Arjuna had returned to the Hartono house by nightfall. After the affair with Dono is finished, Arjuna complies with Theo's invitation to meet with Luki and Boni at the cafe where they usually gather.

Unlike the last arrival of Arjuna, today the man only ordered iced lemon tea with the reason of fullness because he had just been invited to eat by Dono.

None of his friends questioned Arjuna's condition further. Just a question of employment, they do not want Juna to be completely unemployed . They also provide support if Arjuna is accepted to work as a teacher.

Arjuna rushed to the bathroom. His body feels so sticky. Twice ride ojol today, from the office to the boarding house and then continue again to the cafe. Returning home, Luki kindly escorted him.

Arjuna stood under the shower. His sight was going around the bathroom. He also smiled bitterly. All these luxuries will only be enjoyed until the day after tomorrow. The bathrooms in the boarding house and the house are like the earth with the sky. There the bathroom and the toilet are made separately. Each bathroom only features 1 large bucket with a dipper plus a regular shower hose, without hot water.

Finished cleanly, Arjuna checked the phone on the nightstand. Hope there's a message from Luna who missed calling him this past week. Arjuna had sent several messages and replied that he was busy with his office program. Even these past 4 days, Luna had not read Juna's message at all.

Under the phone, Arjuna placed a white envelope that Tino gave him before lunch.

“Bro, this is the elo salary deposit from HRD. Because elo no account, so given cash.”

Arjuna's heart immediately felt happy. His brain is smooth about counting let alone money, immediately sparkling to calculate the amount he will receive. Great work of 3 weeks.

But his face immediately spurted disappointment when he found only ten pieces of money hundreds. Arjuna thought that the thin envelope contained a cash check that he could cash out at any time.

“Why just this, No ?” Arjuna looked at his assistant with a frown.

Arjuna breathed as much as possible and exhaled violently from disappointment. The addition of his salary is only 1 million, and the rest given by Papa Arman is still 1 million because 850,000 of his were used to pay the boarding money and the rest for other purposes for several days.

Arjuna snorted in annoyance. Still had time papa Arman insinuated himself, through Tino also delivered his message.

Arjuna again smiled bitterly as he recalled his conversation with Tino over salary issues. But his heart was determined to prove that he could be a great man without all the facilities of Papa Arman.

Arjuna laid down his body that felt physically and spiritually tired. His eyes glared to the ceiling. Sometimes it comes to his mind to pull his talk and accept an arranged marriage from papa.

“A real man will not lick back the spit he has thrown to the ground. I definitely can, should be able to !”

Arjuna was monologuing on himself. His eyes slowly closed until he finally fell asleep because he was too tired.
