Chapter 25: Farewell

"Are you sure you want to get out of town?" ask Jessy.

He looked at Fika's face. His best friend decided to move to another city after a commotion on campus.

"We're going straight to the apartment, huh?" ask Mark.

Jessy turned her head towards Mark, giving the man a serious look.

"May I tell you a story?" ask Jessy.

"Sure," said Mark.

"The friend I just delivered, she's the woman who once took me on vacation in England. She just got kicked out of college" Jessy said.

"Why?" ask Mark curiously.

"She was caught cheating on people's husbands" Jessy said.

As if he wanted to reveal to Mark that his position is the same as Fika who chose the path of life as a mistress of married men.

Mark understands Jessy's feelings. He stroked the top of Jessy's head to give Jessy a sense of security.

"Don't be afraid, Baby. What happens to your friends will not happen to you. Because I'll be standing next to you" Mark said.
