Chapter 4: Secret Boyfriend

"You're not dating Justin, are you?" ask Magda again.

Jessy was trying to develop a smile. "No, Ma. We're just friends. If by chance together, maybe there is a group task. I was too busy at college and work, where I thought about going out" Jessy said.

"Yes, I guessed so. You're a smart kid who would prefer to focus on learning."

"According to Justin's mother, he was also very focused on his studies. After graduation I want him to continue S2 abroad so that you can all help his father's business."

Jessy could only smile wryly.

"Ah, yes. Do you think Justin is being close to someone? I'm afraid her focus is disrupted when she starts dating."

Jessy could imagine how angry Ms. Magda would be if she knew the woman in question was her. "I don't know, Mom," she replied.

"Yes already. You can go out, Jessy. Studying hard, yes!"

Jessy left Magda's room.

His heart felt sad, poignant, and sliced. She hesitates to continue her relationship with Justin. I don't think they have a future. Ms. Magda must have wanted her son to have a matching partner.

Jessy was aghast in shock as her hand was suddenly pulled by someone. Without saying anything, he was forced to walk after the man.

The man holding his hand right now was Justin, the person he had just discussed with Bu Magda. From the back he looks cool, his posture is good.

Justin led him to the rooftop on the third floor. Access to the place is quite quiet because there is no lecture room in the area.

Arriving above the considered safe, Justin could not resist hugging his girlfriend. For her, it was very difficult to meet Jessy. The woman often refuses to meet for fear of being caught by others.

"Where have you been? I didn't see you all day, too" Justin complained.

"I have a little business with the lecturer" replied Jessy.

Justin takes off his hat, revealing messy hair that makes him look handsome. He looked at the beautiful face of the woman before him deeply.

The wind-blown hair covered Jessy's face behind her ears. Romantically, he held Jessy's head while giving a soft kiss on her lips.

One second was not enough for him to shake his lips there. Even if he wanted to keep his lips together.

The kiss he gave at least gave a sense of relief. To do so alone need to be stealthy in order to maintain the confidentiality of their relationship.

"So I met Fika, she got angry. Said you were having a problem but I'm not helping you" Justin said. He put his head on Jessy's lap sitting against the wall.

Jessy feels like she wants to pin Fika's head right now. He told me not to say anything to Justin.

"I don't have a problem" Jessy said.

"Don't lie! Fika says you were kicked out of the house. You're having trouble paying for college, aren't you?"

One thing Justin doesn't like very much, Jessy always hides trouble from him.

Jessy bit her own lips. Fika really missed saying all that to Justin. His self-esteem seemed to drop directly in front of his own lover.

"Have it, I can handle my own problems, you don't worry. Fika is too much when talking, don't listen to him" Jessy said.

Justin took his wallet and pulled out a card from it. "Wear this, Jess. Use it for whatever you need" he said.

Still ringing in his ear the message that Bu Magda conveyed. He wanted Justin to concentrate on his studies. After graduation, he also hopes Justin will continue his education abroad until ready to enter the family business.

Ms. Magda already knew her orphaned background. She likes Jessy in her academic career. However, it seems that will not agree if Justin wants to make him a partner later.

Magda's mom must have wanted Justin to get a partner as rich as their family.

Justin's current treatment made him feel like a beggar. He really loved Justin, not to use him. Whatever it is, it won't bother Justin. Justin's kindness just makes it burdened.

Justin is still dependent on his parents. The proffered card was also Jessy sure of her parents. If Jessy uses the card, she will be an additional burden for Magda.

"Save, Justin. I don't need that" Jessy refused.

"Ck! Never mind, if it is not needed now, save it first and use the time you need," forced Justin.

"I don't want to." Jessy refused.

Justin looks upset. "You really can't appreciate my concern, Jess! Do you think I'm your girlfriend or not?"

"It's precisely because I consider you a girlfriend, that's why I refuse, Justin. We're just dating, you have no obligation to solve my personal problems" Jessy said.

Justin smiled wryly. "You want me to marry you so I can help you? Come on, let me tell my mom now!" Justin got up from Jessy's lap. He was going to take Jessy in front of his mother.

Jessy refused. "You're too young. How will you meet my needs? Until now you have never practiced working, right? Most of your activities have fun with the basketball team."

"Personal problems are different, Justin. I can solve it myself," Jessy continued.

Justin was silent for a moment. "I can't work yet, Jess. But, my family has enough money just to live our lives later."

Jessy chuckles with Justin's delusion too high. "You want to increase the burden on your family by marrying me? I'm not even sure if our relationship is going to be sanctioned this way."

"So what should I do, Jess? I'm a mommy who can't be independent! But I want to help you!"

Justin is not talking about himself. Jessy must still think of him as a labile youngster who relies heavily on his parents.

"Let me solve my own problems" Jessy said.

Justin clenched his fingers. "Jess ...."

"If you're still pushy, we better break up, Justin" Jessy said.

"You're crazy!" Justin did not accept Jessy's words. He was angry and thought the woman really did not appreciate his good intentions.

"I think our relationship is too hard to continue. The difference between us is too far away. Wouldn't it be a waste if we fought for something that would eventually fail?"

Justin is disappointed with Jessy. "You're so mean, Jess."

Justin couldn't stand to be there.

"Justin!" Jessy prevents Justin from leaving.

"It looks like you had other intentions until you asked me to break up. Is it my actions in your eyes?" justin just wants to help Jessy.

"You don't get me wrong, I just ...." Jessy couldn't go on with her words. His conversation with Bu Magda was still imprinted on the heart. He was very depressed because he felt their relationship would not be condoned.

"Maybe we need some temporary self-introspection, Jess. I'm also in a stage that can't understand you" Justin said.
