EP.02 Dad

Ailyn is now in a strange home to her. Strangers and no one knew her until the little girl was terrified. David tries to approach Aylin slowly, despite the rejection.

"Aylin. I'm your father.. Aylin's gonna take me, right?" ask David.

"Don't know." said Aylin, shaking his head.

"Okay, we're just friends. My name is David. The waiter here there are 2 people named bu Siti and ma'am Mila. Then there will be a nanny who will accompany Aylin here." said David introduced everything.

"When do I get home?" ask Aylin.

"This is now Aylin's house. Mom's gone and there's no one better Aylin here with the waiter and the nanny." said David.

"Then my own father?" ask Aylin.

"Dad will work and maybe not be able to come here every day" David said.

"Oh so." said Aylin disappointed.

"But I will try to come every week" said David.

But Aylin remained silent and did not reply. He is still confused about the situation he is currently living. His mother had just died, his uncle had to work away from him. And now Aylin has to think of the stranger he just met as his father, who even his father can't attend to him every day. For a young child this must be difficult to understand and the sadness after losing his mother makes him so much more silent.

While David provides everything for Aylin, both the waiter, the nanny to the driver because Aylin has to go to school. Aylin was transferred to a school close to where he currently lives.

The next day came a nanny named Lusi. He is quite dependable and patient in coping with children. Lusi tried to approach Aylin slowly and tried to get acquainted with her. Luci was a little troubled at first because Aylin was still afraid of strangers. But over time, Lusi can take Aylin's heart. Now Aylin so often tell stories to Susi, especially her sadness after her mother died.

"Aylin, every human being will definitely die someday, so we should not be sad continuously because there are many things that can make us happy" said Lusi.

"But ma'am.. Aylin is still sad." said Aylin.

"Aylin can eliminate sadness in other ways, for example by playing, learning, or doing something Aylin likes" said Lusi.

"Aylin likes to learn. But why do you rarely come home?? he said he would take care of me." asked Aylin.

"Dad has to work dear, because it has to finance Aylin's life as well and the father's life" said Lusi gave a simple answer.

"But I used to work and go home every day, uncle does" Aylin said.

"Pad's job is a lot, and dad's place of work is a long way from here" Lusi told a lie.

"Oh so yeah.. Aylin's lonely here."

"There will be a mother who will take care of Aylin" said Susi smiling.

Lusi also felt sorry for Aylin who had just been abandoned by her mother. Not to mention his father who lied to him because he already had another family. And David can only come once a week. It makes Lusi unbearable to Aylin who has to adapt to an unfamiliar environment for him without the presence of his father.

Lusi also encouraged Aylin to continue to school and start new things. That's where Aylin began to adapt and make new friends. Aylin began busy studying and doing other activities with the supervision of Luci. And forget his desire to get close and get to know his father.

To Aylin, his father seemed to not care about him. Although David always tried to give the best for Aylin. David's absence made Aylin accustomed to living alone. Even his uncle often visited him while on holiday.

Day after day, Aylin grew up well even though his father rarely met him. Even on his own birthday David could not attend on the grounds of being out of town. Aylin was no longer disappointed by that. For him, there is no father or his life will be the same. Most importantly, Aylin found peace in the house.

But the calm did not last long, because a woman came to the house with a creepy look. Aylin also hid behind the body of Susi because of fear.

"Sorry madam, we don't know."

"Don't lie, it's impossible for my husband to take good care of her if there's nothing" Anita said.

Everyone finally told Anita the truth. And the woman was getting angry to hear it. Anita vents it to Aylin and scolds the little boy who doesn't know anything. Not scolding enough, Anita also hit the poor little Aylin. Susi tries to protect Aylin but is pushed hard by Anita until she falls.

"Based on the bastard..!! your mother was an actor and you were born into this world to destroy my life..?? "

"Please.. Aylin doesn't know anything." said Aylin in tears to get a broom handle and anger from Anita who sucks.

"Sim..!!! Stop..!!" said David who just came.

"Finally you came too. So this is the son of the actor?" anita asked with a demonic look.

"Anita, she's not wrong, she's just a victim." said David.

"You dare hide something from me. You even have children from other women..!"

"I didn't know that the Goddess was pregnant, and now that the Goddess is gone, I as her father have to take responsibility" said David.

"You always hurt me..!" shouted Anita.

"Why?? we married because of a match.. Don't blame my attitude on you, and I'll report you if you keep hurting Aylin." David threatened.

"Just report it. I'm not afraid..!" reply Anita.

There was a commotion between David and Anita. While Aylin was crying in the arms of Susi with a bruised body due to a broom blow from Anita. Lusi also cried to see Aylin who was not only in pain but very scared.

"I'm afraid ma'am." said Aylin in tears.

"There's a mother here." said Luci.

Lusi brought Aylin to the hospital to treat his injuries. While David is negotiating with Anita about Aylin. Lusi was quite regretful of David's attitude as a father. He did not even see Aylin who was very frightened by the bruises on his body.

After settling the matter with Anita, David searches for Aylin. Aylin who was in the hospital was terrified to see his father come.

"Go..!" drive Aylin

"Aylin. it's the father." said David sadly after hearing the doctor's explanation about his daughter.

"Aylin wants to go home to mom.. bad dad..!!" aylin.

"Aylin forgive me. I promise this won't happen again" David said.

"Sorry sir, it looks like Miss Aylin is a little traumatized" said Lusi.

Aylin was pacified by Luci. And Aylin started to stop crying. The little girl also fell asleep in the arms of Luci because of fear of seeing the quarrel between Anita and David.

Aylin had become distant from her father since the incident. And Aylin became afraid if any stranger came to his residence. Every time Erik visited him Aylin always asked Erik to take him home. But Erik's condition also still can not settle in this city. Inevitably Erik tried to comfort Aylin if there was a chance, be it a phone or videocall. The thing David was supposed to do as his father but even Erik had to do it.

Erik also teaches Aylin martial arts, and asks him to take martial arts classes so that he can protect himself from his cruel stepmother. Aylin grew up and knew his father like a stranger. And only Erik was in his eyes like his own father.

Since then, David has rarely seen Aylin. It was Anita's orders that put pressure on David. While Aylin no longer care about his father present in his life or not.
