EP.67 Ailyn's Return

Alonso was busy with all his agenda including finding who the owner of the corruption fund account. So did Jery and Tom, so no one told him that Ailyn had come home.

Ailyn finally went home and rested because she had not returned home for a few days. He also knows that Alonso must be in his office with all his work.

Until the night came unknowingly, Ailyn even skipped her meal and looked at the clock on the wall. It's 9 p.m., but Alonso hasn't returned home yet. He went downstairs and asked the waiter to prepare food for him.

Alonso approached his wife and told her to stand up.

"Gosh, I've only been gone a few days" said Ailyn.

"You're not hurt, are you?" alonso asked to check on his wife's tubes.

"Hey.don't be here." said Ailyn holding Alonso's hand.

"Okay, I'll make sure of it."

"There are only minor injuries, don't worry." said Ailyn.

"All right, I'll take a shower and come back here" Alonso said, heading straight to his room.

Ailyn enjoyed the food again. Alonso became exaggerated, probably because the man had fallen in love with him.

Before long, Alonso went downstairs and Ailyn was still waiting for him at the dinner table. Alonso finally ate with his wife. After a long time, Alonso was finally able to meet his wife again.

And Ailyn's presence made her happy in the midst of the problems she had in her company. They talked for a while at the dinner table, then they went to the room after eating. And Alonso actually checked Ailyn's body whether it was seriously injured or not.

"Ai. let's treat the bruises first" said Alonso.

"I've treated it" said Ailyn.

"Alright." said Alonso relented.

Finally Ailyn chose to sleep, while Alonso continued to look at him hoping to get something. But unfortunately Ailyn was too upset with Alonso and lazy to respond. His excessive worry attitude made Ailyn feel not free of her work. Because every job is going to be a risk. And this is what Ailyn will accept on her job.

On the other hand Alonso as her husband did not have the heart to see his wife every time he came home always hurt. But he also did not deserve to ask Ailyn to stop working. And Alonso realized that Ailyn liked her job so much.

And that worry made Alonso afraid of losing his wife. Alonso only hopes his wife can one day quit her job and still enjoy the happiness of his life.

"Bring food for you" said Alonso smiling.

"I'm fine and can go down" Ailyn said.

"It's a special service from me. You've been working hard the last few days" Alonso said.

"really?? why are you being so sweet?" ask Ailyn.

"I'm your husband, there's no particular reason" Alonso said, then told Ailyn to have breakfast with him.

The two had breakfast together in the room and laughed. It also makes Alonso feel at home in his room. Apart from his wife, he misses his wife too.

"How's your job? they're still attacking you?" ask Ailyn.

"It's over" said Alonso.

"Who did it then?" ailyn asked curiously for leaving everything to work.

"He's a senior staffer in my office, even holding the head of the finance division" Alonso said.

"Surely he used his position." retorted Ailyn.

"He knows everything now, usually people like Jery are easy targets for murder" Ailyn said.

"Move Jery to a safe place and give himself some supervision until this is over" Ailyn said.

"She can use my apartment for temporary residence" Ailyn said.

"Ck.. so good he is. I will prepare a place for him." said Alonso jealous.

"Yes, I'll just give you a solution." Ailyn replied.

"Why do I live with Tom?" ask Jery.

"Jery did you forget who I was?? I can detect people who want to sneak into the apartment" Tom said.

"All right" said Jery.

"I know you're normal, so don't be weird living together" Alonso said.

"Alright sir, but I'm normal." said Jery.

"Of course, sir, I don't have any taste in each other." said Tom.
