EP.03 Stepmom

Within a month of Anita, Aylin's stepmother came to visit her to see how far David had treated Aylin. Anita also did not hesitate to scold or hit Aylin every time he came to his house. Aylin could only endure it because no one could help him. Cacian, insults, was hurled by Anita for him.

Anita who felt the most hurt and suffering also vented all her anger on Aylin. She felt unlucky because her husband did not love her. Even impressed very indifferent to him and his two daughters. While Aylin, noticed so detailed by David.

"Basar bastard son..! seeing you just pisses me off." said Anita checking the house.

A slap landed on Aylin's cheek. It hurts, it hurts so much, that little boy has to suffer because of his cruel stepmother. And David had no idea, even if he knew he couldn't do anything about it because of the threat from Anita.

"How dare you glare at me." said Anita.

"Mom, too." said Aylin.

"Mom?? I'm not your mother, call me madam..!"

"Alas madam." said Aylin withstood the pain in her cheek.

While others can only see and witness the torture Anita did in order to maintain their jobs.

After being satisfied to vent his frustration on Aylin, Anita left the house. And David's men reported the incident to him.

"Anita is absolutely outrageous" David said.

"You must protect Miss Aylin sir."

"I couldn't do it because Anita threatened to complain to my father" David said.

Yes if Anita gets to complain then maybe David will lose everything. David cannot take care of Aylin without the strength of his family.

"What am I supposed to do?? I'm a useless father, my promise to the Goddess is meaningless." murmured David inwardly.

David visited Aylin a few days later. But his daughter did not flinch at all about his presence. Aylin even just stared and listened to all David's words without asking anything. Aylin also only spoke as necessary.

"Aylin forgive me.." said David.

"Yes." Yeah."

"Aylin, are you okay?? did your stepmother beat you again?" ask David.

"A slap and a rant as usual" Aylin said expressionlessly.

"Aylin forgive me." said David hugging Aylin and crying.

"Yes" said Aylin coldly.

David also tried to tighten security by installing cctv cameras in the house. But what happened was not much different. And Aylin knew that his useless father could not even protect him from his stepmother's anger.

Erik who heard it was angry, but could not help much. He went to David's office, but the man was nowhere. Erik can only equip Aylin with martial arts to protect himself and minimize injury if Anita again beat Aylin.

"No, this is more than enough uncle. Thank you." replied Aylin.

"You have to be strong, and when you're old enough to be mature in the eyes of the law, you can stay with me" Erik said.

"Okay uncle, I will hold him" said Aylin trying hard.

During that time, Erik taught Aylin to live independently. And Aylin obeyed everything Erik said. Aylin learned to cook from the waiter and deepened his martial arts to find out the dangerous spots if he was beaten by his stepmother.

Sure enough, Anita could not let Aylin live quietly. Right after Aylin was 15 years old, Anita chased away the servants and Lusi. David can't do anything, so his family doesn't know about Aylin. Because if her family finds out, maybe Aylin will be far away from her.

Aylin was not afraid because his uncle was right to live independently. Aylin did everything himself and managed the finances well. David was increasingly unbearable to Aylin and often gave him more money. And of course Aylin is not a stupid girl, he opened new savings and set aside some money from his father for emergencies.

This is where Aylin was made a servant by Anita and her two daughters. They not only demeaned him but also considered him a servant. All day they come just to ruffle the house and make Aylin have to clean it up alone. They even forbid Aylin to eat when they are around. Aylin was truly like a lowly servant in the eyes of all of them.

After they left, the house was a mess like a ship broke. In fact, not infrequently they deliberately destroy the items in the house . Then tomorrow will be sent new items to replace the items they damaged. David did it without asking anything.

Aylin also had to clean everything up alone without any servants. The girl was trying hard to wait for the right time to leave the house like hell.

The pitying David has an idea to keep Aylin away from Anita and the other two daughters. David wants to send Aylin to study abroad so that Anita can not reach him.

But the intention was only wishful thinking because Anita immediately prevented it. Until finally even Jini who had to be sent abroad. And Aylin could already guess it.

"Aylin forgive me for always disappointing you" said David.

"I know my life won't end well here" Aylin said.

"But I'm gonna promise you you're gonna get better here" David said.

"Yes." retorted Aylin coldly because her father was completely unexpected.

Thus, Anita prevented any attention David had on Aylin. Every time Aylin got something, the other two daughters always knew and whined for more than Aylin's. In fact, not infrequently they destroy the goods given by David to Aylin.

Aylin had also gotten used to it and was not afraid of losing anything. Whether it's his property or his father. Aylin had also studied the rules regarding freedom and human rights. And at a certain age Aylin can freely determine his life and be free from his wicked stepmother and step-sister.
