EP.05 A Bet

After registering, Ailyn underwent a series of tests. Ailyn ventured to compete with the thousands who wanted the position. And his uncle told Ailyn to risk everything in the test. Everything that means all the abilities he has so far, and his strong determination to survive.

Ailyn also underwent health tests, and there was no problem with her physique. Then another series of tests, even Ailyn was quite prominent in the physical test. Ailyn's long struggle began, nothing was easy because she had to work on her own with both her hands and her brain.

While his uncle and aunt prayed for the success of their niece Ailyn.

"Hopefully Aylin succeeded Mas." said Lastri.

"Yes, Mas is also happy if he is successful" said Erik.

"Yes, her father really failed to protect her until Ailyn was expelled" Lastri said.

"Indeed, the goal is that Ailyn can get out of the house." said Erik smiling.

"Coc-so, Mom? ailyn would be difficult again if we were the same." said Lastri.

Meanwhile, David comes to his uncle's house. David wanted to see his daughter in the simple house. Lastri also let him in, although upset Lastri still respect the father of Ailyn.

Ailyn soon came out of her room. And looked at his real father who looked full of guilt.

"Ailyn... How are you?" ask David.

"As you can see, I'm fine." said Ailyn.

"Thank God I'm sorry, I'm not a good father to you. My promise to your mother was pointless." said David.

"Good, if you realize it, but don't worry I'm not a fool, I'll try hard for myself" Ailyn said.

"Ailyn says whatever you need, I'll give it to her" David said.

"Don't give me anything, and don't show up often. I don't want my uncle's family to be disturbed because of my father's wife and father's two daughters." said Ailyn flatly.

"Ailyn don't, I can still help you" David said.

"It's true, but I couldn't protect my father from his wife and other children" Ailyn said, leaving David stunned.

In his heart David felt very tormented and suffering. Rejected by his own daughter and his whereabouts and help seemed a burden to Ailyn because of his wife. David feels like he failed as a father and can only cry in his car without anyone knowing the real contents of his heart.

"If only I had refused an arranged marriage with Anita, surely we would have lived happily even in simplicity." murmured David inwardly.

That's what David's remorse is that he can't protect his daughter. His life is like a fruit simalakama, if he protects Ailyn then he will lose everything and his parents will divert all his property to Anita and her two daughters. Whereas if he maintains Anita, surely his life is no less tormented seeing Ailyn always hurt by his wife.

Ailyn no longer cared about her father. All he wanted was peace and success with his own two hands. Although Ailyn knew her father looked sad when he looked at her, but Ailyn's sadness was also very deep, both physically and mentally because it always hurt Anita and her two half-sisters.

"Congratulations Ailyn. Auntie is sure you'll make it." said Lastri.

"Thank you, uncle and aunt, I have been successful thanks to you" Ailyn said.

"Of course, uncles and aunts will always be there for you" Erik said.

"Yes, and now auntie has made yellow rice and some side dishes to celebrate" said Lastri.

"It must be delicious." said Ailyn.

They are also happy and grateful for the success of Ailyn passed the test. They also celebrate by eating together in the simple house. Ailyn was enough just that, because for her uncle and aunt had been encouraging and supporting her all this time.

Meanwhile, David, just found out that his daughter took the test. And David was quite surprised that Ailyn was accepted into the series of tests. Between happy and sad, because David knows nothing about Ailyn even though he has confidently promised to take care of his daughter.

I want to congratulate him but David doesn't want Anita to know about Ailyn the way she wants her daughter. David could only look at it and pray for it from afar. He does not want Anita to interfere with Ailyn's life and career.

"I have to protect her from Anita. Even if it means that I will only see Ailyn from a distance." murmured David inwardly.

And so began Ailyn's training, where Ailyn met many people and competed with them. Ailyn also sees great people who make her not easily proud of her who is nothing. Although far away from her uncle and aunt and unable to go home, Ailyn had to live it because it had taken the road.

Every day Ailyn got a new lesson, and continued to work hard with her friends who fought with her. There he went through quite a lot of training, so that everyone was disciplined. And Ailyn was quite troubled in the beginning, but gradually she got used to it.

Day after day he passed with his old friends. They practiced and laughed together. No one takes a bad look at someone else's past. No one even calls him an illegitimate child anymore, a world that doesn't look at anyone.

Ailyn managed to finish it according to her schedule. And finally Ailyn got her first assignment. Nothing was easy in her life, but Ailyn kept trying and trying.
