27. An Unexpected Defense.

The atmosphere of the first-floor canteen was increasingly unfavorable due to the Queen's anger. The girl really did not care about the people who started to gather around them, because her goal right now was only one, which was to take advantage of the situation to humiliate Bella.

"It's not Bella's fault, Quenn. He's the victim here!" Peter tries to defend Bella by telling her the truth. The man then pointed at the three employees who hit Bella earlier.

All three employees looked offended. "Just do us wrong! He was the one who came suddenly without warning!" the lie of one of the employees.

Screeches sounded loudly filled the first-floor canteen. However, the screech turned out not to come out of Bella's mouth, but Simons.

"Lepa—" Simons suddenly silenced after seeing who was gripping his hand with full force.

"Tu—tuan Werner!"

The atmosphere was suddenly silent and gripping.

Noah did not bother to hide the anger on his handsome face.

"Who dares to act like a hotshot in my office will accept the consequences!"

The whole body of Simons and the people who were there goosebumps for a moment. Same with Bella.

Noah glanced at Bella's appearance. His uniform is soaked. His hair was also not neatly covered. That girl really looks really fucked up.

Noah refrains from being surprised, when he realizes that his own mouth is almost speechless.

Noah exhaled and asked Simons and two of his subordinates to leave. The man plans to impose other sanctions on him later.

After the third, Noah stared intently around the canteen, especially at the Queen who was now bowed in fear.

"I insist once again not to shut up, if injustice happens before you. Understood!"

Everyone who was there simultaneously stood up and apologized. They leaned towards Noah.

Bella smiled softly. Noah looked very wise in the office. If only he could carry his attitude at home.

Bella was busy arranging groceries in the kitchen, when Noah came home.

Bella rushed over to the man to greet him.

"Thank you for helping me, you shouldn't have to" Bella told her husband.

Noah was silent for a moment. "Don't be too confident. I just don't like to see someone trying to abuse their position, and you should be able to take care of yourself!" The man walked past Bella.

"Sister," call Bella for a moment.

Noah stopped walking.
