Destiny of the Substitute Bride

Destiny of the Substitute Bride
46. The Past (1).

Thirty-two years ago.

A beautiful girl with golden eyes ran over to her best friend who was waiting at the campus gate. The girl carried a bouquet of roses in her hand.

"Zara, it's been a long time!" exclaim the friend pretended to sulk.

"Sorry, sorry, I just came from the lecturer's room to give an assignment. So, where are we going?" ask the beautiful girl named Zara.

Instead of answering, the friend even squinted his eyes at the bouquet of flowers held by Zara. "Let me guess .. must be Harold's bouquet, right?" the canal.

Hearing the man's name, Zara's face flushed red. Embarrassed he nodded his head.

The eyes of the friend sparkled happily. "Well! So ...? Say it! So, you guys ...?"

Zara shook her head. "Not that far. He just wants to take me to dinner tomorrow" Zara replied grimacingly.

Hearing Zara's reply, the girl kept hugging and exclaiming happily. Shy Zara asked him to stop.

"Jesse, we're still on campus! Shame when someone sees it!" exciting Zara.

"Ups, late!" Jessica took off her embrace and coded Zara to look back.

Harold was standing not far from there, holding his smile. Zara's face was much redder. It was so eager for him to disappear from there as fast as lightning.

"You dropped this earlier." Harold thrust Zara's wallet in front of him.

Zara gasps. "Thank you very much. Sorry for my carelessness" said the girl embarrassed.

Harold laughed a little. "You're so funny" he said.

Zara lowered her face deeply, while Jessica was busy flirting with her best friend. A few girls passed by the three of them, then whispered aloud as soon as they saw Harold.

Naturally, who wouldn't fall in love with such a good-natured handsome man. Not only that, Harold was also born in a distinguished and wealthy family. Every day he always came to campus in a limousine with a private driver. Her dress suit looks different from other college kids.

Harold is the criteria of young master dreams of girls who are not easily touched.

However, they had to bite their fingers, as soon as they saw Harold's proximity to the scholarship recipient girl, Zara Aguilina Blaxland.

Although Zara is not from a billionaire family, but her kindness and beauty make anyone feel bad to bully Zara. What's more, they are required not to tarnish the family name.

"All right, I'll see you tomorrow" said Harold. The man turned his eyes to Jessica and nodded politely.

Jessica nodded at Harold. The girl refrained from blushing. His eyes could not even look at Harold's back with a longing look.

Unbeknownst to Zara, the girl looked at him hatefully.

...**********...

"I just got out of the house with Harold, Jesse. What's the matter?" zara asked frantically, as soon as she heard Jessica's cry on the phone.

"Can you come here, Zara? My mom and dad left without telling me first. Now I'm locked out of the house!" jessica said as she hardened her cry.

Zara folded her lips. Doubtfully he looked at Harold who was focused on staring at the streets while driving.

"What's wrong with Jesse?" As if he knew something was going on, Harold opened his voice.

"Mc ... Jesse's locked out of the house. His mother and father will not be home when. I ... worry about it." The girl lowered her head.

Zara lifted her head. "Can? But, what about dinner?"

Harold turned to look at Zara, smiling gently. "It doesn't matter if you have to add one person."

Zara smiled broadly. The girl thanked Harold, and immediately spoke to Jessica again.

"wait us. Okay?" Zara.

"okay!"

Both of them cut their phone lines.

Jessica smiled sinisterly as she stared at her dead phone. The girl then throws the house key into one of the flower pots, so that Zara and Harold do not know.

"I won't let you be together!" cynical fun.

Half an hour later, Harold and Zara arrive at Jessica's house. Without waiting for a long time, the three went to one of the luxury restaurants that Harold had ordered.

Jessica repeatedly apologized to the two for interrupting their date. However, the two of them timidly said that this was just an ordinary dinner.

Dinner was fun for Zara and Harold, but not for Jessica. Time and again the girl had to endure jealousy, as Harold kindly helped Zara cut the steak and poured it a drink. The man also helped the friend replace the napkin that had fallen to the floor.

"You daydreaming, Jess?" ask Zara for a moment.

Jessica jerks. "Ahh, sorry, I'm just still upset with my father and mother" the girl replied with a chuckle.

"You've contacted them not to come home too late?" ask Harold.

The fresh wind seemed to hit Jessica's face upon hearing Harold's question. For some reason, Jessica felt like she was being noticed by the man.

"Already, already. I've sent them twenty text messages."

Hearing Jessica's reply, Harold chuckled. The laughter that made a rumble on Jessica's chest grew even more.

Zara laughed. Before long, the girl was willing to go to the toilet for a while.

Jessica nodded with a big smile. He wouldn't waste this moment getting close to Harold.

Trying to be as normal as possible, Jessica invited Harold to have a warm conversation. Harold responded to Jessica's questions kindly.

"I hope your relationship with Zara grows, Harold. As Zara's best friend, I'd love to see her happy" Jessica said.

"Thank you very much, Jesse. You're a good friend" said Harold.

Jessica smiled shyly. The girl then squinted her eyes at Harold's face. "Mm, Harold, I'm sorry, if I'm being disrespectful" he said suddenly.

Harold raised his eyebrows high. "What's wrong?"

Jessica pointed at her own face. "Something on the tip of your lips."

Harold tried to follow Jessica's hand. However, it didn't work. As a result, Jessica also helped take the leftovers on the tip of the man's lips, after apologizing to him.

Harold was shocked. She was about to shake Jessica's hand, but the girl's hand was gone.

Unbeknownst to them, Zara, who had just come out of the toilet, saw the moment.
