Sapphira sat on the edge of her bed, she kept staring at her hand that was slightly torn by the broken glass that fell, as she cleaned the kitchen this afternoon.
"Wouldn't it hurt to wash the dishes later?" safira asked himself. Sapphira opened the white fabric she used to cover her wound, and replaced it with a black cloth.
"Ah, it's okay, Sa. It doesn't mean anything to you, you're strong, Sa. It's just a small wound" Safira said encouragingly. He steps toward the door, confirming that Dev and Jimmy are home.
Safira looked up at Jimmy's desk. Jimmy's laptop is on, which means Jimmy's home. But what about Dev? Is he home or is he still in the company? Sapphira wondered.
"Miss," called Jimmy making Safira gasp in shock.
"Is Miss' hand okay?" asked Jimmy while looking at Safira's hand which was still tied with the black cloth.
"Ah, this, this is just a small wound. Oh, yeah, is Brother Dev home yet?" answer Safira then look for question material that will divert the topic of his conversation and Jimmy.
"Have you treated her?" asked Jimmy who was still discussing the wound on Safira's hand.
"It has. I asked you, did Brother Dev come home?"
"Master on top. Maybe it'll be down for dinner" Jimmy replied, then sat down at his desk. There's some work to be done tonight, too.
"Well, I'll prepare the dinner menu first." Safira walks away from Jimmy and steps into the kitchen.
He set all the menus on the dining table. However, Sapphira was slightly overwhelmed due to the still wet wound on her palm.
"What's wrong with your hand?" ask Dev who is now standing near the dining table.
"Try opening, I want to see it." Dev walked up to Safira, then looked at Safira's face for a few seconds.
"It's okay, Brother. It doesn't hurt anymore." Sapphira hid her hand so that Dev would no longer discuss the wound.
"Give me your hand! Hurry along!"
Dev grabbed Safira's hand which was still wrapped around the black cloth. He asked Sapphira to sit in the dining chair, and Dev dragged the next chair and sat directly opposite Sapphira.
"Wait here." Dev got up and came out of the kitchen. While Sapphira was just staring at the confused wound, actually the wound was still painful, but Safira did not think too much about it.
After a few minutes, Dev returns with a bandage and medicine box. He looked at Sapphira for a moment and treated the wound on the woman's palm.
"It could be an infection, why don't you bandage?" he said after treating and bandaging Safira's hands.
"I, I didn't find it. Therefore, I wear this cloth" answered Sapphira still with a bowed head.
Dev was silent again, he returned the position of the chair he was sitting in, then looked at Sapphira and exhaled slowly.
He got up from his seat and moved to sit beside Sapphira.
Dev flipped the plate that lay in front of Sapphira, then spooned the rice and side dishes for the woman. After that, then he scoops the rice and side dishes for himself.
After dinner together, Dev asks Safira to go straight into his room. And with the dirty dishes, he told Jimmy to call some of the servants in the main house to clean it and stay for the next few days, until the wound on Safira's hand healed.
