Dev Promise

"Safira? You haven't slept?" dev said with a still heavy voice.

"I just woke up, Brother."

"Does my sleep make you uncomfortable? Until you wake up in the middle of the night like this?" dev asked and woke up from his sleep.

"No, Brother. I just wanted to go to the bathroom" Safira replied with her head bowed, and also her body turned back to Dev.

"Sleep, you must be so tired." Dev touches Safira's shoulder. "I won't scold you anymore, if you sleep fast" he continued with a faint smile.

Sapphira nodded, then laid her body back near Dev. Dev steps down from the bed and walks towards the bathroom.

A few minutes later. Dev comes out, now he finds Sapphira asleep hugging his teddy bear. Dev stepped closer to the woman, and laid himself beside Sapphira.

"Sorry, Sa. I know, you must be really hurt by all this. And I promise you, I promise I'll try to open my heart to you, and try to keep Aurora in my old memory" Dev said. The man closed his eyes again, then wrapped his hands around Sapphira's body.

Hours 05.40

Safira is awakened by her Hp alarm ringing. He frowned again, when he saw Dev's hand hugging his body again.

Sapphira moves slowly, then moves Dev's hand, and lets the man hug his teddy bear.

"I better take a shower and go straight down to prepare breakfast for Dev and Davin" Safira said, stepping into the bathroom.

15 Minutes later. Sapphira came out with a body covered only in a knee-length white towel. He walked up to the closet to get his clothes. After getting what he wanted. Sapphira went back into the bathroom to put on her clothes.

A few minutes passed. Safira came back out of the bathroom, then stepped closer to the door.

"Where are you going?" ask Dev who just woke up from his sleep.

"Kitchen, brother," answered Safira and opened the door and stepped down the stairs.

Safira knocks on Davin's room door, intending to wake the girl first, before she enters the kitchen.

"Davino....Get up and take a shower" Safira said, shouting a little. Sapphira set foot into the kitchen, after she got a speech from Davin.

The clock now shows 07:05

Dev, Davin, and Jimmy sat down at the dinner table for breakfast. This morning, Safira cooked two servings of spicy fried rice, for Jimmy and Davin. And also some special sandwich pieces for Dev. Breakfast for himself? He forgot!

"Safira didn't have breakfast?" davin asked as he glanced at Dev and Sapphira alternately.

"No, you guys go first. There are still many things that you haven't done yet" Safira replied, stepping out of the kitchen, and walking towards the front yard to water the flowers and sweep the courtyard.

A few minutes later. Dev, Jimmy and Davin are done with their breakfast. They walked simultaneously to the front yard.

"Leave all that, and go in for breakfast. I've made toast and warm milk for you" whispered Dev to Sapphira, who was still busy sweeping the courtyard.

"Remove this first, brother. After that, I'll go in for breakfast."

"Breakfast or kiss!" Threaten Dev still in whispers.

"All right." Safira took off her broom and stepped into the house, and washed her hands for breakfast.

"Be careful on the road. Follow the traffic rules, and don't forget to wear your helmet!" said Dev to warn his sister who always makes trouble with the traffic police.

"Ready, Commander." Davin smiled and heated up the bike. Jimmy and Dev enter their car and drive straight to the company.
