Devano Pranata Yoga
Barrel Story

Safira opened the door to her room, then looked at a woman who was about 45 years old sweeping in the kitchen.

"Bibi Baras? Since when is Aunt here?" safira asked Laras who was still busy with his kitchen affairs.

"Ah, Miss. Since last night, Mr. Aldy and Mrs Jessica asked me to come here" Laras replied smilingly.

"Emm, so, yeah." Safira approached the stove and thought for a moment. He was confused what to cook for Dev's breakfast menu this morning.

"Auntie, what should I cook now? I'm confused."

Safira looked at Laras who was smiling at him. The woman was indeed very close to Dev, even having beautiful stories with his Young Master.

"Young Master Dev prefers breakfast with toast or sandwiches, but if the weather is like this, he prefers toast and warm vanilla milk" Laras replied smilingly.

"Oh, yeah. If it's toast, it's vanilla milk, and if it's a sandwich, it's chocolate milk?"

"Hehe, that's Young Master Dev. If we want to be close to her, then we have to know all the things she likes and dislikes." Barrel smiled again and put a broom in the corner of the kitchen.

"Let Aunt sit down at the dinner table" Laras continued and made some toast for Dev.

"No, Bi. Let Sapphira alone, after all, Sapphira's hands are better than yesterday" Safira refused.

"Well, Auntie will do another job" Laras said, then exited the kitchen.

Safira stared at Laras' back for a moment, there were some things that Safira did not know about the woman. And Safira had intended to ask directly to Laras later, even if time sided with Safira.

15 Minutes later. Two slices of toast were served on Dev's plate, and there was also a glass of warm vanilla milk there.

Dev came down from his room, his eyes staring straight at the kitchen that was already clean, different from last night. Dev glanced at Safira at a glance, then sat down at the dining table without saying a word.

Safira turned to the dining table, the woman smiled as she saw Dev greedily eating his toast.

"Shut up at home. If your hands have improved, then I will allow you to get out of this house" Dev said after he gulped down his vanilla milk.

"All right." That was all that came out of Sapphira's mouth.

The clock now shows at eleven o'clock in the afternoon. Safira and also Laras are done with their work. Safira had finished cleaning his room, as well as Laras who had finished cleaning his master's new house.

"Auntie, can Safira sit here?" Safira stared at the empty chair next to Laras.

"Thank you, Bi."

Safira looked at the bright-looking face of Laras, as if the woman did not have the slightest burden in her life.

"Auntie, I'm sorry, can I ask Auntie something?" ask Safira carefully.

"Ask me, Miss. Aunt will answer with pleasure."

"Emm, this is about Aunty, not about Kak Dev" Safira said.

"What does Miss want to know about me? I don't mind, who knows me and Miss can exchange stories."

Baras smiled again, then took the onion and garlic for him to peel.

"Emm, look, I've known Auntie since I was a kid. Aunty used to always be next to Brother Dev, sometimes Aunt also often accompany Jessica's mother to the orphanage." Safira was silent for a moment.

"Does Auntie not want to get married or have a family?" ask Safira carefully.

"Auntie, Aunt is married and has a daughter. She was the same age as Miss Erika," Laras replied with eyes looking straight ahead.

"Emm, then? Where is she now, and..Where is Aunt's husband?"

"Clara lives in a dormitory, Mr. Aldy sends her to study out of town. The ladies and gentlemen said that Clara had more talent to work with early on." Baras back down and peeled the red onion that he had just held.

"Father Clara died when Clara was 3 years old. His father was a cousin of Madam Jessica, therefore, Madam Jessica or Mr. Aldy loved Clara very much," Laras continued and smiled for a few seconds.

Safira. I don't know what the woman is thinking right now, which obviously she never thought that Laras was married to her mother-in-law's cousin.

"Auntie, sorry, sorry if I asked something I shouldn't have asked" Safira said after a few minutes of silence.

"It's okay, Miss. Sometimes curiosity that can not be realized it will become a burden on the mind later. I just don't want Miss to be overwhelmed by that curiosity," Laras replied still with a sweet smile adorning her lips.

"Thank you, Bi. Aunt is the best."

"Hahaha, Miss could have."
