Dilemma of Marriage Left

Dilemma of Marriage Left
Chapter 58

Nila had been working for a week under Edward. It felt like she was almost crazy because of the orders from Edward that often troubled her. Plus every day Nila had to be overtime and always up to the apartment until 10 pm.

This morning as usual before giving a daily agenda to Edward, Nila checked the email first. Among the many emails that came in, there was one email that suddenly made Nila link her eyebrows and read the contents of the message twice.

"Product return because the goods are not on order" he said in a soft voice, concluding the contents of the message sent from the warehouse.

"Gosh, how could that be? Did they check before sending? This is the problem of double! I'm ashamed of the customer, the loss, too," grumbled Nila and printed the attached evidence in the email.

After that, Nila looked at her boss' agenda today and immediately entered Edward's room. With anxiety, Nila ventured to keep her mental state from going down if Edward was angry with her.

Shortly after closing the door, Nila saw Edward who was still focused on checking the files on the table. Nila took a deep breath and exhaled slowly before finally stepping foot to approach Edward.

"Good morning, sir," said Nila, she was getting nervous.

"Morning. What is my agenda today?" As usual Edward was cold without looking up to Nila.

Nila read out her agenda first, then put a red map on Edward's desk.

"All right, sir, I'd like to give you some information if-"

"I already know," said Edward suddenly cut off Nila's speech. Sontak Nila was stunned when she heard it.

"Sir Lucas emailed you too huh?" asked Nila, her face still looked ordinary. Nila was trying as quietly as possible.

"Yes. Now you go to the warehouse and keep bringing their bosses here to face me." Edward's voice sounded ordinary, but very stressed. In addition, Edward's gaze was extremely sharp and as if deadly.

Nila also struggled to swallow her saliva. "Good, sir."

......................

A few minutes passed, Nila returned to Edward's room with two men who could be held accountable. But after the two men entered, Nila was told to come out. The faces of the two men were very red, it appeared that they were frightened.

Nila sat back at her desk and chose to continue her work again. Because there is still work that was not completed yesterday and must be completed today.

Until without feeling soon enter the lunch break. One by one, Nila had finished it well. But he only realized that the two men who entered the room had not yet come out of the room. Nila was suddenly agitated, afraid that the two men would end up in Edward's hands.

Being too curious, Nila made sure through the small gap on the curtains to peek. Instantly Nila rounded her eyes.

Nila immediately moved from her seat and forced open the door of her superior's room.

"Stop, Sir!" nila shouted from the doorway. His jaw was hardened, his face reddened, and both of his hands clenched tightly. He walked up to the three men.

"This includes a criminal act sir! Is it not that you should be able to provide sanctions in accordance with the worker's code of ethics? I don't think this is the way, sir!" Nila was furious. Moreover, seeing the condition of the two men looked terrible. Their faces were full of bruises and they looked weak.

"Do you not think the fate of their families how to see people who are expected to return home every day with this condition?" nila said while pointing her index finger to Edward's face.

But unfortunately the man he was referring to just smiled cynically at the attitude of Nila who he considered like a hero.

"Do you want to work here or not?" edward asked in a soft voice as he glanced sharply at the woman. He even ignored what Nila said earlier.

"Officers here are entitled to be punished with existing sanctions. But you can't play violence. Our country is a country of laws, sir!" nila resolute. His eyes opened wide, until the veins on his neck can be seen by the naked eye.

"Quite Nila!" edward snapped and turned his gaze to the two battered men. "You two are out of this company!" snapped again.

"Ba-good Sir. Thank you for your punishment. We are sorry, because there is a mistake in the procedure to make the company feel disadvantaged. And we resign" said the head of the warehouse, squinting his eyes and smiling cynically. While the other just looked down with a sad face.

"Good! Please go!" reply Edward with his haughty attitude.

After they left, only Nila remained inside with Edward. The fear that he had felt earlier was instantly gone along with the fury that exploded because of the man's actions.

"If you still act that way towards the employee, I'm sure ... After this, many employees will resign. Similarly to me," threatened Nila boldly highlighting Edward's eyes with a sharp gaze.

"Please, I do not forbid if you are not at home, just get out of this office. Easy right? Many people still work in this company. So, don't be so confident, I won't hold you back from working here." Edward's comment further made Nila feel very fed up.

"Well, I'll immediately make a letter of resignation. Excuse me!" Nila turned around and stepped out of the room. He opened it and closed the door intentionally a little tight.

Nila sat down in her chair, then opened the word-based application sheet and began to create a resignation letter. His emotions were truly unbearable. Although at first he tried to patiently pursue a boss who was very damned for him, he was, and thought Edward would be easy to be invited to work together but it turns out that for one week it really makes Nila more and more can not stand it and there is no reason to stay here.

Not until ten minutes, the resignation letter was completed and printed and put in a brown envelope. The woman quickly cleaned her desk, grabbed her bag and entered Edward's room without knocking on her door.

"Excuse me, here's my resignation letter, sir." Nila put the envelope on the table and one of her hands reached into the bag. He pulled out the car keys. "And this car has been facilitated by the company. For the apartment, I will submit it directly to the front office of the apartment. I think from this moment on, I resigned and I'm no longer an employee at this company." The woman looked down respectfully, while Edward just stared at Nila without any response.
