Don't Blame the Line of Destiny

Don't Blame the Line of Destiny
01: His condition

Down and down, that's his new habit. Being ostracized, humiliated even shunned by others is his daily meal. Just because of the complicated affairs of adults, he was shunned by everyone. Without knowing a place, loneliness always accompanies him.

With her head bowed, Hana entered the room where people filled her stomach. As long as he was there, he felt that there were a lot of eyes staring at him. His stomach had already given a warning to fill immediately. He could not allow the warning.

Now, he was sitting at a table that was certainly far from the other students. Before long, he took out a food stand from behind his uniform, took it out carefully while watching his surroundings. Hands should be more agile than vision.

Unbeknownst to him, someone comes and accidentally bumps into him. It made the place of food and its contents fell and scattered on the canteen floor. It turns out he was careless. There was still something faster than the agility of his hand.

“Aduh... Sorry, yes.” The student apologized. However, his tone seemed to lower himself.

Hana was silent in her place. He felt how sad he was. Even so, he was more worried about the fate of his poor food. He crouched down and recited the fallen food.

“Suffering once.” That was the student's last word before leaving Hana.

There is still a little time before the break is over. Hana spends her time working on her duties even though they are gathered next week. Guess if the girl was a timely student.

“Your fellow is mute, huh? I never saw him talk at all,” asked someone suddenly.

That makes Hana and Zegran become lost focus. However, Zegran who was busy studying did not respond at all to the words of the schoolgirl, so it made the student's friend join them. Although Zegran was known for his cleverness, he was quite a bitch.

“He was weird, anyway. But he's smart, you know. Especially in math subjects,” said one of his friends. Hearing that, Zegran instantly fell silent from his activities.

“Gina? Fora?” get Zegran to call out to the two figures who were bothering him.

“What?” They answered simultaneously.

“This is all you want to ask? Just wasting my time,” said Zengran. His face was flat but his tone was very annoying.

“Cih! Just because you're the golden boy of all the teachers at this school, doesn't mean you can boast!” gina was upset. After that, Gina and Fira immediately left.

The crane! The bell rang indicating the break time was over. All the students rushed to his desk. Hana immediately tidied up all her stuff and prepared for the next learning. Suddenly Zegran called out to him.

“Hey,” Hideyoshi called Hana in the middle of lesson time. Hana who heard that immediately turned her head towards Zegran. He was a little surprised, Zegran never wanted to talk to him.

“Where did you learn math?” ask Zegran suddenly. Hana confusion.

“You mean les, that? Why are you asking?” ask Hana confused.

“There's no way I'm losing to you, is there?” zegran replied as if to demean Hana.

That painful sentence became the end of their conversation. Hana tries to refocus on learning even though her heart is broken. He knew that he was neither anyone who could reply to Zegran himself. Really sad, isn't it?

All the students are getting ready to go home. As he was about to leave, he accidentally saw Zegran throw a book into the trash. His eyes did not escape from Zegran. At that moment, an idea also came to his mind.

His eyes moved quickly, looking at the entire room. He waited for all the students to come out of the classroom. Then, he immediately approached towards the trash can. And sure enough, the book in the trash bin belonged to Zegran. He looked at the book. Is he serious about his idea?

He opened the book. Then, tear the first page containing the identity of the owner of the book and immediately throw it away. He took the book and put it in his bag.

“It's okay, Hana. If you already have it all, you can pay for all of this.”

After his father had not returned home for a long time, all the responsibilities that should be held by adults have now changed hands. Hana was forced to make money by herself, willing to sacrifice her energy to slam bones in order to support herself and her sister who was still in SD. Hana goes straight to her side job after school.

“You've arrived?” Said the shop owner.

“Quick change your clothes and start working, yes?” The owner gave a message before leaving Hana.

Hana changed clothes. With his minimarket uniform, he works wholeheartedly. In between his work, he took the time to re-read the lessons he had learned. He kept the promise he made with his mother.

He promised that whatever happens, learning will still be important. That is why she remains the best student despite her time spent working. Time passed too. Because he is a part-time worker, his wages will be distributed after the working hours are completed.

“Your work is better than expected, ‘ said the owner of minimarket while removing some sheets of money.

“Because your work is good, I give you bonus money.” Of course Hana who saw it was immediately shocked not to play. The money is his sweat.

“Thank you very much, Sir. I will continue to work hard,” he said.

“You can still work here, really. You can replace the previous worker,” said the store owner.

“Why with previous workers?” ask Hana curiously.

“He resigned suddenly. He didn't tell me he wanted to resign. Fortunately you came right he resigned, I do not need to find a new worker again,” explained the store owner.

Hana was really grateful to hear the news. He was very happy, at least there was a day when things were on his side. In this way, Hana does not need to travel around to find another job again. He just needs to come on time without fear of losing his job.

“Once again I thank you, Sir.” Hana still could not believe the shocking news.

A wide smile accompanied Hana all the way home. The money he earned worked enough to buy a little groceries. Now, in his hand was a kilo of rice and ten eggs. However, that smile was magnified by the fact that he was a permanent worker.

“Lily, I'm home!” jeremy Hana.

Lily Frederika Luna who is often called Lily is the only family that Hana has. The younger brother had a different stature to him. The 11-year-old was very good at photographing things. As long as his brother is gone, only a digital camera can accompany him at home.

In the living room, Lily was busy looking back at the results of her shots. It was an activity Lily could not forget. On the other hand, Hana was in the kitchen heating the side dish and preparing dinner, her sister immediately approached Hana.

“Sister, I didn't eat, huh?” said Lily.

Of course the brother is confused. He left all his activities and approached his sister. “Why?” tanyakanya.

“I'm full, Brother,” he replied.

“When do you eat?” His brother was very worried about his sister.

“Tadi at school,” answered trying to convince her brother.

“That must be lunch, ‘right? You have to eat, Lily,” he said in a slightly quivering tone.

“I eat three servings at once. That way, I eat according to the calories needed.” Brother reasons.

“Your stomach is okay, ‘kan?” His sister began to believe him.

“Sure, dong. Brother don't worry if I haven't eaten. I must be eating,” said the sister with a smile.

Hana was stunned to see the 11-year-old sister. Although he looks like a child usually but his way of thinking like an adult. Ever since her parents left the house, her sister was the only person who could strengthen her.

But he still doesn't understand. He wondered, like this is how adults solve problems. Leaving her children in the harsh reality of the world, is that how adults solve problems? He lost his trust in adults for the first time.
