In a place filled with books, Zegran was looking for a useful book for tomorrow's exam. When he was about to pay for the book, he accidentally caught a heartwarming moment from a child with his mother.
He watched them from the cashier's desk, the boy who refused his mother's invitation to take him out to dinner on the grounds that he should focus on the test tomorrow morning. However, in the end the child accepted the invitation thanks to the efforts of the mother. Zegran who saw that could only smile knots.
“Thank you,” said Zegran before leaving the bookstore.
She moved to Hana who had come home from her place of work. Now he is sitting down and ready to sacrifice the rest of his time for tomorrow. Like the scenes in the movies, his head re-imagined the incident with Zegran. He is overwhelmed by confusion and of course worry. There was no way he would sacrifice his efforts all this time just a buck.
“I need money to pay rent but I don't want to sell my business all this time. My head is very dizzy,” he said while rubbing his face.
He exhaled periodically, his head completely dizzy. He placed his heavy head on top of his book, closing his eyes trying to calm the contents of his almost exploding head. Before long, his eyes opened and captured the longest photo on his desk studying.
The photo shows him with his full family. He smiled, the photo was taken while their family was fine. His father has not lost his company and is chased by loan sharks, his mother is still at his side and his life is still fine.
“At that time mom and dad promised to take me to the beach,” he said grieving.
There was no way he didn't miss those warm moments. Although he knows his life is ruined because of the two people in the photo who have fled their responsibilities as parents as well as adults. Instantly the clear grains fell from his nest and wet his cheeks.
“I'm sorry, Mom, Dad,” he said as he wiped his tears.
The next day, Hana leaves for school early. He is still confused by the deal he had discussed with Zegran yesterday. His choices haunt his mind at all times and wherever he may be. He immediately approached Zegran who was alone in the classroom.
He was a little surprised to see Zegran who arrived early, usually he was the last person to arrive in class. He thought that Zegran could arrive early because he was waiting for an answer from Hana who always arrived the earliest. He sat in his chair next to Zegran.
“Zegran,” call Hana.
“What?” the answer.
“I'll do it,” Hana said confidently.
Instantly, Zegran looked at Hana quickly, his eyes were rounded and his brain stopped working for a moment. He still could not believe if Hana really accepted the precision he made.
“You sure to do it?” ask Zegran to make sure.
“Iya. As long as there is a reply, I will do it,” Hana replied confidently.
Now Hana looked at Zegran who had been staring at her since then. Hana's face was really serious. Unlike Zegran who looked at Hana with a slightly happy face seen from her enlarged pupils. Before long, he smiled broadly.
“You chose the right choice,” said Zegran before palpating the contents of his bag.
Zegran immediately pulled out a white envelope towards Hana. With a curious heart, Hana immediately picked it up and immediately opened it. He was shocked not to play, some money he had held with his own hands.
“I'll pay you half first. The rest I will give after the results of the exam come out,” explained Zegran.
Hana put the envelope in her bag. He did not want the white envelope to be visible to others. Once he let his guard down, the two of them would fall into serious trouble.
“You cannot pass 90 in all your grades,” replied Zegran.
Zegran knows that Hana is a smart student in her class even some of her grades are lower than Hana's. He still can't get better no matter how hard he tries to pet the girl next to him, that's his weakness.
“Only that, ‘kan?” ask Hana to make sure.
“Iya,” answer quickly.
He had fallen too deep in the darkness he knew when he was. He had no choice but to let himself fall into the darkness. He was confused maybe even he did not know how he got out of the darkness. The more he realized, the further he fell.
One by one, they passed the test. As she agreed, Hana tried not to pass the 90 in all of her exams by answering incorrectly on purpose. Now the tormenting week for all the disciples has been well passed, the eagerly awaited has been in sight.
"As usual, you will give your test results" said Mr. Beni, the homeroom teacher. All the disciples gave off feelings that they had been holding back all this time.
"Well guess who ranked first in our class?" ask Mr. Beni. Somehow the question made all the disciples throw their faces away in annoyance.
"As usual Zegran ranked first in the class!" said Mr. Beni with passion.
Unlike all of his students, they put on a dislike face. However, in contrast to Hana who looked really sad. Zegran looked at Hana who was looking down, only he was aware of it. After that, Zegran immediately headed forward to pick up the paper containing the results of its value.
“For everything, it's okay if now your grades haven't been satisfactory. Make this moment a learning moment for you in the next exam. Especially for Hana, I know you are in a difficult time but that does not mean you have to give up just like that,” said Mr. Beni. However, it made all the disciples look at him in confusion.
“Means the value is down? How can?” ask one of his classmates.
“For me he's smarter than the smartest student in this class. I also can't believe that this time he scored high on the exam this time,” replied his colleague.
For Hana, such a thing was common to her. He has no right to forbid them from expressing their opinions, which is what has kept him from speaking out all this time. Likewise with Zegran, he heard the conversation of his classmates just now.
"Hana,” call Zegran.
"What?" answer Hana.
"Meet me at the park at recess" said Zegran. He whispered not to be heard by others.
"Yes, I know," Hana replied coldly.
The sound of bells filled the entire school building. The voice means that the first learning has begun. A teacher walks into a class that is still muddled with the test scores they just got.
"Save the paper and get the book out now. We'll learn soon" the teacher told him.
"Good, Mom." All students answered simultaneously.
