Liu Yifei smiled faintly. At the sight of Nathan's reaction to his question quickly, Liu Yifei thought about proving whether Nathan was serious about his words or not.

From inside the bag, Liu Yifei took out a piece of paper that he had been preparing for so long in anticipation of an answer from Nathan like this.

"Well, now I want you to sign this letter!" Said Liu Yifei while handing over the letter and a pen to Nathan to see his seriousness.

Nathan took the letter given by Liu Yifei in surprise. Nathan then began to read the letter first and his eyes opened wide.

Without Nathan guessing the letter Liu Yifei had given him to sign was a marriage license. Where Liu Yifei has signed it.

"Are you really serious about doing it?" Nathan asked as he showed Liu Yifei his handwritten letter.

Liu Yifei nodded slowly and looked seriously at Nathan's face. "Of course I'm serious. I've been waiting for this moment for a long time. We can immediately do a photo for the wedding book and after that everything is done. There is no need for a party or wedding, no problem. Or do you dare?"

The beautiful woman then smiled faintly and challenged Nathan to prove his point. This time Liu Yifei would not let go of Nathan just like that and was preceded again by another woman.

"Of course I'm brave..." Nathan replied before signing the marriage application. "Look, it's done, isn't it?" Nathan said as he showed the letter he had signed to Liu Yifei.

Liu Yifei happily received the letter and kept it back. He then approached and pulled the collar of Nathan's shirt which made their faces adrift for a few inches.

The distance between them slowly grew closer. Liu Yifei then kissed Nathan's lips for a few seconds and smiled at him.

"Heh... Do you now dare to tease me again after a long time of not meeting?" Nathan asked with a big smile.

"You can think of it that way. Why why anyway? Are you going to do something to me?" Liu Yifei replied with a smile to challenge Nathan.

Nathan quickly pushed Liu Yifei's body into a corner of the wall. Nathan then locked onto Liu Yifei's movements and guessed what he would do to the beautiful woman.

But unexpectedly a woman appeared and was about to slash Nathan's neck from behind. The woman was none other than Rong Que Liu Yifei's 36-year-old adopted daughter.

Rong Que had previously felt anxious about his mother not returning after leaving. Finally Rong Que decided to look for Liu Yifei and thought that his mother would be harassed by a young man.

"Don't move or you'll soon see your own body without a head!" Threaten Rong Que while sticking a knife in Nathan's throat.

Blood started to come out of Nathan's neck wound when Rong Que too pressed a knife against his neck to slash a little.

"Can we talk about this all right, miss?" Nathan asked who was trying to get the woman behind him to negotiate.

Rong Que clenched his teeth and was irritated when Nathan tried to negotiate when his mother was nearly desecrated.

Outraged Rong Que immediately intended to slash Nathan's neck, but without him expecting Liu Yifei immediately told him to stop his intention.

"Stop Que, put down your knife right now!" Said Liu Yifei while giving a cold look to his adopted daughter for interrupting her moment with Nathan.

"But mother, this young man has evil intentions and wants to tarnish you!" Reply Rong Que who refused orders from Liu Yifei to lower his knife.

Rong Que who was yelled at by Liu Yifei did not expect that his mother would do that, because Liu Yifei had always spoiled him and never once scolded him.

Being yelled at by Liu Yifei certainly made Rong Que feel annoyed towards Nathan which was the main cause of his being scolded by his mother.

Nathan who was already free immediately touched his neck and laughed softly when he saw his hands covered with fresh blood.

The young man then turned around and looked towards a beautiful woman who looked like a career woman.

"Your wish is less deep to break my venice, miss..." Nathan said with a faint smile towards Rong Que who looked annoyed at him.

Seeing the smile on Nathan's face immediately made Rong Que even more angry and wanted to stick a knife towards the young man's heart.

But the action was immediately prevented by Liu Yifei who would clearly protect Nathan and not allow anyone including his own adopted daughter to injure Nathan.

"Why are you protecting a young man like him?!" Asked Rong Que who did not expect that Liu Yifei would put up a body to protect Nathan.

"Due your attitude Que, from now on he will be your father!" Said Liu Yifei sternly while staring intently at Rong Que.

The words thrown by Liu Yifei instantly became a lightning strike for Rong Que. He still could not believe that a young man would be the father of a mature woman like her.

"Dad? What do you mean, ma'am? How does a young man seem to be a parent to me?" Asked Rong Que who was still in shock.

"I will explain everything later to you, now you go back there to take my place..." Reply Liu Yifei.

Rong Que who did not have much choice could only obey because he did not want to be scolded again by Liu Yifei.

But just walking a few steps to leave, Rong Que again made upset with Nathan when he heard the speech of the young man.

"When we meet again, little girl... We'll get closer to the relationship later..." Nathan said with a faint smile which meant that it was very understandable to Rong Que.

Rong Que is now really very upset because he can guess Nathan's depraved thoughts to himself. Of course he will not remain silent when that happens.

After Rong Que left Nathan immediately laughed and felt quite entertained while making the beautiful woman angry because of her joke.

But suddenly Liu Yifei instantly pinched and twisted Nathan's stomach from feeling jealous of what the man had said just now.

"Are you going to take it too? Don't do that, I don't want my daughter to be my own brother!" Liu Yifei.

Next to Nathan's eyebrows raised upon hearing what Liu Yifei said. "Of course not, I was just joking with him. But do you remember what you did to Emilia?"

Hearing a question from Nathan instantly made Liu Yifei feel insinuated and ashamed, because he himself had snatched Nathan from Emilia who used to be his own adoptive mother.

If Rong Que really entered into Nathan's grip then this seemed to be his own karma for Liu Yifei.
