Death of Admiral Yamamoto

Two months did not seem to pass very quickly. On April 18, 1943, Nathan, Harry, Kevin, and Robby were walking through the woods to meet someone they had been waiting for. While the women are still staying on the ship because two of them, Julia and Gisela, are pregnant.

While cutting down the trees that block the road, for the umpteenth time Kevin continued to babble because the road they passed was very muddy after a night of heavy rain.

"It's a real hassle for Nathan. Why don't you just take us all flying, it'll be a lot easier!" Said Kevin while lazily chopping down the trees around him.

"I can't use it too often, just be patient we'll be there soon..." Nathan replies that looks to lead the way of the three men behind him.

"A minute what, you've been saying those words over and over again but we've been walking for three hours!" Said Kevin grumbling.

Harry who kept hearing Kevin's chatter from earlier now seemed very upset to the man. "Shut up, you've been babbling all the time. It's noisy!"

"Yes, stop babbling Kevin. It's better to keep your energy than to keep noisy like a woman!" Robby.

Kevin held his head that hurt after being patted hard enough by Harry. He then stopped and looked at Harry and Robby in annoyance.

"It's not the noise you two are. Every night you keep making love to your wife until her voice is heard everywhere. Even your wives are pregnant at times like this!" Kevin said that made Harry and Robby's faces flushed with embarrassment.

Nathan who sees the three men start to fuss instantly gives them each a legged love kick. "You shut up, we've arrived!"

Harry, Kevin, and Robby seem to be in pain after getting a love kick from Nathan that makes the three a little scared.

Kevin was curious to say Nathan that they had arrived and then looked around, and still the same is a lot of trees but there is one tree that is slightly larger than the other.

"here? Then where is the person you mean?" Kevin asked with a look of surprise because he found no one but the four of them there.

"Just wait, he'll be here soon. Then we can ask the man a question..." Reply Nathan while sitting on a big tree trunk peeling an apple in his hand.

Kevin let out a long sigh and chose to sleep on the tree while waiting for the man Nathan meant. While Harry and Robby chat with Nathan to ask some things in the future.

On the other hand in the sky was seen a campaign of Imperial Japanese aircraft flying low over the Salomon Islands, which carried Admiral Yamamoto who was going to the military base on the island.

There was nothing suspicious at first and the flight went very smoothly, but soon American foreign planes came and attacked the campaign.

The battle in the sky was inevitable, with the crew of the plane escorting Admiral Yamamoto's plane.

However, due to an eventual loss of aircraft, Admiral Yamamoto crashed into the forest and the American warplanes then turned around to return after confirming that their mission had been completed.

What the American pilots did not realize was that Admiral Yamamoto had survived and was now struggling to get out of the wreckage of the plane.

Yamamoto who felt his legs numb then leaned against a large tree while waiting for help. But immediately his eyes opened wide when he saw there were four men who one of whom he knew was sitting looking at him.

"You see, I told you the man would come alone..." Nathan said as he pointed at Yamamoto who could only now see him.

The corner of Kevin's lips twitched as he looked at the person they had been waiting for turned out to be a great Admiral for the Empire of Japan.

Kevin, Harry, and Robby obviously did not expect it to be like this especially when they saw with their own eyes the way Yamamoto got there.

"You're crazy, do you know what happens in the future?" Harry asked, looking in surprise at Nathan.

"Of course, all of this has been written in history books. Let's go quickly to the man..." Nathan replies as he walks over to Admiral Yamamoto.

"Who are you really. Why are you still alive and why are you in this place!?" Admiral Yamamoto asked while pointing his gun with trembling hands.

Nathan chuckles and crouches in front of the wounded Yamamoto. "Of course it's me, the young man you shot back then. If asked why I'm here, of course to meet you..."

Yamamoto who was upset and insulted by Nathan then fired a shot right on the young man's forehead to make sure he was really dead.

But who would have thought after being shot, Nathan's forehead wound instantly disappeared and the man looked fine which made Yamamoto surprised. Harry, Kevin, and Robby see Nathan, who can't die.

"Sir, isn't it rude to shoot the person you're talking to?" Nathan asked with a faint smile that even made Admiral Yamamoto frightened.

Yamamoto desperately shot Nathan repeatedly until he ran out of bullets but the young man was still fine.

"Who do you really want, what do you want from me!?" Yamamoto asked with a terrified look as if he were seeing a ghost.

Nathan laughs and shakes his head which makes Yamamoto even more afraid as Harry, Kevin, and Robby witness the incident.

"This young man in front of you is Nathan, sir. Just get to the point, I want the treasure map you're hiding..." Nathan said as he picked up the gun that Yamamoto was holding easily.

"Why do you know where you got that information?" Admiral Yamamoto asked who was still curious about Nathan's source of information.

Nathan chuckled then looked straight at Yamamoto. "I know everything, even to bury the information about the treasure you are hiding, you are willing to bury alive your prisoners of war as well as your own men so that the information does not leak. Aren't we?"

Hearing the words of Nathan, Yamamoto who felt that the young man already knew everything could only sigh long and resignedly if his life would end there.

From inside the clothes Yamamoto took out a scroll containing a map showing the location and the treasure trap and gave it to Nathan.

"It's a pity that I can't see my wife Reiko and our four children anymore..." Yamamoto said with a light laugh knowing his death will come soon.

"Don't worry, I'll share some of that treasure for your descendants someday..." Nathan chimed.

Yamamoto chuckled and saw the same look in Nathan's eyes. The man then pulled out a dagger which would be owned by every military official and inside the handle of the knife was hidden a piece of paper containing a message.

"I trust you, please give this knife to my family..." Yamamoto said as he held out a knife wrapped neatly by the white cloth.

Nathan gladly received the knife and kept it. He then gave the man's gun back which had been refilled.

"You can do it yourself, right?" Nathan asks Yamamoto to perform Harakiri or Seppuku, which the Japanese military used to do, in order to die with respect.

Yamamoto chuckled and nodded, he did not expect Nathan would know of this kind of thing that obviously made the man become a little respectful towards him.

"Tenno Heika banzai!" Yamamoto said before opening fire on his chest and also one of his eyes that shot into his head to make the great Admiral of the Japanese Empire finally died.

After Yamamoto was killed, Nathan walked up to Harry, Kevin, and Robby who seemed to notice him in surprise.

"Let's hurry we have to come back soon, for Admiral it will be a search squad that will find him..." Nathan said as he walked away.

Harry, Kevin, and Robby nodded and walked home behind Nathan.

Until some time later an American search team was sent to ascertain whether Yamamoto was dead or not then came to the location.

After seeing Yamamoto's body the search party then burned it as a sense of reverence before the ashes were deposited into two different urns.
