Searching for Wood

At night Nathan looks busy making blue paper containing the design of the ship carefully and pay attention to all aspects in it.

Emilia who was lying in bed was curious when she saw Nathan was busy drawing something beside her.

"What are you doing these nights?" Emilia asked as she kissed Nathan's cheek and glanced at the sheets of paper on the table.

"The design of the ship we want to build from tomorrow..." Nathan replied without even glancing at Emilia because she was busy with the blue paper.

"Yes, I had heard this afternoon that you guys were going to build a boat. Actually I don't mind if you ask for funds, after all the company is now yours..." Emilia said while looking at Nathan's serious face.

Nathan sighed and glanced at Emilia. "No, even if it's my name now, the company is yours. I don't want to touch her even once because the company is your family's legacy..."

"Don't I understand, then what can I help you with now? Ah right too, are we able to come with you guys also looking for treasure. That sounds like fun!" Said Emilia with a starry look.

"No, you can't come. It's gonna be very dangerous and if you get caught by the Japanese, how are you?" Nathan refused to give Emilia permission.

Emilia puffed her cheeks and hit Nathan's thigh. "You promised to take me anywhere before I go, and if I get caught by the Japanese it's easy!" Said Emilia while showing her sharp fingernails extending to Nathan.

Seeing that Emilia had insisted and would tear her body apart if she still did not give permission, Nathan finally nodded.

"Alright, but take care of your friends later..." Nathan said as he continued to work on the design of his ship.

Emilia smiled and hugged Nathan. "Thank you..." Emilia kissed Nathan on the cheek before lying down on the bed.

Nathan who saw Emilia was smiling to himself while imagining something felt a little relieved because the woman could finally melt a little to others and not cool anymore.

A few hours later Nathan finally finished with the design of his ship and yawned because sleepy had to stay up until 3 am.

He then lay on the bed and when he was about to sleep immediately disturbed by Emilia who woke up and immediately hugged him from behind.

Nathan sighed and turned to face Emilia who was staring with a pleading gaze sparkling like a kitten.

"No, we did it on the beach, didn't we? I want to sleep now..." Nathan said as he carried Emilia into his arms.

Emilia nodded slowly in Nathan's arms and looked for a comfortable position to go back to sleep.

The next morning after breakfast Nathan exits his house and discovers that Harry, Kevin, and Robby have arrived with a truck used to find wood.

Not only the three men who came but also Julia, Amanda, and Gisela who want to help them.

"It's good that you guys came on time but why should you take them?" Nathan asked as he glanced at Julia Amanda, and Gisela.

"It wasn't us who invited, but they insisted on coming along..." Harry replied with terrified eyes when he saw his wife Julia.

Nathan who saw the behavior of the three men like fear immediately understood and chuckled. "All right, I understand, then let's just start..."

They all gathered to see the blueprint Nathan had created and explained to the man so they could understand.

"What tree do we want to use, is pine?" Kevin asked while looking at the blueprint he now carried in his hand.

"Pulse... What about Oak trees? Gisela's father has it. But we have to cut it down first. Isn't Gisela?" Robby asked Gisela's wife.

Gisela nodded. "Yes, my father had a fairly large land and there were a lot of Oak trees tens or even hundreds of years. But I doubt he'll allow us to cut him down..."

"Just calm down, I can handle it. Then we'll just go straight there!" Nathan said confidently, but not with Robby who knows his in-laws' toughness.

Although initially hesitant, Robby finally decided to keep quiet so that Nathan was not afraid to know the attitude of his father-in-law.

By driving a truck and eight people's car then went to Gisela's house to get the raw material that is wood from Oak trees.

It took them an hour to get to Gisela's house and when they got there they saw a big house.

Gisela, accompanied by Robby, came down and approached the house to find the woman's parents.

After searching inside the house they did not find the whereabouts of Gisela's parents and this made the two people slightly dizzy.

But on the other hand Nathan who was walking around seeing a large number of Oak trees accidentally met a burly man who was cutting firewood using an ax.

Realizing the presence of someone near him the man then immediately turned around and saw a young man standing behind him.

"What are you doing here young man, this is not a public place!" Said the burly man while looking at Nathan with the look on his face.

Nathan becomes nervous when asked by the man, but suddenly a boot floats and hits the bald head of the burly man.

"What's with your attitude is Anggelo! Can't you be more polite to your own daughter's friend!?" Madeline said the mother of Gisela who seemed upset with her husband's attitude.

"I didn't scare her at all and just asked, Madeline..." Reply Anggelo with a frightened face.

Madeline took her boots that she had thrown and pointed them at Anggelo's face. "You dare answer me? I'm going to stuff my shoes with your mouth!" Madeline Threaten.

Anggelo who did not dare to face Madeline finally relented and apologized to Nathan, which clearly made Nathan confused and relieved.

From a distance Gisela, Robby, Harry, Kevin, Julia, Amanda, and Emilia came to them while holding a laugh.

Madeline then explains to her husband Anggelo about the arrival of the men after he was informed by Gisela and Robby earlier.

Hearing that some of his trees wanted to be cut down Anggelo obviously wanted to reject him, but when he saw his wife's creepy gaze he was finally forced to give permission.

After getting permission from that day Nathan and the others began collecting wood to be used as a shipbuilding material.

When some trees began to be cut down Anggelo was seen biting his finger because he was still not willing to give some of his trees for free even for his own daughter.

Nathan, who sees Anggelo, approaches him and gives him a bottle of wine he found in the basement of his house.

At that time Nathan accidentally found a basement in his house containing fermented wine and he guessed that his parents were wine farmers.

Nathan accidentally brought a bottle of wine from there before to serve as a tool to bribe his father Gisela to be given permission to cut down some Oak trees.
