Last Night

The corner of Nathan's lips twitched after he fell from the bed after being kicked out by Emilia. "What do you mean, why did you kick me out of bed?"

Emilia did not answer and took out the middle finger symbol from under the blanket. The woman was already very upset and decided to talk until Nathan apologized and told her.

On the other hand Nathan who saw Emilia's behavior thought that the woman was having a moon come and made her attitude become tempramental.

"Do you want money for shopping, I'll give it to you..." Nathan said while giving some 20 dollar bills besides Emilia.

Emilia swiftly took all the money into the blanket and still did not want to speak to Nathan.

"Ah so, you want chocolate. Take that..." Nathan thought the woman who was coming to the moon liked sweets and he then put a chocolate candy bar next to Emilia.

For the second time Emilia quickly picked up the chocolate and still did not want to talk to Nathan.

"What do you want, why just shut up. Are you angry with me?" Nathan's ignorant question faced Emilia's attitude now.

Emilia remained silent and under the covers she began to eat the chocolate Nathan gave her. She wanted to make her husband more sensitive even though he did not speak.

"Hey I'm not a magician. I don't know what you want. So quickly tell me what you want now..." Said Nathan who was a little dizzy with one of the attitudes of women that requires a man to be sensitive.

As there was no answer, Nathan then lay down beside Emilia and instantly made the woman his personal bolster.

From under the covers Emilia continued to rebel and wanted to break away Nathan's embrace which made it a bolster.

Emilia took her head out from under the blanket and looked resentfully at Nathan who was smiling warmly at her. Although he looked annoyed he could not hide the feeling when he saw Nathan's current face.

"Good... I know you're exhausted tonight. So let's just go to bed..." Nathan embraced Emilia's body and kissed the woman's forehead before closing his eyes.

"Basic sucks..." Emilia smiled faintly as she looked at Nathan's face that was beginning to fall asleep. He kissed Nathan's lips and buried his own face in the man's chest.

An intelligence officer received a telegram from an Allied submarine patrolling the Pacific Ocean.

"Sir, I have a report that the Japanese Navy is conducting a convoy to Pearl Harbor!" Said the officer while handing over the report paper to his superior.

When receiving reports from his men. The boss then immediately contacted the officers to discuss the reports he had received.

"What's calling in the middle of the night like this?" Ask an officer who looks upset because his break time is very short to be disturbed.

The intelligence chief did not comment on the officer's words and began to explain the report he had received earlier from one of his subordinates.

Early in the morning the Marines were immediately awakened by the sound of the announcement and some soldiers who woke them all up to gather.

"Curtain! What the fuck, I just got to sleep and now I have to get up. This is not fair..." Said Kevin.

"Don't complain. We must hurry soon or we will be punished..." Robby, who is owned by Harry.

The three of them then immediately rushed towards the place where the other Marines had gathered to receive a new task.

Nathan awoke from his sleep when he heard the sound of someone knocking on the door. When he woke up he saw Emilia who was still sound asleep in her arms.

When he wanted to leave, Emilia suddenly clasped her hands and made Nathan have to try extra before being able to check who was the one who knocked on the door of the house.

As soon as Nathan checked he found a middle-aged man dressed as an officer. Nathan immediately tidied up his clothes and was polite to him.

"There is something I can help you with, sir. Why bother coming here?" Ask Nathan.

Instead of being flattered by Nathan's polite demeanor, the middle-aged man looked upset. "Stop being formal like this. I am now your father-in-law, you thief!" Said Admiral Frank.

Nathan then immediately invited Admiral Frank in and the two began to speak with four eyes in the guest room.

"So here's how we received a report from the intelligence headquarters about a Japanese fleet that will attack the island in a few days..." Said Admiral Frank casually while sucking his cigar.

"What does this have to do with me?" Nathan replied innocently because he had predicted this would happen before.

Admiral Frank who heard Nathan's words immediately narrowed his eyes. "Of course there is. You'll be relieved of your duties and returned to New York with Emilia..."

"uh? No, I can't take it. As a Marine I can't back down from my responsibilities!" Nathan rejected Admiral Frank's proposal outright.

"It's orders. After what you did in the battle before, we agreed to give you leave..." Said Admiral Frank.

"Do you have no pity for my daughter who just got married and can become a widow at any time?" Keep up Admiral Frank.

For a moment Nathan thought back to Admiral Frank's words. But after making the decision to stay, Nathan finally insisted.

"What about the wives of the other soldiers, they will also become widows if their husbands are killed. I'll just stay and relax, everything's gonna be fine..." Nathan Said.

Seeing the earnestness from Nathan's eyes, Admiral Frank finally could only sigh and allow the man to join the war with him.

"Alright, we'll leave at five in the morning and you'd better enjoy some time with my daughter. I've scheduled the flight, so take it easy..." Admiral Frank said before leaving.

Nathan thanked Admiral Frank and afterwards went back into the room to meet Emilia who was still asleep.

There were only three left before his departure and Nathan decided to momentarily look at the face of Emilia whom he would not meet for several weeks.

Feeling the touch of someone on his face Emilia then woke up and found Nathan who was rubbing his cheek using his thumb.

"What!?" Asked Emilia who was still upset by the previous incident.

Nathan smiled and suddenly hugged Emilia like a bolster. "No one, go back to sleep or I'll eat you tonight..."

Hearing Nathan's words suddenly made Emilia feel a little creepy because she still felt a pain in the area after being beaten up completely by the man some time ago.

Emilia immediately closed her eyes and tried to go back to sleep for fear of being eaten by Nathan.

Nathan who saw Emilia's behavior could only chuckle. "Good night..." Nathan said before turning off the lights.
