Funeral Ceremony

In the evening the bodies of the victims who can be lifted were successfully taken aboard the ship. The bodies of the victims were then lined up to be counted.

Harry, Kevin, and Robby are now right next to their friend's corpse. The three see Nathan now stretched stiff with conditions that are quite alarming.

Not a word came out of his mouth. This was a blow to the three and they themselves did not expect Nathan to die as a prisoner of war.

Admiral Frank, on the other hand, looked worriedly at the phone on his desk. He felt confused to explain everything to his daughter.

With a sigh Admiral Frank then ventured to call Emilia. Soon a woman's voice came from behind the phone.

"Hello, who is this?" Emilia asked from behind the phone.

"It's dad. How are you doing now?" Admiral Frank said in a huffed tone.

"Unm... I'm fine and now I still have to fill out the hospital files. This could drive me crazy for a long time. What about Dad and Nathan?" Emilia asked while reading the file in her room.

Admiral Frank taps his index finger on the table and is at a loss where to explain it. "Yes, everything is going well and successfully. Now we're sailing back to Pearl Harbor..."

"Good, I have to hang up on my dad because there's still a lot of work. Tell Nathan that I've been waiting for him..." Emilia said before hanging up.

After the phone closed, Admiral Frank could only sigh and he then resuscitated his body in the chair. He still did not expect his daughter-in-law and flagship pilot at Yorktown to be killed in the final battle at Midway.

The next day a final tribute ceremony to the victims was held on each ship. The coffin was later released to the sea, but not with Nathan's coffin kept in a cooler at Admiral Frank's request.

Upon arrival at Midway, Nathan's coffin was flown on a commercial plane accompanied by his three friends and Admiral Frank himself.

The flight went well and arrived at a military base in California. Third until it looks Emilia who has been waiting with a happy expression and does not know the truth.

As Admiral Frank disembarks, he is greeted by several top military officers before finally meeting his waiting daughter.

Emilia then hugged Admiral Frank for a while. "Thank God, I came back safely. Where's Nathan, I don't see him..."

Admiral Frank took off Emilia's embrace and smiled furiously at her. "First I apologized..."

"Why did you apologize, he went home with you, didn't he?" Emilia seemed confused by Admiral Frank who without cause apologized to her.

That's when Harry, Kevin, and Robby with the help of three other soldiers came out carrying a crate wrapped in an American flag.

At the sight of the coffin Emilia had not suspected at all, but after only seeing her husband's three friends she began to feel something bad.

"I'm sorry, he died in his last assignment. Again I'm sorry..." Said Admiral Frank who instantly made Emilia's body weak.

Emilia's originally bright gaze turned blank once she had lost her soul. Emilia who was not strong accepted the reality and fainted in her father's arms.

In the evening, Emilia wakes up in her room. He felt his head a little dizzy and thought everything he was going through was just a dream.

But suddenly Admiral Frank entered his room wearing a black suit as if he was mourning the death of someone.

The condition of Nathan's body is still very fresh as it has just died and is awake. Emilia then touched Nathan's cold cheek while holding herself back.

"Wakeup... Don't just shut up like this..." Said Emilia with puffy eyes.

Admiral Frank who saw it then patted Emilia's shoulder to calm the woman even though it would be useless.

That night Emilia decided to stay beside Nathan's coffin while continuing to look at the face of the man who managed to conquer a woman like her.

Everyone was gone and only Emilia was left in the room. Nathan, who was thought to have died, slowly opened his eyes and saw Emilia closing her eyes while holding her hand.

"What are you doing?" Nathan asked who had just woken up from hibernation after the incident in which he was shot dead by Japanese soldiers.

Hearing a familiar voice, Emilia then adored her eyes and looked at Nathan who was looking at her in surprise.

"It seems like I've started to go insane until hallucinating like this..." Emilia chuckled and made Nathan who saw her get a little goosebumps.

Nathan instantly flicked Emilia's forehead to resuscitate the woman. As a result Emilia whimpered in pain and held onto her forehead which was flushed by Nathan.

"Conscious, where am I now?" Nathan got up from his coffin and saw that he was now in a room that was used for mourning.

The man was quite surprised to find that he was wearing a suit that was used for the dead.

Nathan then took off the white gloves in his hand and loosened a bit of his tight-fitting collar before crouching down before Emilia.

"Why daydream, is there anything strange?" Nathan snapped his finger in front of Emilia who was glued to look at him.

Emilia immediately regained consciousness and felt Nathan's face. "Is this real. You should be dead, right?"

"What do you mean. Obviously I'm alive and I'm talking to you. Is it because you haven't seen each other for more than a week that you've forgotten your own husband to think he's dead?" Nathan Said.

Realizing what she saw was reality, Emilia immediately hugged Nathan tightly to make the two lie on the floor.

"Hey-hey... Why are you suddenly against me. Not here..." Nathan said as he patted Emilia on the back as he felt tight.

Emilia ignored Nathan's words and hugged the man tightly. Whether this was an illusion or just a delusion, Emilia did not want to miss this moment.

With little effort Nathan got up while being constantly hugged by the koala-like Emilia. He then walked through the room while carrying Emilia before finally reaching the woman's room.

"Let go, do you want to kill me huh?" Nathan asked while trying to remove the female koala from his body.

Emilia firmly embraced Nathan and made the man who was feeling tired, forced to sleep in a mattress while being hugged by Emilia.

Before actually sleeping, Nathan recalled the previous incident when he was shot dead. At that moment his gaze suddenly darkened and after waking up instantly moved places.

'It seems that what Echelon said was indeed true. Well, although very risky but this experiment is quite successful...' Nathan's mind is satisfied.
