EVERNA Arcel Raine's
Syndicate Attacks

Tonight will be a long night.

Ironically, the bustling fighters who gathered in the alleyway behind the Headbangers’ Club Building tonight may never be able to see the sun and blue sky again.

Especially when Arcel Raine watches the enemies who keep coming. Some of them had unique looks and spread an aura of energy that was more concentrated, larger and more pressing than others.

One of the besiegers, a horned mask named Necho, even stated blatantly that he was a member of Bloodshed, the most powerful fighting party in Centronia, which is also a member of the Ultimatum Syndicate.

Not only Necho, at least four people “competarunik” others also appear leading.

“Sand Jinx and Ratfang of the Dangerous Playmates Party,” said Cross who apparently has a wide network among fighters and hitmen around the world. “Phantomime from Arcadia, and jeez... Khaos the Klown, frontman of Bloodshed!”

Cross' very different way of naming the last fighter shows the impression that the slim and flexible man is the strongest among the five magic warriors who besieged Bloodfeast, Arcel and Dean.

“Khu, khu... It's good that you still recognize us,” said Khaos the costumed clown from tight spandex material and give a face that seems creepy and not funny at all. “But that will not change the fact that we have to eliminate you, excommunicado, as well as all those who help you anyway.”

“For five thousand arthiums per head,” Phantomime timps, slender white-clad men in horizontal blue stripes, fedora-hatted, white-faced, Dangerous Playmates' members.

Arcel clucking. “Wah, that big?” his comment. “So if someone wants to redeem their life by paying the requested prize money, they will be released from the blacklist of excommunicado, right?”

“That depends on the decision of the Supreme Council of the Syndicate, of which Dominion, our chairman also sits in it,” Necho said. “But before anyone files that petition, it's better we take that big gift for ourselves, right?”

“Then, it is only natural that we defend our own lives by fighting desperately,” Cross said as he mounted the horses. “Dean and Arcel, sorry we involved you both.”

“What, I would rather die with friends than alone,” said Arcel with a smile, because he had experienced it many times since taking part in his native era.

“But we don't have to die here first,” said Dean, who knows District Six best among his friends. “Cute me. We breakthrough them and fight while escaping.”

“Good! Agree!” The other five warriors replied or simply nodded. Except as a last resort, there was no point in fighting it out in this place.

“Have you been satisfied? Have you exchanged farewells with the world? Then attack! Crackle for excommunicado!”

All the besiegers stormed forward. Only two warriors from Bloodshed, Necho and Khaos, stood in place. Whether they intended to give the other Syndicate members the opportunity to scoop up large gifts of money and services, or to sneakily exhaust the target first, just fishing in murky water.

Arcel's team is now focused on breaking through the siege in one direction only, which is to follow the direction of Dean Vizier's movement.

The most ill-fated were the assassins at the point of breakthrough.so the months of the six warriors were formidable. Many of them collapsed, even killed by weapons and empty hands.

“Hey, hey! Don't run, coward!” exclaimed Sand Jinx, the only woman of the five besieging frontmen of the Syndicate. Together with Phantomime and Ratfang, the three pursue Team Arcel.

“Let us hold them! You guys keep running!” toxin exclaimed, while he and Onyx slowed their run to face the pursuers.

Got a bad feeling, Arcel exclaimed, “Help them!” It slowed its run too, now side by side with Toxin and Onyx.

Arcel's hunch is just right. The next moment Sand Jinx launched a long-range firing line, namely Sand Storm Scirocco. The unexpected thing is, the high-powered sandstorm was crashing into anyone within its reach, regardless of friends or opponents.

“Crazy! I gotta hold on!” rutuk Arcel in heart. He quickly turned around, putting up a body to protect Onyx and Toxin and restraining the energy of the sandstorm with both palms outstretched. Naturally in front of those two palms was a sort of shield of Seven Rainbow Crystals Energy that was stocked like a shield.

Fortunately Arcel had once handled a sandstorm similar to Scirocco, the Khamsin in Ishmina. So he knew how to dampen the energy of that spreading hot wind. Arcel was just grimacing pain without sustaining any meaningful injuries thanks to his protective prana, whereas Onyx and Toxin were fine.

“Thank you!” onyx said sincerely, then he continued to run with Toxin while beating the enemies who attacked relentlessly, including Phantomime and Ratfang.

Instead, when Arcel was not ready, Necho and Khaos darted past. That's quite reasonable, what they are after are the excommunicado whose prize money is clear.

But Arcel gasped and quickly chased after the two strongest figures on the enemy side in the assassin squad. He shouted, “Awas Toxin, Onyx! Danger!”

The two Bloodfeast members were still busy running while fighting, as if unaware of the greater danger than Sand Jinx, Ratfang and Phantomime were eyeing them.

As if confirming the danger, Necho's deadly claws pierced right into the heart behind the female ninja's back, Onyx.

Realizing the warning would be too late, Toxin spun suddenly and kicked Necho's claws into a whimper. He actually already knew they were both being targeted by a very strong enemy, but chose to keep running, avoiding a completely unbalanced fight.

“Hehe, here is one easy target!” necho said from behind his prosthetic mask.

However, the poor Toxin now faces two high-class fighters, Necho and Khaos alone.

“Toxin, no!” While screaming and crying, Onyx turned around to help Toxin as if Toxin was his lover. But Ratfang attacked, as if blocking the Onyx.

“Keep running, Onyx! Don't mind me!” exciting Toxin. “Let's just relax, I won't die that easily!”

Forced Onyx clucked while turning again, now away from Toxin. His tears were breaking more and more, wetting his veil, as if flying from behind his back. A moment later, he heard Toxin's roar, but he was forced to keep running.

Arcel was also about to help Toxin, but he was still fighting and warding off Sand Jinx's sandstorm while continuing to run.

Seeing Arcel rather off guard, Sand Jinx exclaimed, “Ha! Killed you by my signature style!” He then did a swivel kick, the energy of the sandstorm is centered on the soles of the feet with a drill-like effect. This is the main style of Sand Jinx, Scirocco Scorpion Sting.

Unfortunately, Sand Jinx had no idea that Arcel was the Ishmaelite, and he earned that title through a lot of acid-salt adventures and battles in the desert and the tattoo on Arcel's face is not just a decoration to look more sad.

With unexpected reflexes Arcel managed to dodge the death kick. Not only that, he also ducked, inched to the side and placed himself in the right and unexpected position of the opponent. Like a scorpion attacking a prey with its poisonous tail, it then sticks out its index finger and shoots out a ray of Rainbow Orange.

No doubt, the sharp orange beam that should be for a very long distance shot is very strong when hitting the target at close range. How sad, Arcel himself did not expect the light he meant just to injure the opponent even hit the left waist of the woman born in Quwais State in Al-Kalam Peninsula and penetrated to his shoulders.

Along with one tortuous shrill, Sand Jinx's life from the Dangerous Playmates Party floated in the air, then his body fell into a lying position with wide eyes and mouth agape.

Arcel had too often lost the lives of others, including his own teacher, so he no longer had time to take a headache, let alone regret the first life he lost in this new age for himself, in his new role as Apprentice Agent Helios of VOLSUNG.

Arcel will never forget the name and figure of Sand Jinx in his lifetime.
